All times in EST +10:30 for IST.

I was watching the ceremony in Rome [ i mean from BBC!] , the one which was done to beatify the Albanian Lady Teresa. Slightly got elated that there was processions in Hindu style with carnatic music and black south Indian women carryin Lamps in true tamil/mallu style.

As an Indian and Tamil should I be happy on this move by Vatican??

By the way, I have a few questions about Teresa:

1. Is she a Saint really?

2. Whether the Miracles are true??

3. Has she at any point of time, talked good about non-christian cultures life Tamil culture or about the Bengalis??

4. Whether she was a religiously tolerant lady, who accepted ppl without any religious hatred?

5.Whether her so called 'social service' was genuine - done with good motives or meant solely to convert ppl -another side of mulla-type fanaticism?

6.Has she at any point of time praised non-christians like Gandhiji, Valluvar, Vallalar,Buddha etc?

Had she at any point of time indicated that the pre-christian cultures like Tamil had produced good human beings or has she stereo-typed the semetic view that all Tamils are infidels/heathens waiting to be civilised by the church sent white-missio'nari'es???
