Aayutha Ezhuthu/Yuva(one of my fav Mani sir films with all its flaws 8-) )..remember watching the hindi version twice from bangalore Rex first day evening show and then again the same night show, and the tamil version twice from kerala. Lallan Singh by AB Jr., one of my favorite perfos by any actor! 8-)

UPO thrice (one of the select few to watch a special show the night before release, a special show conducted by the Kamalji fans of CBE, and kindheartedly inviting n providing lalettan fans association, CBE, with 25 tickets of which i got one! awesome atmosphere, one of the best shows i've been to, chendamelam, crackers, dancing mast fun it was! one of the best moments was when kamal sets up his laptop n gear on the terrace, a fully sloshed die-hard kamalji fan in full glory shouted "ulaga vignyaani abdul kalaam-in aruma sishyan ulaga naayagan kamal hassan vaazhga!" it was around 12 midnight and the whole theater was :lol: . not that great a film, but a dream come true for a fanboy of both the legends, there were not much screentime shared, but WTH, it was my 'HEAT'!)

Alaipaayuthey thrice, VTV x 4, Paiyya x 3, Gentleman thrice, neraya movies twice including the latest endhiran which may go to 3 times by next week. that's all ur honor!

and yes, other languages, hindi-la Satya 5 times, Rangeela thrice, RDB thrice...and malayalam, almost all lalettan movies pre-2000 atleast twice in theater. long blade post, pls tolerate!

those r the larger than life ones of course, which came after their big predecessor, Aaraam Thamburaan (8 times!), so festival atmosphere for a fan...5 times in theater for both. but the most is Devasuram, which had Mangalassery Neelakantan, the iconic character of a majority of malayali youth of that generation...a good 12 times with hooting, whistling, dancing almost everytime, school mudicha time, waiting for results, fanship at its peak and this movie and the character 8-) ! and then the classic Manichithrathaazhu, 10 times in theater, and almost once in a month in dvd @home! page page-aa eluthuven! :D about Guna dvd watch, Kuruthippunal, Anbe Sivam along with lalettan film repeat dvd watch coz these weren't movies that ran much in theaters but has tremendous repeat value on tv/dvd. yenga, sagar alias jackey kooda kitta thatta 15-20 times aachu ootla :oops: !

yes raghav, the one i've got is moserbaer's combo pack with another lal rocker spadikam with Devasuram. but as it's a combo pack, it doesn't carry subtitles. am sure they've released it as a single dvd which will have subtitles option. matthapadi yaaraavadhu kovai pakkam vareenga, i'l b happy to lend, as i don't have many missing from lal/kamal collection :D

Also, language is not a barrier as I watch Tamil,telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, English and Hindi....as a movie critic lately one watch is sometimes not enough for a detailed review.

Dasa : Seen the movie in Arakonam, Pondy, Mayajaal, Sathyam, Udhayam nnu with different people at different times including hubbers. The most viewed in theaters. Till 50 th day. Every time terrific response with people applauding towards the end credits all the times. I am yet to see such a appreciation for other movie.

2. I am against their movie selection in the past several years and not against them. :think:

3. Kaathalukku Mariyaathai movie liked by almost everyone during those time and Pretty natural for a college boy to watch that movie repeatedly. Still i like that movie is a different thing. Even i had a T-Shirt like the one Vijay used in "thaalaatta varuvaalaa" song. :oops:

4. Kaathal Mannan i liked during those times. I have soft corner over him and now too.
Well saw Kaathal Koattai also 2 times in theater.

Regarding being a fan..

I was a fan of MGR(political also included) and Kamal alone. Like Rajini and Shivaji all time.
There is difference between liking and being a fan.
There are different people i like during different times..
