NTM was 100 days movie. Magazines appreciated the role of chandrasekhat and roopini in the movie.

Vinatha: My statement that "most" of his great songs were in "flop" movies was an overstatement! Of course he sang in a large number of great movies in all languages; but some of his greatest songs were in movies that flopped commercially. Examples in Hindi are "chasmE buddoor" (great songs, but the movie was not a commercial success); "aalaap" (one of the very few, if not the only Amitab Bacchan movie that was a commercial disaster); "saawan kO aanE dO" (seven fabulous classical songs sung by Yesudas, composed by the great Rajkamal, but the movie did not make much money); "apnE parayE", etc, etc. There are several such examples in other languages too.

The other movies that you listed were very popular indeed.

"engengu nee senRapOdhum..." is my favorite song from "ninaikka therindha manamE"! That is one of the songs that I have listened to the most, in any language! I even played it several times on my car stereo hoping that the other person in the car would listen to it!!! Whether or not that song had any effect on my personal/romantic life would remain a mystery; until you get a chance to watch the movie ; if and when I decide to release the movie for public viewing!!! :D

Tough choice actually. As Jai says, 'chinna chinna' is superb from the orchestration point of view and the tune is also equally good. 'kannuku kannku' is another gem which I listen to often. But I will go with raagadevan and vote for 'engengum nee'. This creates an ideal world all of us long for. Unlike raagadevan, I can safely say that it had no impact on my romantic life :)

An interesting screen play. It will be like Chandrasekhar- a story writer , who marries Roopini, , who is Mohan's x lover. As they travel by train, Mohan meets them accidentally. While Chandra has a running story which is very similar to Mohan-Roopini past , the end will be quite interesting !

A fair portion of the screen play is being covered through conversations on the train !

"எங்கெங்கு நீ சென்ற போதும்" பாடலைத் தேர்வு செய்திருக்கிறேன். இப்பாடல் ஹிந்தி தழுவல் இல்லை என்றாலும், "து ஜஹான் ஜஹான் சலேகா" என்ற பாடலின் வரிகளை, ஏறக்குறைய அதே அர்த்தம் வருவதால், நினைவு படுத்தும். பெற்றோர- பிள்ளைகளின் தூரம், காதலன்-காதலியின் தொலைவு, சகோதர-சகோதரி பாசங்கள், நண்பர்களின் தூரம் என அன்புற்ற நெஞ்சங்கள் அனைத்திற்குமான வரி.
