Anushka to sizzle with Ajith in Gautham Menon flick? ARR MUSIC

While Veeram the multi starre flick of Thala Ajith is gearing up to release in just a week from now, news about the star's next film have started pouring in.

The untitled venture which marks the coming together of Gautham menon the master of romantic as well as stylish action flicks and Ajith Kumar will be produced by A.M.Ratnam after the stupendous success of Aarrambam and the film is expected to go on floors. The mega budget film will have music by double Oscar winner A.R.Rahman.



After getting to know the Director, Producer and Music Director of the upcoming film, Ajith fans are left clueless about the lucky lady to who will get to pair up with their Icon.

There were rumors floating that Pallavi Subhash the heroine of the untitled film starring Simbu that is being directed by Gautham menon at present will be the heroine of the Gautham-Ajith flick as well. There were also reports stating that Trisha, considered as one of the favorite heroines of Gautham Menon will pair up in this film with Ajith for the fourth time after Ji, Kireedam and Mankatha.

In the light of these conflicting reports, we at Indiaglitz tried clear the air on who would be the lead lady of the film which is going to be one of the most expected films in 2014 and the sources close to the film said that Anushka is most likely to sizzle with Ajith this time.

Ajith becomes a sought-after actor for directors

Ajith has become a most sought-after and in-demand actor in Kollywood after delivering hits in a row like Mankatha and Arrambam. Film projects are in-waiting for Thala Ajith. Ajith is ready to shoot for Gautham Vasudev Menon’s film in mid-Februray after the rlease of his Veeram during Pongal season. Well, it does not stop with Vasudev Menon. Anushka is likely to team up with Ajith in his next film to be directed by Gautham Menon. We hear that the actress has accepted the offer but is yet to sign on the dotted line. The project is underway with the director firming up the script and pre-production work going on in full swing.

A source close to the actress says, "Anushka has not yet heard the script, but has agreed to go ahead with it as it involves big names like Ajith and Gautham Menon. Currently, she is shooting for Rudhramadevi and Mahaabali. She will allot dates for this project during the breaks she gets between these two big-budget films, both of which have her in key roles."

When we contacted her spokesperson, he confirmed the development, saying, "Yes, Anushka has been approached by the makers for the Ajith-Gautham film. She has said 'yes' to it but has not yet officially signed it. Once things fall in place, she's likely to commence shoot for it from March."

So far, Ajith had always maintained that he would think about a new venture only when the one on his hands has been wrapped up. But now, he has entered into an agreement for three films in a row. While Gautham Menon’s film would commence in March this year, KV Anand has also got a go ahead from Ajith and their movie will go on floors later this year.

Arrambam's sentiment continues for Ajith - Gautham film too

Ajith's next film with director Gautham Menon is set to start rolling. An inaugural pooja of the movie will happen on the 6th of February, which happens to be a Thursday. Producer A.M.Ratnam is joining hands with Ajith again, after the success of Arrambam and he will be bankrolling this grand entertainer, where Anushka will be playing the female lead role.

A.M.Ratnam considers Thursday to be a lucky day for him and all the important events associated with Arrambam such as its music release and the movie release happened to be on Thursdays. The Thursday sentiment seems to have continued to this flick as well.

We will keep you posted with more in the coming days.

Director Siva has said that he would soon direct Ajith again after their last release Veeram turned out to be a blockbuster. The director, it is said, will be going on floors with this project in December this year and is currently working on the script for the Thala. Hmm....he appears trim, I hope he gets back his black hair for his next flick. 2nd this is a GVM movie and the musical is expected to be top notch, I hope he dances well which I think is a big missing arsenal compared to his contemporaries VJ and Surya!

It’s official – Ajith and Shankar to join hands

We have news from extremely reliable sources revealing that Shankar and Ajith are joining hands after Ajith wraps up the untitled Gautham Menon project. As opposed to the earlier reports, Ajith will not move on to the KV Anand project but will work with Shankar after the Gautham Menon flick. The GVM flick will go on floors in February and Ajith has requested Gautham to relieve him before December to go on to the Shankar project.

It was under superstar Rajini’s recommendation that Shankar decided on Ajith for this movie. The story was narrated to Rajini, who advised Shankar that Ajith will be suitable for the role. Big B, Amitabh is also said to be a part of this venture. The film’s official announcement will be out on the 14th of April.

After GVM, KVA then Siva ( No vishnu and VP now ). shankar will take more then 1 year. that is my only concern. Here after thala need to give 3 Movies per 2 years. Alteast for next 6 years

ARM wanted to direct Thala in his own production but Thala didn't want it so the project didn't take off. :) Not sure who is the producer for ARM-Vijay combination.
