good nite guys..
oh crap..........
It's sad , but again listed in top four is no mean an under achievement. Congratulations to Randy Newman! it seems he has been nominated twenty times and this is his second award.
Better luck next time Rahmanji...
I am enjoying the show.
I expected with enthusiasm. that's ok.
Winning is something but it is not everything.
Rahman's winning attitude & his modesty is something charismatic.
Everybody thinks he is AWESOME
good luck, next time.
vinatha.
:( Pochi..better luck next time
ARR might have lost out on the awards, but he definitely gained a place in the audiences' hearts with the AMAZING performance on stage. "If I rise" was just breathtaking! You couldn't have made us more proud than this Sir! :)
All the best for next year Rahman sir :D
No need to feel sad.. BTW.. great performance by ARR on stage :)
Performance video anyone?
Its indeed a disappointment. Better luck next time Sir!

I missed it last time since I was on a plane. This time I was all prepared and had goosebumps/tears of joy when 1. They announced ARR's name for original score 2. When they played a music bit from (R.I.P?) 3. When they announced his name again for original song 4. When he performed - What an amazing performance, easily the best among the four. But the final disappointment was too much to handle for me. I had no intentions of turning the TV off without watching the whole thing and leaving the stunning Hathaway in the middle but I did as soon as they announced TS3 for original song. Now I have found a reason to hate TS3.
Anyway five times nominee, twice winner is certainly no mean achievement. Please continue to make us proud
:anandakanneer:
even i was kinda prepared for the disappointment, but i was more prepared for the enjoyment.

we can say it was an unlucky sunday for indians.
I knew he will not win the score (WTF is so great about TSN score, I don't get it. Inception was much better, don't remember much of HTTYD score). But I was expecting If I rise to rise above the other mediocre songs. And after watching him soulfully perform If I rise with such precision and concentration, not seeing him take the award almost brought me to tears. Me and wife were verichifying the TV for a couple of minutes before turning it off.
