என்னடா புதிதாக ஏதேதோ செய்யப் போகிறோமே, மக்கள் ரசிப்பதற்குப் பதில், சிரித்து விடுவார்களோ என்று நினைக்காமல், துணிந்து வித்தியாசமாக நடித்த விதம் தான், அவரை மற்ற நடிகர்களிடமிருந்து வேறு படுத்திக் காண்பிக்கிறது. எவ்வளவு தான், புதிதாகச் செய்தாலும், பாத்திரத்தை விட்டு விலகாமல், மாறாக, அந்தப் பாத்திரத்தையும், அந்த கணத்தையும், அந்தப் படத்தையும், மேலும் மெருகேற்ற இவர் ஒருவரால் தான் முடியும் போலும்!
I agree with you 100%. He did that sort of experimental things in many films. NT delivered an award winning acting in 'Padithal Mattum Pothuma'. Story, dialogues, songs, music and casting were excellent except NT's wig. He could've just left it without wearing a wig though. NT was lucky enough not to have receding hairline! He didn't have to wear wigs in many of his movies, I feel. I particularly liked the scenes when he goes to see the girl, his brother was going to marry and spoke to her with his limited English! and then After Savithri advised him of women like about their husbands praising them all the time and then there he went on singing 'Naan kavignanum illai!! (He says to Savithri; "sari ini naan veliya theruva pokaama, avalai varnichchukitte irukken!") Funny!
