Many of our members requested this song for the meaning.
This is a compositon said to be written by Shri Purandaradasaru, but experts are of the opinion that this is
a composition (tatvapada = Moral poem = Philosophical song) of Shri Sarpabhushana Shivayogi of 18th Century with signature 'gurusiddadeva'.
Some of the words in the lyrics indicate that it is 'tatvapada'.
Audio by Amit Poojari (sung as Vachana/tatvapada by Sri Sarpabhushana Shivayogi)

Meaning of the song:
“Philosophical receipe”
This song needs elobarative explanation to understand the essence of the lyrics.
I am trying to give hereunder word to word meaning of the song with simple English,
which is not enough to explain in detail.
All of you (nIvella) experienced (anubhavigaLu) members join together (kUDi)
to make (mADi) a receipe (aDugeya/aDigeya) of 'Experience' (anubhaava da)
(Here 'anubhava/anubhaava' is not just 'experience' a lot more expressions in it - here is a link to
Swami Dayananda Saraswathi's detailed explanation mostly suitable to word 'anubhaava'.
http://www.avgsatsang.org/hhpsds/pdf/Anubhava.pdf)
clean (toLedu) the earthen pot (bhAMDava) named 'body' (tanuveMba)
remove (kaLedu) the stinking dirt (musureya) of fickle (chaMchalaveMba) mind (keTTa manada)
Freshen up with new soul/body (ghanavAgi maneyannu baLidu)
put-up (alli) shining (minuguva) three-charector (triguNada) stones (guMDaniTTu) to make stove (ole)
(triguNa - Three characters - sathva, rajassu, tamassu - Olden days they used to make stove with
three stones to prepare food by burning fire-wood)
wear the fresh cloths (maDiyuTTu) of non-attachement (viraktiyeMbuva - viratiyeMbuva)
pour the water (nIrannesariTTu) named 'devotion/Haribhakthi'(haribhaktiyeMba)
give (koTTu) the fire (beMkiya) of knowledge/intellect (ariveMba)
delightly (mudadiMda) burning (suTTu) fire-wood (kAShTava) of envy/arrogance (mAya/madaveMba)
collect (hUDi) the things/matter (sAmagri) like compassion/shield (karuNeyeMbo/sharaNeMbo)
prepare (mADi) the food (pAkava) named renunciation (mOkSha parikaravAdaMtha)
the prepared food should be enjoyed (savidADi) by all teacher/devotees (guru sharaNaru)
praise (koMDADi) our (namma) PURANDARA VITTHALA (puraMdara viThalana) without fail (biDade)

Interesting dialogue: (by Shri G V Iyyer)
When dance programme was going on Guru will enter the temple premises.
Guru (Udayakumar) will object the proceedings happening infront of GOD RANGANATHA at SHREERANGAPATNA temple.
Guru is not happy with improper dance and music with wrong notes in front of GOD in the temple.
Balakrishna (Mrudagam player) try to justify his action and scold back Guru.
Dancer (Leelavathi) also tease Guru.
Narasimharaju offers shruti box (tambUri) to Guru.
Guru rejects the offer of Narasimharaju and says:
Spectacles are needed for blind persons. Those who are unfit to recognize the notes, they should depend on shruti box.
When tune is mixed with sound, body will become shruti box with 3 strings (trikaraNa - body, speech and mind) and produce correct notes. At our will, all the seven notes will come to obey our order to play the music. I will show that 'NAADA BRAHMA' and 'VEDA BRAHMA' both are same. Please sit and watch.

(On the day of Nagara chaturthi/panchami, it is a ritual that women used to pour the milk on anthill or
on the stone sculpted with snake god - is known as 'tani ereyuvudu')
Let our elder/younger brothers (aNNatammadira) be live with happy/cool (taNNagirali bennu udara)
(bennu – back-side of the body, udara - stomuch)
Mother's relation-ship (tAyi karuLu) should never be strained (nOyadiraleMdeMdu) who brought us on this earth (kAya nIDida)
