Test Cricket or One Day Cricket?
Cricket is one of the few games that has two versions in which the game is played.. The shorter version (one-dayers) are fun to watch but its usually a run fest and importance is given to things like fast running , better fielding, all-rounders and wicket to wicket bowling.. The longer version (test cricket) is more conventional with teams choosing 5 specialist batsman, 5 specialist bowlers and a wicket keeper and sometimes 6 batsmen, 4 bowlers and a keeper..
Both the versions are interesting to watch in their own ways.. Which one do you like the most? I'm a big fan of test cricket because its a mixture of everything, Patience, Perseverance and class... Anyone can become a hero in one-day cricket, but for test cricket you need stuff... Its great to watch games going back and forth & teams having time to think about the day's play and come up with a game plan for the next day... Oneday cricket is great too, but at times it becomes a slug fest and bowlers have no room for error or experiment..

Before going for the topic.Let me put one question.I feel Cricket is an unfair game! The pitch is not stable.Toss descides your fate! Dont you think its quite absurd? For example take the match India Vs Srilanka Worldcup semi-fnals 1996.Pitch was slow in the second half and it was bowler friendly. In the afternoon it was batting friendly! So Srilanka was the winner obviously.Again, similarly do to the dew factor tha game would turn into the favour of batting side in some pitches!Dont you think it is biased? Take any other game.. Tennis,Soccer etc pitch remains the same its the players skills will emerge not their luck. Can anybody answer me this.
