[tscii:bb4ba1cf58]Most of us know, China as a fast growing economic giant. But that just seems to be one side of the story. China is being ruled by an autocratic party that would go to the extent of killing its own people to achieve its goals. All the glossy, and high rise buildings seem to hide one dirty secret - how its own people are treated.

Press freedom is minimum if not nil, propaganda is rife. Much of the world wouldn't have forgotten the Tiananmen Square incident and the lone Tank man who stood in the face of approaching tanks, bravely asking them to run over him. But China has, the students from china's most prestigious university can't recognize the incidents of Tiananmen square. so much is the censorship. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=arMFhX-uG8E]

Channel 4 broadcast "China's Olympic Lie" on Oct 19th, it shows

- Beijing residences were forcibly evicted from their homes — up to 1.5 million people have been affected

- Those who dare to protest often find themselves surrounded by massive police and locked up without charge or trial in one of Beijing’s black jails, and beaten

- The documentary-makers were attacked by a dozen guards, camera smashed and were detained for six hours, because of their interview with the petitioners
