In Abirami complex,Veeram has been given an additional show in Robot bala abirami(removing Jilla)..special shows have been cancelled for both the films and someone has updated that our film has been removed from Abirami main screens :D and in Kamala,looks like friday(Jan 17th only) online booking is not opened for our film and they have updated that our film has been removed .. :mrgreen: :-D pavam they are trying their best...

குடும்பம் குடும்பமாக தியேட்டருக்கு வந்து படம் பார்க்கும்படி ஒரு கதை பண்ணுங்க என்று சிறுத்தை சிவாவிடம் அஜீத் சொன்னதையடுத்து, அவர் உருவாக்கிய கதைதான் வீரம். காதல், செண்டிமென்ட், காமெடி என ஒரு ஜனரஞ்சகமான கதையை தயார் செய்த டைரக்டர் சிவா, சிறுத்தையைத் தொடர்ந்து தமிழில் இரண்டாவது ஹிட் கொடுத்துள்ளார்.

வீரம் படத்தில் அஜீத்துக்கு பெரிதாக ஒன்றும் பஞ்ச் டயலாக் கிடையாது. என்ன நான் சொல்றது என்பார். அந்த வார்த்தையில் பெரிதாக எதுவுமே இல்லை. என்றபோதும், அஜீத் சாதாரணமாக பேசிய அந்த டயலாக்கூட அவரது ரசிகர்களால் பஞ்ச் டயலாக்காக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளப்பட்டு விட்டது.

இதையடுத்து ஒரு காட்சியில், தனது வீட்டில் சமையல்காரராக வேலை செய்யும், அப்புக்குட்டிக்கு திருமணம் நடைபெறும்போது, மார்க்கெட்டில் உள்ள தனது கடை ஒன்றை அவர் பெயருக்கு எழுதிய பத்திரத்தை அவரிடம் கொடுப்பார் அஜீத். அப்போது, அனைவருமே ஆச்சர்யத்துடன் அவரை பார்க்க, நம்மகூட இருக்கிறவங்களை நாம பாத்துக்கிட்டா கடவுள் நம்மளை பாத்துக்கிடுவார் என்று ஒரு டயலாக் பேசுவார் அஜீத்.

இந்த டயலாக்கை முதலில் படத்தில் எழுதவில்லையாம் டைரக்டர் சிவா. ஒருநாள் ஸ்பாட்டில் இதை அஜீத் சாதாரணமாக பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தாராம். அப்போது இது ரொம்ப நல்லாயிருக்கு படத்தில் ஒரு காட்சியில் வைத்துக்கொள்ளட்டுமா? என்று கேட்க, ஓகே சொல்லிவிட்டாராம் அஜீத். அதையடுத்துதான் சரியான இடத்தில் அந்த டயலாக்கை வைத்தால் சிறப்பாக இருக்கும் என்று யோசித்து, அப்புக்குட்டிக்கு உதவி செய்துவிட்டு பேச வேண்டிய இடத்தில் அந்த டயலாக் இணைத்து விட்டாராம் சிவா.

ஆக, இதேபோல் அஜீத்தின் நிஜ கேரக்டரின் பிரதிபலிப்பும் வீரம் படத்தில் ஆங்காங்கே பல இடங்களில் இடம்பெற்றிருக்கிறதாம்.

Veeram's first 4 days box-office gross total across India

Ajith is generally known to be a star who generates great openings for all his films and his latest Veeram is no different. After playing anti-hero roles in quite a few of his recent movies, he has turned into the brave 'son of the soil' in Veeram and this has generated the required positive response from not only Ajith fans but also family audiences. Santhanam's wise-cracks have also kept the mood vibrant in theaters and the trade is happy with the opening weekend.

After its first 4 days, Jan 10th to Jan 13th, Veeram has reportedly grossed around 31 to 32 crores from all over India, according to authentic sources in the trade.

In Tamil Nadu, the film is steady throughout with a circuit like Coimbatore seeing an increase in screens on the very second day, thanks to the positive opening on Day 1. With the big Telugu release, Mahesh Babu's 1: Nenokkadine not performing up to expectations, Veeram has received a shot in its arm in terms of extra shows and screens in the state.

The film is expected to keep the cash registers ringing thanks to the positive word of mouth prevailing among the majority of the audience base./

AJITH'S OWN DIALOGUE IN VEERAM

The dialogues in Ajith's Veeram got rave reception from both critics and the general audience. Recently actor Bala (director Siva's brother) who acted as one of the brothers of Ajith in Veeram has revealed that they have used Ajith's real life words as a dialogue in the film.

Yes during Veeram shooting director Siva and others had a conversation with Ajith on his kind gesture of building house on his own expenditure for employees who have worked with Ajith, during the conversation Ajith told them " If we fulfill the needs of the people surrounding us then God will take care of us" (Namma Suthi irukravangala Naama Pathukitta, Kadavul Nammala Pathupaar) .

Director Siva was very much impressed with the dialogue and he placed the same in Veeram where Ajith helps Appukutty by gifting him a shop during the marriage scene.

Ajith's "Veeram" and Vijay's "Jilla" have performed exceptionally well at the Chennai box office.

Both the films took a bumper opening in its first weekend. However, "Veeram" outperformed "Jilla" in Chennai and raked in better collections.

According to Behindwoods, "Veeram" grossed ₹3.04 crore from 741 shows in and around Chennai whereas "Jilla" raked in ₹2.72 crore from 714 shows. Both the films had average theatre occupancy of 97 percent during the opening weekend.

Movie start and Intro awesome and classy . Thala looks really gr8 in salt and pepper . but after that , santhanam enters , comedy nga perula same kind of dialogues mudiyalaa . Tamanah got a good break after a long time but she started looking old :( .Second half , though masala but fully enjoyable except again comedy . This time thambi ramaiah joins with santhanam . Songs are nice but some songs DSP again suttufied from his old album .Again Climax fight superb .

One more time claps to thala thala thala...

Movie could have been much better if comedy was reduced ....

அஜித்துக்கு ரொம்ப நாளைக்கு பிறகு கிராமத்தை மையாக்கி ஒரு படம். கோட், டை, கூலர்ஸ், ரிவால்வர், பி.எம்.டபிள்யூ என க்ளாஸ் லுக்கில் பார்த்து பழகிய அஜித்தை வேஷ்டி, சட்டை, அரிவாள், மாட்டு வண்டி என கிராமத்துப் பின்னணியில் வீரத்தமிழனாக களத்தில் இறக்கிவிட்டிருக்கிறார் இயக்குனர் சிவா.
மதுரை ஒட்டன்சத்திரத்தில் தொடங்கும் கதை, மதுரை காவேரிப்பட்டினத்தில் முடிகிறது. ஒட்டன்சத்திரத்தில் தானிய கிடங்கு வைத்திருக்கும் விநாயகம் அஜித். இவருக்கு விதார்த், பாலா, முனீஸ், சுகைல் என நான்கு தம்பிகள். இவர்கள் ஊருக்குள் எப்போதும் அடிதடியோடு வீரமாக சுற்றிக் கொண்டிருப்பவர்கள். இதற்காகவே போலீஸ் கேஸ்களை கவனிக்க வக்கீல் சந்தானத்தை குடும்ப வக்கீலாக வைத்திருப்பவர்கள். தான் கல்யாணம் செய்துகொண்டால் தம்பிகளை பிரிந்து விடுவோம் என திருமணம் செய்யாமல் வாழ்கிறார் அஜித். ஆனால், தம்பிகள் மூன்று பேர், சந்தானம் என அனைவரும் காதலில் விழ, எப்படியாவது அண்ணனுக்கு திருமணம் செய்து வைத்தால்தான் நமக்கும் திருமணம் நடக்கும் என தம்பிகள் திட்டம் போடுகிறார்கள். அதனால் தமன்னாவையும், அஜித்தையும் காதலிக்க வைக்க படாதபாடு படுகிறார்கள். அதோடு அடிதடிக்கு பேர் போன இவர்களுக்கு எதிரிகளாலும் சில பிரச்சனைகள் முளைக்கின்றன. கடைசியில் தமன்னாவுடன் அஜித் கைகோர்த்தாரா? எதிரிகளை அஜித் என்ன செய்தார்? என்பது மீதிக்கதை.
கிட்டத்தட்ட 54 படங்களில் அஜித் நடித்திருந்தாலும் இந்தப் படத்தில் தான் முழு படத்திலும் வெள்ளை மனிதராக (வெள்ளை உடை, வெள்ளை மனம், வெள்ளை முடி) வலம் வருகிறார். இப்படி தோன்றவும் தனி தைரியம் வேண்டும். எந்த உடையும் தனக்கு பொருந்தும் என்பதற்கு இவர்தான் உதாரணம். சண்டைக்காட்சிகளில் அதகளம் பண்ணுகிறார். அபார உழைப்பு. ரயில் சண்டையில் உயிரை பணயம் வைத்து நடித்துள்ளார். மற்ற படங்களில் மிச்சம் விட்ட காமெடி, சென்டிமென்ட் போன்றவற்றை இந்த படத்தில் பிடித்துள்ளார்.
படத்தின் முதல் பாதியில் முதுகெலும்ப்பாக வருகிறார் தமன்னா. அஜித்துக்கும், இவருக்கும் பொருத்தம் ஜோர். பாடல் காட்சிகளில் கவர்ச்சி, குளிர்ச்சி. மற்ற காட்சிகளில் குடும்பப்பாங்கு. நடிப்பதற்கு பெரிதாக வாய்ப்பில்லை. மூன்று வருட இடைவெளிக்குப் பிறகு தமிழில் நடிக்க வந்தாலும் அவருடைய அழகை இன்னும் கூடுதலாகவே ரசிக்க முடிகிறது நம்மால்.
தம்பிகளாக விதார்த்துக்கும், பாலாவுக்கும் நிறைய வாய்ப்பு. மற்றபடி சுகைலும், முனிஷும் படம் முழுக்க வந்தாலும் நடிக்க வாய்ப்பு குறைவுதான்.
சந்தானம் கலகல காமெடி. ‘என்றென்றும் புன்னகை’ படத்தைத் தொடர்ந்து மீண்டும் தன் திறமையை நிரூபித்துள்ளார். வழக்கமான நய்யாண்டித்தனமான காமெடி என்றாலும், சிரிப்புக்கு கியாரண்டி தருகிறார். நாசர், தம்பி ராமையா, பிரதீப் ராவத், அதுல் குல்கர்னி, ரமேஷ் கண்ணா, இளவரசு என படத்தில் ஏகப்பட்ட நட்சத்திரங்கள்.
தனது வழக்கமான தெலுங்கு மெட்டுக்களை வைத்து வீரம் படத்தில் இணைத்துவிட்டார் தேவிஸ்ரீ பிரசாத். பின்னணி இசையில் அஜித் ரசிகர்களின் பாராட்டை பெற்று விட்டார் இவர். வெற்றியின் ஒளிப்பதிவு வெற்றிவாகை.
பிரதீப் ராவத் அஜித்திடம் நீ என்ன சாதி டா என்று கேட்க அதற்கு அஜித் “என்னை என்ன சாதின்னா கேக்குற… நீ தேவர்னா நான் தேவர்… நாடார்னா நான் நாடார்.. தலித்னா நானும் தலித்… அய்யர்னா நான் அய்யர்.. எனக்கு எந்த மதமும் இல்ல… நீ எப்படிப் பார்க்கறியோ அப்படித்தான் நான்! என்று சொல்லும்போது விசில் பறக்குது தியேட்டர்ல.
அஜித் ரசிகர்களை மட்டுமல்லாமல் ஒட்டுமொத்த குடும்ப உறுப்பினர்களையும் திருப்திப்படுத்தும் வகையில் ‘வீரம்’ படத்தை கொடுத்திருக்கிறார் இயக்குனர் சிவா அஜித்தின் உதவியுடன்!

It is to be noted that even Arrambam's Australian box office was tremendous. Sources say that Ajith has a huge fan base in Australia and the makers might increase the number of prints for upcoming Ajith films.
