Do Not Be Afraid To Hope
- Sridevi
The birds respond to the music of skies
The wind sails like a newborn ship
The grass looks expectantly to the mild sun
The waters in the pool shy away in silence.
Earth celebrates its every life pattern
Why should we carry yesterday?
Let us clear our brains and freshen it
With thoughts of brightness and cheer.
The leaves are trembling to get attention
The cars move with regulated noise
Butterflies have found their sanctuary
Life goes on, has been going on.
The hills are actually a late addition
Born out of great pain and havoc
Standing so majestically in quietitude
Accepting life as it takes its course.
The trees have taken years to stand
Their friends have been chopped off
Still they will be with us till the final day
When they will leave the world.
Fellow creatures move rhythmically
To the predecided tunes set by nature
Why should man alone fret and nag
Questioning the movement of life?
The river goes smoothly with mild shakes
Not wasting its time in tears of sorrow.
Some stones stayed and some left
The river continues to move forever.
Every life has a pattern, simple or complex
Bear it lightly without breaking arms
We are part of designs with bends
As not all can be straight and clear.
