RSS Feeds beta - now available!
RSS feeds are now available for all forums on the Hub..!
Introduction
Well.. What is RSS? Many web sites and weblogs (blogs) update often with new stories and posts. If you track news/posts from multiple online sources or need to stay informed on specific subjects, it’s a challenge to keep up with all the latest news and most recent updates. RSS provides the answer. It helps to bring all the latest from your favorites sites/forums at one place so that you need only to check one place for all the updates.
On The Hub, suppose you have a few favorite forums and would like to receive the updates regularly. Just open your RSS feed reader and subscribe the respective forum feeds. That's all! You'll start receiving the updates regularly (frequency at your control).
I don't have an RSS reader yet. Where can I download?
There are many. E.g. you can try Feedreader: http://www.feedreader.com/ . All Hub feeds have been tested to work with this reader.
Ok, how to subscribe to my favorite forum(s)?
We haven't officially put up the 'Subscribe' links yet. Just testing. Here are a few links to try out:
Subscribe to:
Indian Food
Tamil Films
Misc Topics
Hubbers Lounge
IR albums
ARR albums
If clicking doesn't work, Right click on the link and 'Copy shortcut'. Then Paste it as a 'New feed' in your RSS reader.
Pls try and post comments..

Cool!! It works with google and "mozilla sage". Is it like we can see the recent discussion under each of these topics? and the maximum number of post is 25?
Is it possible for us to choose one particular thread and follow that alone?

Thanks. Good to know it works with your readers!
thamizhvaanan,
It brings you each new post as an item. I don't think it groups into topics (but each post will have the topic title). On the no of the posts, the default is 25. Need to configure that.
rocketboy,
If you like Atom feed, just add "&atom" to the URL. As simple as that!

Thanx RR for the reply . I just now saw the other sticky title "firefox extensions for Hub". Thought i could add on to what you have posted already, but unfortunately that thread is locked. So I am posting it here, so sorry for this malpractice

Hi all,
Now you can get feeds for topics too!
First, go to the topic/forum you want to subscribe to.
* Click on the feed icon [html:f766618608] [/html:f766618608] on the address location bar in your browser.
* Select your rss reader, and click 'Subscribe now'. Alternatively, you can copy the URL and add it to your favorite rss reader.
That's it!
