3. The most important comment, which I hold as the most significant, is what Puru says about Raja surprising the musicians themselves. He says that when he (Puru)views a scene, he thinks he knows what sort of BGM will happen for this scene. Only to find Raja giving a totally different type of score. This is in line with what Raja keeps expressing, that he wants to do things differently every time. Those who claim that Raja has lost his creativity or that he doesn't innovate need to listen to this segment. Surprising the music unaware audience like us in one thing. Surprising musicians, that too musicians who have been playing with him for a long time, is not an easy thing and according to Puru, Raja does this often.
Puru comes across as very gentle, down to earth person, with absolutely no airs. What I liked is that fact that even while talking about the current trends he is not bitter. He accepts that these are things which cannot be avoided. A very nice chat.
