Yeah, US alone Opening weekend (Tamil + Telugu) = $7,37,569. Sorry for that. Please share, if you (or any hubber) have canada weekend numbers for Vish.

Ajith's Arrambam has turned out to be a box-office success not just in Tamil Nadu but also in overseas markets. In the USA, Arrambam is now the 5th biggest grosser among all Tamil films, just behind landmark films such as Enthiran (1.6 Million USD), Vishwaroopam (1 Million USD), Sivaji (600,000 USD) and Dasavatharam (500,000 USD).

As on Saturday, 9th November, Arrambam has grossed 369,150 USD (2.3 crores approx) from reported screens. Arrambam's US gross is higher than other recent biggies such as Thuppakki (364,000 USD), Thalaivaa (260,000 USD) and Singam 2.

In other overseas markets such as UK, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Australia, Arrambam has met with a similar grand welcome from the audiences.

Fair enough Siv ji and BM. Since I was following the Thuppakki numbers during its release, i had a vague memory of that 575k+. Never knew they had US+Canada numbers put together nor had a chance to read the recent Atmus reply that BM posted. :)
