  Female Oppression is a natural phenomenon in Tamil Nadu. The ancient Tamil Sangha kalam was totally male chauvinist and encouraged wife desertion, polygamy , and prostitution.
  
  The modern Tamil Nadu politics reflects the intense chauvinism.The anti women male chauvinist DMK is headed by a polygamous Karunanidhi who has used most vulgar language against Jayalalitha. Not only that large segments of Tamil Men are misogynist and (incidentally all of them are also DMK supporters) TamilNadu today is teeming with violence against women, male chauvinism , wife beating and all anti women crimes

  Dowry is the reason behind female infanticide. Dowry practice is prevalent allover India and so is female infanticide. We should stop the problem right at the source. So, STOP ACCEPTING DOWRY!

  There may always be some holes in the legal system. They will be plugged in course of time.

  If you visit a slum, you can find slum dwellers throw their baby girls infront of moving vehicles to extract money by blackmailing. They kill baby girls as well as make few thousand bucks out of that.
