i read, annie besant left her belief for this reason : if god is omni-potent, why does he allow one to commit sin and then punish him for it.. isn't it basically the design-error of the master-designer? we cannot become complacent by thinking that god used sunami as hit. considerable number of the dead were women and children. surely, their sins couldn't have been that severe enough to warrant that punishment. does wrath of god applies only to the weak and helpless? this tsunami has jolted some of the beliefs we strongly held. anyway, thanks for your views.
