Suriya to host Kaun Banega Crorepati Tamil


Its official!

Actor Suriya will be hosting Neengalum Velalam Oru Kodi, with the tagline- ‘A question can change your life’ the Tamil version of Kaun Banega Crorepati on Vijay TV!

Kaun Banega Crorepati popularly known as KBC is a reality game show based on the UK game show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? which offers a cash prize of Rs 1 Crore.

The show which is extremely popular in India, thanks to Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan now comes down south with top actor Suriya playing host.

Suriya, who is known for his friendly approach and interactive nature, is super excited about his first appearance on a reality game show on small screen.

Neengalum Velalam Oru Kodi will go on air from February 2012

His friendly attitude and interactive skills would be a treat to watch in a reality show like this. And I also appreciate him for breaking the norms. Sharukh carries himself really well in media's eye. I have always felt that he has got a good presence of mind in handling question by media. While there are occasions like his jokes at filmfare functions have been really unfunny, he has got a good sense of humour.

True ! and he is well read and that was quite visible when he hosted CBK. The additional information he gives for each question and answer was a proof that he was on top of it and he commanded great control with his friendly and pleasant manners. KBC was a revival for him.
As with all concept-based TV programs I got bored in no time. So I have no idea about later seasons.
Shah Rukh podhuvA spontaneously witty guy. Like his intrees etc. in small, well-spaced portions. But didn't like him in KBC because I felt it became more a dance-and-fun than dikkinified-erudition feel that Bachchan gave to the program. I remember the focus, atleast in the first season, being about the questions. Then it became more human drama (talking to celebrity in between the questions, human moments etc.)

Surya - no chance of comparing to them.

In general Surya was good in the film. But I have to blame RGV here. He totally lost the plot in the 2nd film and drifted away from the original story. His slow-mo off stunt scenes was such a put off. Not to mention his voice over also.

காலேஜ் நாட்களில் உங்க பாட்டு டிவியில வந்தாலே உங்களைப் பார்க்க ஓடோடி வருவோம். உங்களை எனக்கு ரொம்ப பிடிக்கும். உங்க கூட டான்ஸ் ஆடிக்கிறேன். இதெல்லாம் என்ன வென்று பார்க்கிறீர்களா? நீங்களும் வெல்லலாம் ஒருகோடி நிகழ்ச்சியில் பங்கேற்கும் பெண்கள் நடிகர் சூர்யாவிடம் பேசும் வார்த்தைகள்தான் இவை. இன்னும் சில நாட்களில் நிகழ்ச்சியின் டிஆர்பியை கூட்டுவதற்காக ஒரு இளம் பெண் சூர்யாவை முத்தமிட்டாலும் ஆச்சரியப்படத் தேவையில்லை. இவற்றை பார்க்கும் போது தமிழ்நாட்டுப் பெண்கள் எந்த அளவிற்கு முன்னேறிவிட்டார்கள் என்பதை கண்கூடாக தெரிந்து கொள்ளலாம்.

சூர்யாவோ, ஆர்யாவோ எல்லோரும் திறமையான நடிகர்கள்தான். கருத்து கந்தசாமி ரோலை இவர்கள் ஏற்று அதை நம்மீதே நங்கூரம் பாய்ச்சும் போதுதான் பிரச்சனை வருகிறது. நான் விளம்பரத்தில் நடிப்பது ஏழைகளுக்கு உதவ என்றொரு ரகசியத்தை சூர்யா வெளியிட்டது நினைவிருக்கலாம். ஏதோ பொது நலத்துக்காகதான் இவர் விளம்பரத்தில் கஷ்டப்பட்டு நடித்து கோடிகளில் சம்பாதிக்கிறாராம். வருடம் முழுவதும் பார்த்தால்கூட இவர் மற்றவர்களுக்கென்று தருவது சில லட்சங்கள்தான். இதனை படத்துக்கு பதினைந்தும் இருபதும் கோடிகள் வாங்குகிற இவரால் தர முடியாமல் எக்ஸ்ட்ராவாக விளம்பரங்களில் நடிக்கிறாராம். கேட்கிறவன்... பழமொழிதான் நினைவுக்கு வருகிறது. (இப்படி ஒரு விமர்சனம் வைக்கும் போதெல்லாம் அவங்க அதையாவது செய்றாங்க உன்னால அது முடியுமா சும்மா மூடிட்டு போ என்று சில பிபி காரர்கள் கேட்பதுண்டு. மாதம் மூவாயிரம் சம்பாதிக்கிறவன் முப்பது ரூபாய் தானம் வழங்கினால் போஸ்டரா அடிப்பீங்க? வருடத்துக்கு இரண்டு படம் என்றால்கூட சூர்யாவின் சம்பளம் 30 கோடிக்கு மேல் வருகிறது. அதாவது மூவாயிரம் லட்சங்கள். இதில் அவர் பத்து லட்சத்தை தானம் செய்தால் பெரிய பராபகாரியா?)

பொதுநலனில் அக்கறை உள்ள நிறுவனங்களின் விளம்பரங்களில் மட்டுமே நடிப்பதாக இன்னொரு பம்மாத்து. சரவணா ஸ்டோர் என்ன பொதுநலனில் அக்கறை காட்டுகிறது? படிக்கிற வயசில் இருக்கிற தென்மாவட்டத்து பிள்ளைகளை அள்ளி வந்து அடிமாட்டு சம்பளத்துக்கு வேலைக்கு வைத்திருப்பதில் என்ன பொதுநலன் இருக்கிறது. விளம்பரத்தில் நடித்து ஏழைகளுக்கு கல்வி தருகிறேன் என்று சொல்லும் சூர்யா அந்தப் பிள்ளைகளுக்கு முதலில் கல்விக்கு ஏற்பாடு செய்யலாம். குறைந்தபட்சம் நல்ல கழிப்பறை வசதியாவது செய்து கொடுக்கலாம். கதவு உள்ள ஒரேயொரு டாய்லெட்டுக்குப் பின்னால் ரேஷன் கடை க்யூ போல அங்கு வேலை செய்யும் பெண்கள் நிற்பதைப் பார்த்தால் பாவமாக இருக்கிறது.

சமீபத்தில் நடந்த மாற்றான் பிரஸ்மீட்டில் ஒன்றரை வருடம் ரொம்ப கஷ்டப்பட்டேன் என்றார் சூர்யா. யாரோ இவரை கிட்நாப் செய்து கல்குவாரியில் கொத்தடிமையாக கல் உடைக்க வைத்த மாதிரி. பணம் கிடைக்கிறது, புகழ் கிடைக்கிறது நீங்க நடிக்கிறீங்க... யாராவது உங்க வீட்டு முன்னால் நடிக்கலைன்னா தீக்குளிப்பேன் என்று கெரசின் டின்னுடன் போராடினார்களா? மாதம் பதினைந்தாயிரத்துக்கே திக்கித் திணறும் பத்திரிகையாளர்களின் மத்தியில் பதினைந்து கோடி வாங்கிக் கொண்டு கஷ்டப்பட்டேன்னு சென்டிமெண்ட் பேசும் போது சுரீர்ரென்கிறது.

இதே பிரஸ்மீட்டில் காக்க... காக்க, கஜினி எல்லாம் கொஞ்சமா ரிச் லுக் கொடுத்து நடித்தாலே செட்டாயிடும், மாற்றான் அப்படியில்லை. கேரக்டரை உள்வாங்கி ரொம்ப கஷ்டப்பட்டு நடித்தேன் என்றார். இந்தப் பல்லவியை அனேகமாக எல்லா நடிகர்களும் பாடியிருக்கிறார்கள். ஒரு படம் வெளிவரும் போது அந்தப் படத்தை உயர்த்திப் பிடிக்க அதுவரை நடித்ததெல்லாம் சும்மா இதுதான் உலக பெஸ்ட் என்று இவர்கள் விடும் பீலா இருக்கிறதே... இதே சூர்யா கஜினி சமயத்திலும் இதேதான் சொன்னார். காக்க.. காக்க நேரத்திலும் இதே பல்லவி. அடுத்து சிங்கம் 2 வரும் போது, மாற்றான்கூட ஈஸியா நடிச்சிட்டேன் சிங்கத்துக்குதான் சிதறி சின்னாபின்னமாயிட்டேன் என்பார். :rotfl2: வார்த்தை மாறி பேசிவிட்டாய் சிவமைந்தா என்று யாராவது அறம் பாடிடக் கூடாது பாருங்க.
