WATCH Kaverree Maangal starring actress Sithara on Jaya TV at 8.30pm Monday to Friday

Sandhya the elder daughter in law of Venketesh' family along with the contribution of the family members take a decision to get Balaji's second brother Vivek married to a middle class girl called Madhavi who they see and fix later realizing that she will be the apt person for Vivek. The third brother Arun has already been spoken to get married to Sandhya's younger sister Viji. They decide to conduct both the marriages together.

Meanwhile Gayathri Vivek's boss's daughter who is in love with him but has not disclosed her love so far, gets shocked hearing about this and tries to commit suicide and her father stops her and later she confesses to her father Chakrabani about her love for Vivek. Chakrabani immediately decides to talk to Vivek about it and Vivek tells him that unfortunately he wasn't aware of Gayathri's love as they were very good friends only and that now since his betrothal is almost fixed he cant take any decision and that they would have to only talk to his family about it. Chakrabani immediately decides to do so.

Madhavi on the other hand along with Sandhya's sister Viji has been invited by Sandhya to their house to select their wedding saris and jewels. Madhavi is very excited about her wedding and goes around showing off Vivek's photo to her friends saying that she is getting married in a well off family and that everyone loves her very much there. Her friends envy her future.

The next day Chakrabani along with Gayathri comes to Venketesh's family and discloses the matter and asks for Vivek to marry his daughter. The family is taken aback. Gayathri takes Sandhya separately and begs her telling her that she has attempted suicide and without Vivek she cannot live. While the family members are dumbstruck not knowing what to do, Sandhya asks Chakrabani to give them sometime and that she will come up with a good solution for the matter.

The next day Sandhya requests Balaji to accompany her to Madhavi's house. Sandhya tells the matter to Madhavis' house and conveys her decision of getting Vivek married to Gayathri and when the family is shocked and they talk about Madhavi's future, she tells them that whatever set and done Madhavi is definitely the daughter in law of their family and that she plans to get Madhavi married to Arun. Hearing this Madhavi and her family are flabbergasted along with Balaji. She tells them to think about it and tell her a favorable reply. Madhavi's mother tries to convince her about getting married to Arun but Madhavi being strong willed girl denies it and tells her mother that tomorrow if a situation arises that Arun too is in love with someone else then the family might throw her out of the house and she does like to be treated like a bouncing ball. Madhavi's friends make fun of Madhavi telling her that all rich family treats middle class girls this way and that if she did have to marry Arun she will be only treated like a slave in that house as Sandhya will always have an upper hand in that family. Hearing this Madhavi develops a dislike and vengeance towards Sandhya as she was the deciding authority and the sole responsible person for this confusion. Madhavi decides to get married to Arun and enter into that family and break everyone's respect for Sandhya and send her to the streets and embarrass her the same way she was embarrassed and to create a dislike for Sandhya amongst the family members and to separate her away from that family.

Sandhya's mother in law is astonished hearing Sandhya's decision of getting Vivek and Gayathri married and to get Madhavi and Arun married, as she has always had a soft corner for Viji, a little bit more than Sandhya. Everyone else agrees for Sandhya's decision knowing that it is the best for the family except for Sharadha. She tries to convince the family members saying that she want Viji as her last daughter in law, but all in vain. Knowing that no matter what she does this wedding will take place, Sharadha tales a hasty decision of leaving the house and going away to an old age home. When everyone in the family convinces her to come back she tells them that until and unless everyone decides to get Viji married to Arun she will never come back into that house and she also shows a strong hatred towards Sandhya as she is the main cause for all this confusion. Hearing this Viji also dislikes Sandhya.

Four women lives are at stake, Gayathri, Madhavi, Viji and Sandhya. What is Sandhya going to do now?

How is she going to set things back to normal in her family again?

Will she win back the love of her mother in law?

Who gets married to whom now?

Sharadha is admitted in the hospital after trying to commit suicide as she does not want Sandhya to get Madhavi married to Arun. Sharadha stubbornly only wants Viji who is Sandhya own sister to become her last daughter in law. To spoil the image of Sandhya, Sandhya's sisters husband Moorthy mixes poison in the food which Sandhya had cooked that is to be delivered in the hospital to Sharadha. On the other side Muthupandi's first son creates a good image on Divya who is the last daughter of Venketesh and slowly makes her fall in love with him and unknowingly Divya too falls for him. To continue giving further damages to Venketesh's family, Muthupandi sets Vikram to attack another female who is closely related to Venketesh's family.



Who is that female and what happens to her?

Episode - 32

Gayathri tells her father that Sharadha has gone to the old age home and he consoles her telling all will be well soon.

All talk in Venketesh family about Sharadha being there and that something must be done soon.

Moorthy tells about Sharadha being in the old age home and Viji leaves immediate to see Sharadha.

Viji sees Sharadha and requests her to go back but Sharadha tells her that unless they accept Viji as Arun’s wife she will not go.

Madhavi gives her mother the bank receipt book after she deposited the money on her brother and mother’s names and tells them that she will never let them down.

Divya sees a car window and adjusts her hair and Muthupandi and Vikram get down from the same car and she gets shocked.

Sandhya tells Balaji that somehow Sharadha must be convinced and brought back as this is not good for the family.

She also justifies why Madhavi has to come to the house as the daughter in law and not Viji by saying that Venketesh has given the word to Madhavi.

Muthupandi’s sons, Sunil and Vikram both tell Muthupandi that they are there to take fort for their father. Muthupandi tells Sunil to cheat Divya by falling in love with her and making her reciprocate intern as this way he can take revenge on Venketesh's family by spoiling the lfe of his last daughter.

When Nateshan gets ready to go out Moorthy irritates him by asking him where and why he’s going out and he gets irritated and scolds him and goes out.

Rowdies disturb and eve teases Divya while she’s on the way to the college and Sunil comes that way and shoos them away and stops Divya from crying and takes her with him on the bike.

Sandhya requests Venketesh to go see Sharadha and bring her back to the house.

All are tensed whether he will go or not.

Moorthy sees Nateshan taking a lot of money and coming out of the ATM and when e asks Nateshan about the money he scolds him and goes away.

Madhavi’s mother tells Madhavi to pray to God that her marriage with Arun must happen very smoothly.

Sunil informs his father about the love that Divya has for him. Gayathri asks her father if he has fixed the date for their wedding.

Vikram murders a person who was disturbing his father and Muthupandi tells his men to dispose the body.

Venketesh asks Sharadha to come home from the old age home but she tells that she will only come if Viji marries Arun and he scolds her and tells her that she need not come home at all in that case and that Madhavi and Arun’s wedding will definitely happen.

When Venketesh comes home all ask him about what happened there and he does not know what to tell them.

Episode 35

Venketesh lies to the family saying that Sharadha accepted for Madhavi and that she will come home soon.

Arun meets Madhavi on the road and he tells her he will drop her at work and she goes with him and Vikram sees this.

Sunil tells Vikram and his father that the people who teased Divya was set up by Sunil.

Sandhya comes to visit Madhavi and talks to her mother and her about the invitation and the other preparation for the wedding.

Sharadha thinks about how Venketesh spoke to her and feels very bad about it and thinks that she has been very embarrassed by all of them and she must not live.

Sharadha swallows a lot of sleeping pills and falls down.

Episode 36

The in charge from old age home called and informs about Sharadha being in hospital.

Vikram comes home urgently and leaves and Muthupandi’s men follow him when he goes out and they find out about Vikram following a girl.

Moorthy tells at home about Sharadha being in hospital.

Madhavi puts budget for her wedding and informs home that she got 50,000 loan.

Venketesh and family visit Sharadha t the hospital.

Chakrabani and Gayathri get shocked when they hear about Sharadha being hospitalized.

Episode 37

Gayathri and Chakrabani leave to go to the hospital.

All from Venketesh family come to visit Sharadha.

Viji also comes too see Sharadha and Sharadha refuses to talk to Sandhya and asks for Viji to come inside.

Viji informs to her family that Sharadha is fine and both Viji and her father go to the hospital to visit her after Gayathri and Chakrabani leave from seeing her.

When all tell Sandhya to stay back in the hospital, Sharadha adamantly asks for only Balaji to stay back in the hospital and not any one else. Sandhya gets very hurt

Episode 38

Vivek tells Gayathri that because of wanting Viji to come as the daughter in law his mother had tried to commit suicide.

Madhavi meets her friend who advices her on her marriage. She tells Madhavi to keep Sandhya under her control by being sweet to her so she does not have any problems later on.

Gayathri tells her father about what Vivek had told her and she gets very worried about whether her marriage will take place.

Muthupandi sees Arun in the hospital when comes there for a check up.

Vikram picks a fight with Arun and Balaji pacifies them.

Sandhya fights with Viji when she comes to Venketesh’s house telling her that because of her selfishness she almost killed her mother in law.

Episode 39

Sandhya scolds Viji and sends her home.

Madhavi gets ready to go visit Sandhya after listening to what her friend had told her but her mother stops her and sends her home.

Muthupandi tells his sons that his bp shot up because of Venketesh’s family.

Sumathy and her mother in law meets Sharadha and Balaji and lies to them saying that Sandhya had told Viji to leave and go away somewhere for good as it is because of her that Sharadha is not accepting for Madhavi’s marriage.

Vikram informs his father about Sumathy’s visit to the hospital and the problems it is going to bring now.

Balaji goes to Viji’s house and stops her from leaving the house and going away and he also promises her father that no matter what happens Viji will surely be the last daughter in law of the family.

After Balaji leaves Sumathy, Viji and Sumathys mother in law laugh out loud saying that their plan and scheme worked out. It was their whole setup and drama.

Episode 40

Madhavi buys clothes for her wedding and comes home and tells her mother that if a situation comes to her after she enters Venketesh’s house for her to rule over that family then she will definitely do it. Hearing this mother advices her to not be so arrogant. .

Vikram teases Divya at the restaurant and Sunil beats Vikram and saves Divya. Seeing this she gets scared and warns Sunil to not pick a fight with Vikram as he is dangerous. She says all this to him not knowing that Vikram and Sunil are brothers and that they are doing this with a plan.

Nateshan tells Viji and all in the family that first Sandhya has to accept for this marriage no matter what anyone else says, as eventually everyone in that family will listen to her.

Balu uses the yellow cloth which his mother and sister had prayed to god and tied a coin in, to tie around his finger to stop the bleeding.

Seeing this his mother gets wild with him and beats him and tells them all that something bad might happen again.

Divya informs Arun about how Vikram had teased her in the restaurant.

Episode 41

Arun tells Divya to ask Sunil to be careful with Vikram.

Sunil puts medication for Vikram’s swollen wound and apologizes for hitting hard and Muthupandi is happy and tells that finally all is falling in to place to bring Venketesh’s family down.

Gayathri requests her father to meet Sandhya and family and fix the final dates and they both leave the next day to meet Venketesh’s family.

Sandhya consoles Gayathri when she cries telling her that Vivek does not speak to her properly.

Sandhya tells Vivek to treat Gayathri well and promises her that all will be fine soon.

Balaji tells his mother that he stopped Viji from leaving the house and Sharadha tells him that no matter what Viji must marry Arun and Balaji agrees.

Episode 42

Arun meets Madhavi on the way to the hospital and tells her that his mother is in the hospital.

Viji and Sumathy indirectly insult Madhavi when they see them in the hospital.

Balaji avoids Madhavi from meeting Sharadha in the hospital and sends her outside.

Viji cries at home telling her father about Madhavi coming along with Arun on the bike.

Madhavi informs her mother about Sharadha admitted in the hospital and that she tried to commit suicide.

Divya’s friend informs Divya about Sunil being in the hospital.

Sandhya gets shocked when Madhavi asks her why no one informed her about Sharadha being in the hospital.

Episode 43

Divya meets Sunil in the hospital while he pretends to admitted because he got hurt when hit the guy who was teasing her.

Madhavi tells her mother that she suspects that something is not correct in that family.

Vikram tells his father that Sunil is pretending to be admitted in the hospital to get sympathy from Divya.

Muthupandi tells him that Divya will soon fall in the trap of Sunil.

Episode 44

Madhavis mother dreams as though Sharadha stopped the wedding of Madhavi just before muhurtham and Madhavi tells her not to worry.

Balaji tells Sandhya that Viji was going to leave because Sandhya had told her to leave the city and Sandhya gets upset he also tells her that he promised Viji that the wedding will happen with Arun and her. Sandhya is shocked

Sandhya scolds Viji for telling lies and trying to spoil her image and Moorthy speaks bad about Sandhya linking her with her husbands brothers and she slaps him and Warns all of them and leaves.

Episode 45

Vikram tries to kill someone and Arun stops him and they have a clash n the road.

Gayathri tells her father that she is going to cook for Sharadha and take it and her father advices not to.

Balaji and Arun request Sunil to not fight with Vikram as he is very dangerous.

Madhavi’s mother tells Madhavi that she is going to go and visit Sharadha and Madhavi tells her to not go.

Muthupandi and Vikram go to hospital to visit Sunil and he gets upset and scared that Venketesh’s family might see them together.

Moorthy tells his in law about Sandhya hitting.

Vivek dreams as though a wedding for Arun is taking place but the girl is not seen properly as to who it is. Viveks dreams usually come true.

Episode 46

Sumathy and Viji complain to Sharadha about Sandhya hitting Moorthy.

Moorthy beats Sumathy when she insults him talking about getting slapped by Sandhya.

Vivek talks to Gayathri about the war that is happening between his mother and his sister in law.

Sharadha scolds Sandhya and sends her away when she brings food to eat and Moorthy watches this.

Episode 47

Arun gets angry and tells Sandhya that he wished his mother was dead because of the torture she’s giving Sandhya and hearing this Sandhya gets angry and slaps him and talks in praise of his mother.

Moorthy consoles Sumathy because of hitting her and she feels very bad and cries to him and later she gets consoled.

Divya feeds Sunil in the hospital as his right hand is hurt and he thinks about what his father had said about making Divya fall in love with him to take revenge on Venketesh’s family.

He’s happy thinking that she slowly is falling in love with him. .

Episode 48

Nateshan looks at the budgets and expenses and when Moorthy offers to help he refuses.

Muthupandi’s servant informs him about Divya feeding Sunil.

Moorthy mixes poison in Sharadha’s food which Sandhya had cooked by stopping the car when it is on the way to the hospital. He does this to take revenge on Sandhya .

Just when Sharadha is about to eat the poisoned food the driver gave her. Viji walks in to visit her and tells that she is hungry so Sharadha affectionately feeds her and Viji faints.

Moorthy informs at home like he does not know anything telling that Viji ate food nd fainted and all get shocked.

Episode 49

Balaji tells Nateshan about the poison In the food and Sharadha accuses Sandhya of mixing poison in the food so she could kill her.

Muthupandi sends his men to kill his enemy and his men call him back saying that they have escaped.

Gayathri and Chakrabani discuss about how the food could have been poisoned.

Madhavi speaks to her mother about the poisoned food.

Balaji informs Sharadha that Viji had survived.

Sharadha happy as Viji had survived. .

Sumathy tells Moorthy that if something had happened to Viji then she would have accepted mixing the poison herself.

Arun tells Viji that because there was poison in the food not to mistake Sandhya for it.

Viji goes home after being discharged and Sharadha refuses to go home after being discharged as she tells that if she comes home then Sandhya will murder her by mixing poison in food.

Episode 51

Balaji tells at home about sharadhas refusal to come home.

Viji comes home from hospital.

Madhavi talks to her friends about all problems in her in laws house.

Sunil gets discharged and goes home.

Venketesh promises sharadha that all will happen according to her only and ask her to come home and she agrees immediately telling him in that case Viji must marry Arun and Venketesh agrees.

Madhavi tells her mother that they can find out from gayathri about the problem in her in laws house and her mother says no.

Sunil meets Divya in the temple and tells she came to do archanai for him and she keeps kungumam for him.

Episode 52

Sharadha comes home after being discharged and Venketesh tells Sandhya that he promised Shardha that Viji will marry Arun and Sandhya gets shocked.

Natesan gets a chest pain and worries about everything that is happening around in the family.

Sandhya comes over to Madhavis house just when all the invitation is ready and the preparations are going on and with a heavy heart she informs them that the wedding will not happen

Sandhya goes to temple and lights a karpuram on her palm and cries to God asking him why has he created such a situation for her.

Episode 53

Sumathy watches Sandhya crying in the temple and she informs this in her house.

Madhavis mother comes home and Madhavi tells her about what Sandhya had told and they all start crying and Madhavis mother starts cursing Sandhya and just when she completely breaks down she get an attack and dies in the shock of her daughters wedding being cancelled.

Sandhya’s servant tells Sandhya about the death of Madhavi’s mother and she gets shocked.

Episode 54

Sandhya leaves to go see Madhavi’s mother but Shardha stops her saying that no one in the family must go to a death when there is a wedding soon to be happening in thouse and Sandhya says no matter what she will go as they are cause of this death. Shardha gets wild with Sandhya.

In Nateshan house they talk about Madhavis mother’s death and feel bad.

Madhavi scolds and screams Sandhya hen she comes for the funeral and sends her away.

Sharadha scold Vivek and Sandhya when they return back from the death for going there and coming back.

Episode 55

Gayathri tells her father about Madhavi’s mother’s death.

Moorthy tells Muthupandi about Madhavis mother’s death. Muthupandi fights with Arun telling him that his family is responsible for the death.

Madhavis friends tell her that Sandhya is the sole reason for her mother’s death.

Episode 56

Visalam mother of Neelu and Geetha sister of Neelu come from village in search of Neelu. Not knowing that Ranga who was set up by Gaythris father Chakarbani had murdered Neelu.

Moorthy watches Nateshan when he takes money out of the ATM. Visalam and Geetha enquire in the hospital about Neelu.

Moorthy tells Sumathy about seeing her father with money.

Madhavi thinks about her mother, Balu and her were happy when her mother was living.

Episode 57

Madhavi thinks of how her mother fed them Nila Soru.

Sharadha avoids Sandhya and talks to all about the preparation for the wedding.

Nateshan gets angry with Sumathy when she questions him about the money.

Visalam goes to Neelu’s office and enquires about her there. Madhavi watches Vivek and Gayathri joking around.

Sumathy’s mother in law tells them that she’s leaving and going and Nateshan consoles her.

Vivek asks Gayathri whether the wedding between them must happen as all the problems is because of them.

Gayathri gets shocked hearing this.

Episode 58

Gayathri gets upset with Vivek hearing his disinterest in the wedding. Nateshan gives Moorthy money before he goes out.

Devaki’s family s introduced and Nateshan gives that money to her.

Madhavis gets scolding from her manager as she does not concentrate on her work.

Visalam gives a complaint in the police station stating that Neelu is missing.

Sandhya tries to make everyone happy in the family and Sharadha refuses to eat the food cooked by Sandhya.

Madhavi tells her friends abut the scolding she got in the office.

Devaki gives her jewels to Nateshan for Viji’s wedding.

Balaji asks Sandhya as to why she is not showing any interest in his house wedding. Sandhya gets upset with Balaji saying that no one is under standing her.

Sumathy talks to Madhavi and brainwashes her head telling her all bad things about Sandhya.

Nateshan pledges Devaki’s jewels and gives it to Sumathy to keep it safe and Moorthy questions him asking him how he got the money.

The police constable informs Chakrabani telling him about Neelu’s sister and mother filing a complaint in the station looking for Neelu.

Madhavi thinks of her mother and her mother’s shadow comes and gives her courage.

Rowdies chase Visalam and Geetha and the police save them. The police make them stay in the female police station and enquire about Neelu.

Nateshan and family come to see Sharadha with Koora Sari and Thali. While they are there they completely ignore Sandhya.

Visalam and Geetha leave the police station saying that they are going to go back to their village.

Sumathy and Viji talk bad about Sandhya and Nateshan scold them.

Devaki’s daughter Lalli comes to meet Nateshan and he goes to meet Devaki and takes to hospital as she’s not feeling well.

Venketesh tells at home that if they are going to ignore Sandhya and conduct a wedding then he too will not be part of it.

Sandhya meets Gayathri in the temple and speaks to her and Madhavi sees this and gets angry.

Maangal - 62

Doctor checks up Devaki and tells her to relax and looks at Natesan and tells him that as a husband he needs to take care of her.

Divya invites Sunil for her brother’s engagement.

Muthupandi tells Sunil how he must behave when he goes to the engagement.

Visalam and Gayathri meet accidentally and she sees Neelu’s photo and gets shocked. She tells Gayathri to get in touch with her if she gets any information about Neelu.

The engagement between Viji and Arun and Gayathri and Vivek takes place and Sandhya stands away.

The engagement finishes.

Muthupandi irritates Madhavi by telling her about the engagement that is taking place in Sandhya’s house.

Viji helps Devaki on the road and later Nateshan tells Devaki that was his daughter.

Madhavi tells her brother about someone calling and informing her about the engagement in Sandhya’s house.

Balaji scolds Sandhya asking her why she stayed away during the engagement

Sunil informs Muthupandi that two wedding are going to take place on the same day in Venketesh’s family. Muthupandi intern says two deaths will take place in that family instead.
Break

Sharadha brings jewels and saris for her future daughter in laws and asks Sandhya to come along and she says no as she thinks only Sharadha should go as she is the elder. Sharadha gets angry at Sandhya saying she does not like this wedding planned by Sharadha that’s why she’s saying this and Sandhya immediately tells that she and Balaji will go to Gayathri and let them all go to Viji house. Sumathy informs all in her house about Sharadha planning to come home and all are happy.

Sunil cuts his hair neat and trim and tells his father that only then Divya will believe him more.

Rowdies inform Vikram saying that they saw Sharadha purchase jewels and going home.

Visalam and Geetha not knowing what to do decide to have some tea from a roadside shop. Visalam gets a heart attack and faints and Geetha gets very scared.

Sharadha and Venketesh bring jewels and other things for Viji.

Muthupandi discusses with his sons about legal and illegal businesses.

Sandhya and Balaji bring jewels and things to Gayathri at her house.

Geetha gets shocked hearing that the operation to cure Visalam will cost 1 and half Lacs.

Viji and Sumathy speak happy about the things Sharadha had bought for Viji and Nateshan tells that Viji too must get a good name like Sandhya and Sumathy gets angry hearing that.

The rowdies inform Muthupandi about Sharadha given Seer Varisai in Viji’s house and he plans.

Gayathri tells Vivek how Sandhya had come and given her all things and she is happy.

Sandhya and Divya get surprised seeing Sunil’s new getup and he says his father is very anxious to take revenge on their family.

Hearing this Sandhya is shocked.

Sharadha praises Viji to Balaji.

Madhavi gets into a fight with Balu after he tells her about the happiness in Venketesh’s family.

மண்டேலாவைக் கவர்ந்த "கவரி மான்கள்

ஜெயா டி.வி.யில் ஒளிபரப்பாகி வரும் "கவரிமான்கள்' மெகா தொடர், நேயர்களின் ஆதரவோடு 50-வது எபிúஸôடைக் கடந்துள்ளது. சித்தாரா, பிர்லாபோஸ், நிர்மல், உமா உள்ளிட்ட பலர் நடித்துள்ள இந்தத் தொடரைத் தயாரித்து இயக்குபவர் பிரபு நேபால். குடும்பத்தில் பெண்களின் முக்கியப் பங்கு, அவர்களுக்கு ஏற்படும் சவால்களை எதிர்கொள்ளும் வழிமுறைகள் போன்றவற்றை சென்டிமெண்ட் கலந்து சுவாரஸ்யமாகக் கூறுகிறது இந்தத் தொடர்.

தென் ஆப்பிரிக்காவைப் பூர்விகமாகக் கொண்ட இயக்குநர் நேபால் "கவரி மான்கள்' தொடரை ஆங்கில சப் டைட்டிலோடு தென் ஆப்பிரிக்கத் தலைவர் நெல்சன் மண்டேலாவுக்கு கடந்த மாதம் திரையிட்டுக் காண்பித்தார். தொடரால் வெகுவாகக் கவரப்பட்ட மண்டேலா ஒட்டுமொத்த யூனிட்டையும் பார்க்க விரும்புவதாக பிரபு நேபாலிடம் கூறியிருக்கிறார்.

இதையடுத்து ஒட்டுமொத்தக் குழுவும் கடந்த வாரம் தென் ஆப்பிரிக்காவுக்குச் சென்றுள்ளது. தற்போது அங்கு "கவரி மான்கள்' தொடரின் படப்பிடிப்பு நடைபெற்று வருகிறது. நடிகர்கள், தொழில்நுட்பக் கலைஞர்களுக்கு நெல்சன் மண்டேலா விருந்தளித்து கெüரவிக்கவுள்ளார்.

திங்கள் முதல் வெள்ளி வரை இரவு 8.30 மணிக்கு ஜெயா டி.வி.யில் ஒளிபரப்பாகிறது.

"கவரி மான்கள்' தொடரின் 100-வது எபிúஸôடு ஒளிபரப்பாகும் நாளில் சென்னை அரசு மருத்துவமனையில் பிறக்கும் அனைத்துக் குழுந்தைகளுக்கும் தங்க மோதிரங்கள் பரிசாக வழங்கப்படுகின்றன.

ஜெயா டிவியில் திங்கள் முதல் வெள்ளி வரை தினமும் இரவு 8.30 மணிக்கு ஒளிபரப்பாகி வரும் `கவரி மான்கள்' தொடர் 100-வது எபிசோடை தாண்டியிருக்கிறது.

தொடர் இனி எப்படிப்போகும்? இயக்குனர் பிரபுநேபாலைக் கேட்டால்...

"வெங்கடேஷின் பாசமான குடும்பத்தில் உறவுகள் ஒன்றுக்கொன்று பின்னிப்பிணைந்த நேரத்தில் விஜி தான் மருமகளாக வரவேண்டுமென சாரதா பிடிவாதம் பிடிக்கிறாள். மாதவியை சந்தியா அருணுக்கு மனைவியாக்க நினைக்க, சாரதா இதை எதிர்க்க, விளைவு மாமியார்-மருமகள் மோதலில் முடிகிறது.

முத்துப்பாண்டி விரித்த சதி வலையில் விழுந்த விஜி, அவர் மகன் விக்ரமனால் கெடுக்கப்படுகிறாள். இதனால் தன் தங்கையாக இருந்தாலும், பிள்ளைபோல் கருதும் மச்சினன் அருணுக்கு விஜி வேண்டாம் என்று சந்தியா சொல்ல, குடும்பத்தில் பிளவு தொடங்குகிறது.

இருமுனை தாக்குலில் சந்தியா



ஜெயா டிவியில் திங்கள் முதல் வெள்ளி வரை தினமும் இரவு 8.30 மணிக்கு ஒளிபரப்பாகிவரும் கவரிமான்கள் தொடர் 150-வது எபிசோடை எட்டவிருக்கிறது.

சாரதாம்மாள் குடும்பத்தில் மூத்த மருமகள் சந்தியா வந்த பிறகு அவள் வைத்தது தான் சட்டம். ஆனால் இது அதிகார சட்டமல்ல. அன்புச்சட்டம். தன் அன்பாலும் பொறுமையாலும் குடும்பத்தின் ஒட்டு மொத்த உறுப்பினர்களையும் தன் வசப்படுத்தி விடும் சந்தியாவை அவள் மாமியார் சாரதாவுக்கு ரொம்பவே பிடித்துப் போகிறது.

இதனால் இளைய மகன் அருணுக்கு திருமணம் செய்ய முடிவெடுத்தபோது சந்தியாவின் தங்கைதான் தன் மருமகளாக வர வேண்டும் என்று விரும்புகிறாள்.

சாரதாவின் உறவினர் முத்துப்பாண்டிக்கு இது பிடிக்கவில்லை. விஜியும் அந்த வீட்டு மருமகளாகிவிட்டால் சந்தியாவின் செல்வாக்கும் கூடிவிடும் என்பதை அவரால் ஜீரணிக்க முடியவில்லை. இதனால் தன் மூத்த மகனை விட்டு விஜியை கெடுக்கச் செய்கிறார்.

கொடுமையிலும் கொடுமையான இந்த சம்பவம் சந்தியாவின் மாமியார் சாரதாவுக்கு தெரியவருகிறது. அவள் மருமகள்சந்தியாவிடம், "நடந்தது ஒரு விபத்து மாதிரி இருந்து விட்டுப் போகட்டும். இப்போதும் உன் தங்கை விஜி என் இளைய மருமகளாக வரத் தடையேதும் இல்லை'' என்கிறாள்.

ஆனால் சந்தியாவோ "எனக்கு ஒரு தம்பி இருந்து இப்படி கெட்டுப் போன பெண் என்று தெரிந்தால் திருமணம் செய்து வைப்பேனா? என் தங்கை இனி இந்த வீட்டு மருமகளாக வரத் தகுதியில்லாதவளாகி விட்டாள்'' என்கிறாள்.

இதனால் மாமியாருக்கு கோபம். சந்தியாவிடம் சண்டை போடுகிறாள். சந்தியாவோ "ஏற்கனவே உங்கள் மூன்றாவது மகனுக்கு பேசி வைத்து அப்புறமாய் திருமணக் கனவுடன் நின்றுபோன மாதவியை உங்கள் இளைய மகனுக்கு பேசி முடிப்போம்'' என்கிறாள்.

ஆனால் மாமியார் சாரதா விடுவதாக இல்லை. "மாதவி என் மருமகளாக வரக்கூடாது. யார் தடுத்தாலும் விஜி தான் என் மருமகள்'' என்று சொல்லி விடுகிறாள்.

சந்தியாவுக்குத்தான் தர்மசங்கடம். தன்தங்கை விஜி தங்கள் குடும்பத்துக்கு மருமகளாக வரக்கூடாது என்று முடிவு செய்திருந்த அவள், ஏற்கனவே மாதவியை சந்தித்து தன் இளைய கொழுந்தனை மணந்து கொள்ள கேட்டுக் கொண்டிருந்தாள். இப்போது அவளே போய் தன் மாமியாருக்கு பிடிக்கவில்லை என்று கூற வேண்டிய கட்டாயம்.

மாதவி இதை எதிர்பார்க்கவில்லை. மகள் மாதவிக்கு ஏற்கனவே அந்தக் குடும்பத்தில் சம்பந்தம்பேசி நின்று போயிருந்ததால் கவலையில் இருந்த மாதவியின்அம்மா, இப்போது மறு

படியும் மகள் திருமணம் கேள்விக்குறியானதில் மாரடைப்பு வந்து உயிரிழக்கிறாள். இதனால் மாதவியின் கோபம் சந்தியாமீது திரும்புகிறது.

இப்போது சந்தியா-மாதவிக்குள்ளான போராட்டம் ஆரம்பமாகிறது. இதற்கிடையே முத்துப்பாண்டியும் சந்தியாவை மாமியார் சாரதாவிடம் இருந்து நிரந்தரமாக பிரிக்க காய் நகர்த்துகிறார்.
