he is damn good.. he sang another song in Thotti Jaya (yaaridamum) which is a good one.. HJ used the telugu version KK (jyothika / asin solo i.e. instead of oru ooril) tune in this...

Yes Sarna.. I am :o that you are NOT aware of this... in one of his interviews, he was questioned about this song that why he himself preferred to sing that song... he told that he was reluctant to give this to any upcoming singer as the pitch was too high

Thotti Jeya song - yaaridamum thOndravillai idhupOl has been sung very well, and it is one of my favourites of HJ.

Stranded in the streets - in Nala Dhamayanthi is also a good composition. I like that song a lot. Kamal's rendition needs special mention. One of the rarely mentioned good renditions of Kamal.

One album I would like to mention that would probably invite scorn is Jerry. When I mentioned it last, people mocked me throwing "Devuda Kapildevuda" at me. But the album has 3 other damn good songs, with tight and lovely orchestration, and good singing.
