Keeping "original title" in mind, I thought it would be a new to TFI plot, a Hit & Run case, but the trailer seems to be about Kidnapping.
Yes, its immpressive eventhoug I have seen only 2 films of Siddarth (Boys & Stricker), am looking forward to watch this movie (in Chennai). Seems there are darker and negative shades to his character. Kay Kay Menon seems to be giving his Black Friday act, only here he has a factured hand. Nothing more to say until watching the movie.
You must watch 180 - poetry in motion
Starring sidhardh and my gf
OK, noted ... neerparavai + 180 are on my list.
Correction : Not 2 but watched 3 movies of Siddarth : include Ayudha Ezhuthu
[Didn't get a chance to watch Anaganaga O Dheerudu & Midnight Children - later lost interest to look for these movies]
Off Topic but related to Siddarth : Was seeing his Filmography - Is Sindar C making a movie with him titled "Theeya Velai Seiyyanum Kumaru" ?
Yes. Half the shoot is complete. Hansika is the female lead.
Udhayam NH4 is directed by debutant Manimaran, a former associate of Vetrimaaran. The film features Siddharth and newcomer Ashrita Shetty in the lead roles. Vetrimaaran has written the script, done the screenplay, and also penned the dialogues for this film. The film's soundtrack and background score were composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. The film is expected to release along with a Telugu version in February 2013.
The film will be set against the backdrop of the National Highways leading to Bangalore. Initially the film was named Desiya Nedunchalai, but this name was already registered by Powerstar Dr. Srinivasan, which hence lead to the renaming of the title to Udhayam NH4. Vetrimaaran’s favorite actor Kishore is playing a pivotal role in the film, while Kay Kay Menon plays the antagonist, making his debut in Tamil cinema. Debut actress Ashrita Shetty was selected to play the lead female role. Ramya will appear in a cameo appearance in the film. Velraj is the cinematographer and editing will be by Kishore Te. The film will be produced jointly by Dayanidhi Azhagiri and Vetrimaaran as a tie-up between their companies Meeka Entertainment and Grass Root Film Company. On February 14, 2013, the first film trailer was released at Sun Music.

Maalai Pon Maalai is plain and simply SUPER GVP delivers again. I honestly didn't think GVP had it in him to compose such honey coated charanams
I am surprised that you think that way....
GVP seems to be the most consistent MD for now
There's no doubt over his consistency and I had just dropped a compliment for him i.e. Maalai Pon Maalai probably has the best charanams compared to the rest of GVPs songs. When I saidI meant I was surprised at the fact that he is the only current gen MD outdoing himself with every release ;) After a rustic Paradesi and AKKV, here we having back in his Urban form. Personally, I like his rural and classical songs more :musicsmile:Quote:
. I honestly didn't think GVP had it in him

By seeing the first look poster of this movie, the expectations become very high.Hero Siddharth looks quite different in this movie. Highlights of this movie:
1.The suspense scenes will be highlight for this movie.
2.Siddharth’s realistic acting will be highlight of this movie.
3.The scenes between Siddharth and the police officer will be highlight.
4.Song’s and G.V.Prakash back ground music.
5.screen play will be the highlight of this movie.
Finally the movie will be a big feast to everyone.
Fairly decent movie, oru dhaba paakalam. surprisingly Siddharth was good.
Lip synch was bad for most part of the movie.Felt like dubbed version.
Havent heard the songs before and nothing registers as well. Biggest plus for this movie was run time, it was around 2 hours.
After watching gouravam this was a relief.
Everything that went wrong in gouravam was good here.
Single line story but the screenplay keeps you abdorbed.
The police guy was excellent.
The others did their parts well especially the fat friend :rotfl:
1st half was speedy while 2nd half slowed down fir a while before picking up to the climax.
I didn't like the ending though.
Verdict: go watch it without reading any story reviews.
I had to google to see who is this :)

He is the police guy I mentioned above. Excellent!
In the first scene he looked like a comedy police :sigh2: but after that he was menacing and quite good.
