The best teasing was done by the ultimate masala hero himself, Sathyaraj in the opening of Kovai Brothers.

There will be trouble in Ration kadai, poors will be exploited, blah, blah,blah and one of them will say, "Ithai tattikeedka yaaruumee illaiyaa".

Then, they show Sathyaraj, from feet up, walking slow motion, then he runs, runs, jumps, way up the air, and on the air, passes the bad guys, lands, and walks off....

The makkal thought he'd fight the bad guys, then Sathyaraj gives them explanation that I can't write here. Hillarious in original dialogue, go watch this scene.

Of course, right after Sathyaraj kindal-ise practically every hero in town, Sibiraj enters the scene and does exactly what his dad just criticised :?

I guess the message is, "evalavuttaan naama criticise panninaalum, ivanungga thiruntha-maataangga". That's what makes Sathyaraj critic-proof.

Houses - scenes stick to one room only strictly...no inter-room conversation ever, only intra-room conversation...also movement from one room to another highly restricted (stage days hangover)

Airplanes - always for take off and landing scenes only, that too with deafening noise - nothing to be shown inbetween or inside ...why strain or spend money? 8-)

Animals - pets only for heroines....never for heroes (except of course pasunesan ramarajan)
