Happy season, Vth place better than the wooden spoon. 14 played, 7 won, 7 lost. Out of 7 ... 3 and 4 in a row. What we missed was a good middle order and bowling. In general bowling was below par average comparing to the other squads. Despite all these we have shown some great character, shaken MI and KKR's a bit!

Hard luck 19th. In the end, teams better with collective play went through. Surprisingly, mumbai has been the worst among them in terms of team consistency. Chennai have clearly emerged as deservers. Kolkata, too. I feel saarug or mallya might get some desserts this year

During yesterday match, the actress mentioning that the hot weather of southern cities chennai, hyd made her not travelling along with the team for some matches. It becomes common to witness many (commentators, players, spectators) comment on humid weather. I think they do have a point. Weather is an important factor to sit and watch a game for 3 hours. Even for playing on field. IPL seasons should be scheduled during june and july or later months. Excess of humidity dull one's energy, focus and interest.
