kugan nga :-) glad u enjoyed a few of my fav songs :-)
Found out about this old Spanish song from a friend who is a fan of the artist Frida Kahlo...her art to me is still too much out there...but the song "La Llorana" (the weeping woman) is beautiful...
The version I have here is sung by Chavela Vargas and it has many versions being an old folk song...

Wiki Article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/La_Llorona
I will share one version...because the lyrics are so poetic and melancholy:
They all call me the black one, Weeping Woman,
The black one but the loving one,
They all call me the black one, Weeping Woman,
The Black One but the loving one,
I am like the green chili, Weeping Woman
Spicy but delicious,
I am like the green chili, Weeping Woman,
Spicy but delicious,
You were coming out of the temple one day, Weeping Woman,
When by passing by you caught my attention,
You were coming out of the temple one day, Weeping Woman,
When by passing by you caught my attention,
Beautiful you were,
The Virgin I thought I saw,
You say I have no pain, because you never see me cry,
There are the dead who do not cry,
and their sorrow is much greater than mine,
There by me, Weeping Woman, Weeping Woman, Weeping Woman, Take me to the river,
Cover me in your shawl because I am dying of coldness
Because I love you, you want for me to love you more,
I have already given you my life, Weeping Woman,
What else do you want?

Today Dec 16th is the Birthday of the most talented and gifted musician of all time, Ludwig van Beethoven. He was born on this day in the year 1770.

Hail the genius!! Let's celebrate by enjoying HIS most distinguished 9th symphony conducted by "Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra". :notworthy: :notworthy: :notworthy:

PS: I totally forgot about this in the morning, I apologize. Little late in celebrating (He was baptized on Dec. 17th), but better late than never.
Today in of our local FM station in Detroit named WRCJ - 90.9, featured whole day with Beethoven classics. Absolutely mindblowing!!. This station focuses only on western classical music and Jazz. They call it 'Classical Days and Jazzy Nights'.
My favorite radio station always when going and coming back from work.
For listeners around the world they have their own site: http://www.wrcjfm.org/
They have valuable archives of old featured programs.
Recently I loved hearing film classics:
