No, on the contrary, this was a film which was not liked (or was widely criticised) because the viewers insisted on "understanding" it! I thought this was a dreamy stream-of-consciousness film which isn't interested at all in setting up the viewer to "decode" it. Beyond a point, it becomes just impossible to distinguish the real from the surreal, but there's an overall sense to it regardless.Quote:
