Actresses Nayantara, Asin, Meera Jasmine, dancer Aishwarya Rajinikanth and veteran B. Saroja Devi are among the 70 people conferred with the Kalaimamani awards by the state government for their contribution to arts and literature.

Theatre personality N.Muthusamy, Drums Sivamani and television talk show host Anu Hasan are also on the list of people honoured by the state government.

There are more film personalities adding glamour to the list. Cheran, Sundar C, Bharath, Pasupathy, Shobana, Vaiyapuri, music director Harris Jeyaraj, cinematographer R D Rajasekhar, small screen directors Sundar K Vijayan and Thiruselvam have also been chosen for the award.
