I came across this 'Indian Terminology' quite recently in UK from Recruitment Agencies phoning me up and saying there is an 'Opening' coming soon near you area,...etc. It took me while to work out they were actually saying that there is a 'Job vacancy' coming your area !

I guess the Britsih needs to get used to such 'Terminoligies' !

Troubleshoot issues related to workstation join domains and user profile migration to Microsoft Windows;
Ensure complete migration of all user workstations from Novell Netware to Microsoft Windows including user profiles;
Perform User Acceptance Test on all user workstations to ensure users are able to perform day to day task post migration and get a sign off to indicate completion of user migration;
Ensure adhere to detail steps as per activity plan while performing user desktop migration;
Update migration progress and development to Project Manager on a periodical basis that will be notified;
Resolve and escalate issues to project core team in a timely fashion;
Deploy to client sites nationwide to perform migration activity.
