He was 'one & only'. Indian cinema will miss a versatile actor, not to mention a great villain. Deepest condolences.

He did act in tamil in one or two movies... Thalapathi & Thaalam... I think he acted in Indiana jones too...

Yes T, it was 'Indian Jones & the Temple of doom'. I heard it was banned in India for portraying indians in bad taste.

In tamil, I think thalapathi was the only one apart from the dubbed ones (like thaalam).

He played sivaji's role in Hindi 'devar magan' (virasat). Also, gemini's role in Hindi 'avvai shanmugi' (chachi 420).

Agrees with the feelings expressed here.It is wonderful how a great artist lives even after his death.I am sure most people of our generation and background will remember him forever.
