  You are back. Good to see you again. WHere did you dissapear man? Anyways, I dont know about the poor hindus/rich hindus argument. Thye seem very loaded. If you look at who took part in the attrocities it was mostly uneducated people, who were rattled up (ofcourse by our rich elite RSSians/VHP goons). I dont think any of our stinking rich indians like narayan murthy want the riots to continue (I am making this statement because I know it hinders the growth of industry in India, and I know he is smart enough to realize this), so by extending the argumnent, only the sticking rich are really good because they are ardently against the riots?
  
  Regards helping the muslims, you know our media likes contraversies. If they post some of these heriocs of the people who stand up for their muslim friends, I thnk that might help the situation. Unfortunately our media only projects the bad things of both communities aggravating the situation. Anyways, I think there are a lot of people who stand up for their muslim friends even in the rich communities only thing is that the rich communities never get targetted in any of these riots. Why hasnt the Wipro office in ahmedabad been targetted? the uneducated are the ones right now continuing with the riots in their small communities therefore it is more like that you will see heriocs in that community. And our freaking RSSians get their support by through these uneducated people.

  actually you cannot make this parallel either. Even if we assume that brahmins are aryans (by the way I dont believe this) even then it does nto mean that all aryans are brahmins. Therefore unless you say that only brahmins are aryans you cannot make this parallel!!!

  this aryan drvidian debate is confusing bcos all discusssions are double/triple tongued and we show which suits us. no real proof or concrete history available.
  u can slightly say the parallel. ie in any group of human, some beauticians. barbers must have been there. i pointed this bcos the respondent wrote brahmins were in many fields( it was true) but he was shy of accepting barber work work was done by brahmins( his words imply)

  If you are, I dont have a problem with barbers. But you cant make a parallel still, because even if aryans were barbers, does not mean that brahmins would have been as an extension. Not that there is anything wrong in that. I was just poing out the logic flaw and in no way does this imply anything about my feelings. However I would never want to be a barber myself, just like I dont want to be a doctor either.

  We have elaborate discussions and opinions in this forum regarding why caste came about. Caste catogorized work - from top level to the bottom level. Higher level work - priests, ministers at arasa sabai were done by upper level castes. Mid level jobs - let's say trading, finance and the like by Chetties, Konars and similar castes. The lowel level jobs by so called low castes. A Brahmin wouldn't have been a hair dressernor a washer man. He had his hair done by a barber and his clothes done by a washer man who fell in lower caste ladder.
  
  Now in our present financial situation, people with degrees don't find jobs and it possible they would take in any job if they are not shy to do so. That's how the future going to be. I've seen barbers becoming doctors. A potter getting to be a washer man etc. etc.
  
  This is good because in this way the caste system will disapper. If you see matrimonial services advertise for men or women where caste is no bar.

  like all other ppl believed we believed in Gods and we began to pray and we used to pray Lord Shiva, Cobra and other snakes. Other rocks which was formed to a form of God. This is the reason why Thamizh welcomed and got involved in other rleigions.

Other way round if Harappan and Mohenjadaro were to be dravidian what happened to their writings. Sad Part of Indian history. We dont even think any other way. If fair are Aryans and Brahmins , Iyers are quite dark. If Tamilians are dravidians and dark, then iyengars are quite fair.   If you still may like to hear something about the origine of the hindu godnesses? I guess you have to differ between the construct hinduism and the believe/ way of believe which is rooted in that construct. I mean a "hindu" is beliving in all goodnesses or in one or in some. there is no rule no construct. there are hindu's believe in the power of the mother and others who believe in the power of the man, it's the difference between north and south.
  the origine of the construct hinduism come according to knowledge from the entry of the indo-arian. they had the construct of religion/society differences, but had to adapt it to the allready existing believes/legends, the believe in the mother.
