Director has begun work on Avan Ivan, a film that will be quite different from the rest of his films. Here are a few details that we have gathered about Avan Ivan.

Avan Ivan is a full length comedy flick, something that Bala has never attempted so far.

The film has two heroines to pair up with Arya and Vishal.

One of the heroines has been selected. It is Janani Iyer. She was a model before entering into movies.

While for Naan Kadavul, Jayamohan had penned the dialogues, S Ramakrishnan has been roped in for Avan Ivan as Bala feels he would be perfectly suitable for this subject.

ஒரே ஷெட்யூல். நாற்பந்தைந்து நாட்களில் முக்கால்வாசி படத்தை முடிப்பேன் என்று சவால் விடாத குறையாக தென்காசி போன பாலா, போன வேகத்தில் பேக்கப் சொல்லிவிட்டு சென்னை திரும்பிவிட்டார். மொத்தம் 18 நாட்கள்தான் படப்பிடிப்பு நடந்திருக்கிறது. அதற்குள் பாலா பேக்கப் சொன்னதற்கு காரணம் என்னவாக இருக்கும்? தலையை பிய்த்துக் கொள்கிறார்கள் யூனிட்டில்

படத்தில் நடிக்கும் முக்கிய ஆர்ட்டிஸ்டுகளுக்கு கூட காரணம் புரியவில்லையாம். ஆனால் 'அவன் இவன்' தரப்பிலிருந்து கசிகிற தகவல் இதுதான். ஆர்யா வரவில்லை. அதனால்தான் இந்த பேக்கப்! உண்மை அதுதானா, அல்லது வேறு ஏதாவதா என்பதெல்லாம் நமக்கெதற்கு? இந்த படத்தில் விஷாலின் கெட்டப் நந்தா சூர்யாவை ஞாபகப்படுத்தும்படி அமைந்திருக்கிறது.

ஒட்ட வெட்டிய முடி. கிட்டதட்ட மொட்டை தலை எபெஃக்ட்! அடர்த்தியான தாடி என்று பார்ப்பதற்கே படு பிரமாதமாக இருக்கிறார் விஷால். கண்களில் கான்டாக்ட் லென்ஸ் இல்லையே தவிர, சற்றே உயரமான சூர்யாவாகவே மாறியிருக்கிறார் விஷால். இந்த படம் முடியும் வரை கெட்டப் ரகசியமாக வைத்திருக்கப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதற்காகவே எந்த விழாக்களிலும் கலந்து கொள்ளக் கூடாது என்று இவருக்கு தடை போட்டிருக்கிறாராம் பாலா.

Ace director Bala is going full steam shooting his Avan Ivan starring Arya and Vishal in the lush never seen before locations of Kutralam in southern Tamil Nadu.

Bala whose films take years to complete has now taken an oath that he will complete the film under eight months! The buzz is that he has promised the producers AGS Entertainments that he will deliver the censored first copy of the film on or before December 31, 2010.

During the first schedule of the film in Tenkasi, the rumour mill had it that he hardly shot one scene a day, which irritated the cast especially Vishal. Now he is starting the shoot every day from early in the morning along with cameraman Arthur Wilson and has been able to complete two or three shots a day.

The first heroine of the film is new girl from Chennai Janani Iyer. Now in the second schedule Bala has picked one more heroine Nivedita, earlier seen in Kadhai and Porkkalam. S Ramakrishnan and Bala are jointly writing the script.

After Pitamagan where he had Vikram and Suriya as friends, in Avan Ivan Arya and Vishal plays brothers and have equal footing. Janani Iyer plays a police officer and is rumoured to be Vishal’s pair. These days, Bala’s ‘Avan Ivan’ is making high waves for various reasons. Firstly, it’s all about his newly surprising ability to complete the shooting schedules on time. According to the closer sources, Bala is fast on the heels of completely first schedule by next week.

Featuring Vishal and Aarya in lead roles, actress Janani Iyer was signed to star opposite the duo in female lead.

Now the latest buzz is that Bala and his associates have started looking out for the second heroine. If what we heard from the closer sources is believed to be true, then actress Madhu Shalini has more chances of being finalized for this project.

இயக்குநர் பாலாவின் படங்களின் காட்சிகள் என்னவாக இருக்கும்... எப்படி வரும் என்றெல்லாம் யாரும் அத்தனை சுலபத்தில் தெரிந்து கொள்ளவோ, செய்தியாகத் தரவோ முடியாது.
