We always bitch and moan about how unoriginal TFI filmakers are. Well, check this out
It's Complicated.
Many times I am compelled to say that Meryl Streep is the NT of Hollywood, in terms of consistency in performance and her prolific outputs. This film is a testimony that if you take her out of a mediocre so-called rom-com, the films would be aweful. With a simple story, the entire film depended on her, even with Alec Baldwin (a competent guy) and a sober Steve Martin (stop aping Sellers!). And she looks so gorgeous without too much makeup or plastic gorgeous, at 60 nonetheless.

Watch it if you have all the time on earth!!
Appadina? Boring? Very long?
Boring. This is the umpteenth film made in Hollywood on the same subject.
Okay, explains why I never heard of it in the first place.
Stone - 'meh' film, could be watched for scenes with Mila Jovovich (hell yeah!)
Ed Norton - getting streamlined to same sort of performance these days. Must get back to form..
De Niro - plays a complicated character. Plays it on back foot. Restraint & well pitched.
127 Hours:clap:
