"Taste of India" in London (293 - 295, High Street North, Manor Park, E12 6SL) - one of the best South Indian restaurants I've been to in London. They do have other branches, but this particular branch is the only one I've eaten at - and it's a Pure Vegetarian branch (I understand they do non-vegetarian stuff at their other branches).

The food is quality, the restaurant itself is spacious, neat, tidy, hygienic, staff are prompt, polite, and very professional.

    The world's 50 best foods

By CNN Travel staff • Updated 14th March 2018

#49: Masala dosa, India- The world's best pancake?

A crispy, rice-batter crepe encases a spicy mix of mashed potato, which is then dipped in coconut chutney, pickles, tomato-and-lentil-based sauces and other condiments. It's a fantastic breakfast food that'll keep you going till lunch, when you'll probably come back for another.

#25: Butter garlic crab, India - As hot and as tasty as it looks.

#1: Massaman curry, Thailand - One more reason to visit Thailand.

Emphatically the king of curries, and perhaps the king of all foods. Spicy, coconutty, sweet and savory.
