I just happened to watch this completely last night. Not sure if anyone else shared this, but I truly loved the part where Kamala theatre owner talks about Vijay and his movies. As a Vijay fan, I felt good after listening to stuff that he said. Some key things that I remember :
1. A Vijay movie is NEVER a risk. The debate or conversation is always around how big a hit it will be. If the movie is good, it's gona end up like a Thuppakki. .even if it's an average one, it ll run better than most others' movies.
2. If it's a Vijay movie, the audience is not one sided (his words), but men, women, entire family comes out to watch his movies.
3. He also said a Vijay movie is like a festival. ..and he quoted that within 13 minutes of opening the online booking, 2 shows get completely sold out for his movie.
4. The comment I liked best was when the host asked..how is a Vijay movie compared to others...to which he said...Vijay movie gets a massive opening which even others get..but what makes it different is the longevity..i.e. a Vijay movie will sustain even after 10 days (through the 2nd Monday) due to his fanbase.
If you guys haven't seen it, you should watch it. I think his section starts around the 1hr 2minute mark in this video. Felt great to watch and listen to it as a Vijay fan; that too coming straight from a theater owners mouth makes it so impactful.
Cheers!!!
Ya very great to see Kamala Theater owner spoke very highly about Vijay !!! No wonder Vijay's the delight of theater owners..

Fresh from the success of Vadacurry, actor Jai was caught in a very frank conversation with a popular magazine. When he was questioned about his ambition as an actor, here’s what Jai had to say –

The young actor started his career as Vijay’s brother in Bagavathy and here he is, with an ambitious mission. Here’s wishing him all the luck for his career.

JAI WANTS TO BE THE SUCCESSOR OF ILAIYATHALAPATHY VIJAY
Every hero always want to be in top spot and it is also common that everyone want to become number one in their respective profession. Now the latest is that Jai has said in an interview that he wants Vijay's spot in the industry.
Jai says just like Ajith, Vijay, Vikram and Suriya, now actors like Dhanush, Simbu and Arya are in the race, in that case he wants Vijay's spot. Jai has acted with Vijay in Baghavathi and always share a great rapport with him.
Jai is currently expecting the release of Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah and he is also busy with Valiayavan which is being directed by Sarvanan of Engeyum Eppothum fame. http://cinemalead.com/news-id-jai-wa...-07-145475.htm
There are quite a few intros of Vijay which have been powerful, but to me, this is one intro that just cannot be replaced.
The fiery title card, his early morning 'jog', the way he picks out the water pocket, opens and splashes it on this face, the 'dum...........terrific intro.
