Have you listened to "for whom the bell tolls" by metallica? One among the finest metal songs ever :musicsmile:Quote:
Sanatarium by Metallica
Infact, there are too many songs from metallica to list, guess I will start a new thread on them :redjump:
Iron maiden - Fear of the dark, blood brothers
movie : RATCHAGAN
song : KANAVA ILLAI KAATRA
http://www.raaga.com/channels/tamil/movie/T0000319.html (kaiyil midhakum nu word irukum)
a very nice melodious song, which tells about love and its a good situational song... mainly, the lyrics... kettune irukalam nu thonum...
"nilavil porugal idai izhakum
neerilum porul idai izhakum
kaadhalil kooda idai izhakum, kandu konden unnidam"
"thaimai kaadhal irandu mattum baaram enbadhai ariyadhu
un palingu mugathai parthu irundhal pasiyum valiyum edukathu"
romba arumaiyana lines... kettu paarunga...

sipi,
there is another bit song in Ratchagan starting 'Pogum Vazhiyellam Kaatre'. donno if it was in the movie at all, was in the cassette. this is more of a tune oriented song.
Pipeline by California Guitar Trio.
The same music was used in one ad jingle (Wrigley's chewing gum if I remember correctly )a few years ago.
'Comfortably Numb' my Pink Floyd
Amazing melody.... and the guitar solos towards the end are just AWESOME!!!!
Metallica's "Whisky in the jar" is good but the original (actually originally its said to be an Irish folk song) by Thin Lizzie is better...
My picks from Metallica:
Whisky in the jar
The Unforgiven
Nothing Else Matters
One
Wherever i May Roam
Enter Sandman
I Disappear
Turn The Page
Phantom Lord [Been a long time since i heard this but if im not wrong this is the fastest song i've ever heard]
Any Eric Clapton fan here?....
Have you ever listened to "Battery" by metallica? That is Fast!!! But somehow Phantom lord has eluded my collection :confused2:Quote:
