  Yeah I am going to a lot of temples. India is awesome, I love it. I am in delhi right now, its hot but the pollution has decreased. I guess its because of the policy that the autos and taxis muswt use cng. I like it though. I am goign to be going to bangalore next. I love that place so we will see how it has become in the last 4 years. Man its so sad to see all the poor people here, and in the US we see every one so much more welthier than these people. I went to a village yesterday through AID(assoc for indias development) and was checking out a project that we had given money for. Anyways gotta go, and looks like Madhu also has a habit of repeating himself and the topic is going back to a very familiar one for me, I have give I am sure he has read it, but anyways, I am not goignt o repeat it right now. I dont have the time to go search for that post of mine. maybe some other day.

  As I see it, everyone agrees that caste discrimination is wrong. But I see a discrepancy on how to eliminate caste.
  
  Some say that caste can only be abolished through caste intermarriage and elimination of all outward signs of caste (such as cutting ponuul). But this would involve a serious curtailing of freedom if people were forced to marry someone of another caste, or to display a visible sign of their caste.
  
  As some have mentioned before, reservation tries to fight casteism by using casteism. Everyone now has a caste certificate. Remember when the Taliban announced its intent to 'register' the non-Muslims in Afghanistan, and that immediately an analogy was drawn with the practice of registering Jews (the first step in the Holocaust)?
  
  I have written before about my belief that liberation can only be achieved and understood by the individual, and not the group. Casteism is an evil which is acting like a cancer on society. But it cannot be fought by trying to impose controls of society. The only thing that an authority (ie the government) can really do is to punish those who infringe upon the rights of others. A legal authority can not and should not force one to marry another caste, but if that person chooses to marry outside of his caste and is threatened by casteists, then the authority has the duty to protect him in his choice.

  No, he did not. Buddha searched for the end of suffering. He did not search for a utopian society. All of Buddha's teachings have to do with how an individual should lead a moral life. Nowhere did he mention how society should be organized.
  
  The exception to that is the creation of the Maha Sangha- the community of monks. Early in Gautama's Buddhahood, he stressed the importance of the monastic life and thus the monk was the ideal person. However, later in his life, the Buddha began to focus more and more on the lay person- the average person and not the monk.

  dont get carried away by fundamentalists. SL tamils should see their own business. this separitism needs to nibbed in the bud and rajathravagam should be poured on it. the ash should be thrown into poles.
  
  evenif u consider Tn is independent, how can it run with existing facilities. kashmir could not be got even after another country's support.
  Punjab the richest could not achieve it. assam gorka terrorists are negotiating. suppressed in eelam are negotiating for temp settlement.
  
  do u want to make deathblood,spoiling generations totally? who will support u other than anti india people? will muslims,christian join U?
  hence let us try to win and be rich.
