Highly consistent since their readmission in 1991, S Africa look set to dominate the test scene - finally getting what they deserve
As they steamroll paper tigers India for the nth time in south african style, let's celebrate this great team

Dale Steyn - the premier Fast bowler in the world today. He is bound to rip India apart repeatedly in this series. I'd be surprised if he has 4 bad inns in this series
Morne Morkel - Underrated but effective partner to Steyn.
Kallis - - words fail me to describe his greatness. He is Sachin plus Dravid plus Kapil
Amla - superstar batsman. The best Indian origin batsman in the series, including current Indians
Devilliers - he will hurt India hard. Daredevilliers will be a handful
Prince - the wall of South Africa
Boucher - the best keeper-batsman in this series
Harris - he may not be the best spinner in the series(Harbhajan would be) but he'll do a good job for SA
Man for man SA is better than India
Gambhir vs Smith - With no Zaheer, the difference is huge, and Smith will steam roll Gambhir's record in the series
Sehwag vs Petersen - Looks lop sided - but in favour of petersen contrary to popular belief. Sehwag went for zero and why not? He is not going to succeed with his arrogance and he has reached the same stage as in 2006, believing that he is infallible. A huge thud down to earth awaits in this series. Meanwhile, Petersen will go about his job unobtrusively, piling on misery for India
Dravid vs Amla - Amla by a mile. Dravid will be forced to retire after an average performance or below that in this series. Amla will rise a few rungs up the ladder
Sachin vs Kallis - even without the bowling arm, Kallis will overshadow Sachin. In addition, he will chip in with wickets. Cameos like yesterday are all Sachinc an hope for - that, too, difficult
Laxman vs Devillierrs - no contest. Lax will be lucky to score a few runs in this series, forget half centuries and centuries
Raina vs Prince - :rotfl: - no comments
Dhoni vs Boucher - the one contest which India can shade, perhaps.
Bhajji vs Harris - again, India maybe have the edge here.
Steyn vs Ishant/Zaheer - The best fast bowler in the world vs good but not match winning bowlers. Again, SA are miles ahead
Morkel vs Sreesanth/Ishant - again Morkel is way above
Tsotobe vs Unadkat/Sreesanth - Tsotobe didnt have a great start but whoever replaces him or he himsealf will get better while India's third seamer will as usual be a joke
All in all, India better prepare mentally for a series loss.
All the gloating "new generation" hailing, "fearless youngsters" flaunting, "#1 in the world" supporters can hide their tail betweeen their legs and wait for the next series in India to show up in public.
The real champions - the proteas - are showing their mettle as the Australians are restoring the world order down under.
Indians can go back to their stone age after a brief reign at the top- an accident of history. :bye:
