I used to enjoy Arjun Sarja movies in past, when he was on par with Vidyasagar. Now he uses D. Imaan for his movies (almost).

Ayutha Poojai is a great movie that no one talks about, Sentimental movie with great comedy delivered by Koundamani.

A look on one of Arjun's upcoming films Vaande Mataram:

Vande Mataram is a forthcoming Malayalam - Tamil film with Megastar Mammootty, Arjun and Sneha in the lead roles. The movie is a bilingual in Tamil and Malayalam. The movie will also be dubbed and released in Telugu. The film is directed by Aravind.D after a long time. He turned Tamil film industry to technology with well made films like Oomai Vizhigal and Senthoora Poove in the eighties. Even the producer, Henry is known for quality social films like Marumalarchi, Bharathi Kannamma and Pudhumaipithan before. It is slated for release by 2010.

Plot

Mammootty and Arjun are tough police officers. They analyse farmers struggle and related social violence to put forward an amicable solution to have lasting harmony. They are highly disturbed by the terrorists' infiltartions. Sneha, an Aviator, is Mammootty's wife and they are sad that they don't have a child. The rest of the story deals with how they counter act against the terrorists and save the land.

Production

The shooting started by the middle of 2007 and later on the story was modified due to some personal problems. It took 100 days of shooting and ten schedules to complete the movie. Mammootty and Arjun play the role of cops while Sneha is playing as a pilot. Then the story revolves around the investigation and how the heroes eradicate the terrorists from being entering the border. The audio launch was held on July 3, 2010 and the movie is expected by 2010 in both Tamil and Malayalam.

Amitabh Bachchan was approached to do a pivotal role in the movie, but as he was not able to allocate the call sheets, Nassar played the role. In 2007, A.R.Rahman was approached to score the music of the film. But during that time, he was busy with the composing work of Jodha Akbar. After deciding among composers like Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, Harris Jayaraj, Vidyasagar; the crew signed in D. Imman. A highlight of the film will be a patriotic song penned by Vairamuthu and the song rendered by ten popular singers. They are D. Imman, Harish Raghavendra, Vijay Yesudas, Haricharan, Naresh Iyer, Krish, Pop Shalini, Mathangi, Srilekha Parthasarathy and Chinmayi.
It is made under a oomphing budget of 14 crores. Stunts director for this movie is the renowned stunt director Allan Amin.
