Old age homes are a bitter fact of the twenty first century! Perhaps there are two sides to a coin! :roll: Increasing generation gap in a variety of daily matters, eating, sleeping habits, entertainment preferences, concepts of privacy makes it better for both sides to be in separate residences. Less confrontation, mental torture, emotional trauma! Adjustability is a rare quality today in both the young & the old. In less affluent classes constraints of space pose a big problem for easy coexistence. Where there is a will there is a way for peaceful cohabitation. When that will is missing old age homes is a better option. Company of like-minded, like-ailing-bodied people could form a world of its own tolerance & enjoyment!

dhideernu old age home paththi topic vandhadhunaala thaan mulichen, innum mulikkirane, what made you start it? IMHO old age homes are better than staying with a nuclear family be it someones daughter's or son's home it is still their home. Joint family is a totally different ball game, but even there...my friend's parents were part of such a joint family where her grand mother stayed with them, I am sure it was fine, but the moment the grand mother died the four brothers went in four different directions, so God only knows what the dynamics in that house was.

sometimes when they renovate the old victorian buildings in uk, they keep the front wall, as it is - with all its antiquity and decorations, and build the rest of the building, just to remind us of the history.

For many of us here, that history takes us back by a few years and makes us feel at home, happy and nostalgic at the same time.

when we talk about colourful night.. it strikes my mind that you need light to be reflected as colours. I suppose she forms the light. And it makes sense that there is shadow, when there is light in the night.

I am not a tamil song expert, but....given Kannadhasan was writing songs for Tamil padams, I cannot believe Andhi mazhai was the first song of this kind. I need confirmation from others on this before I can believe this ;)

1. :exactly: Specially the metephors. They are substantially different from the conventional ones like paal, thEn, madhu, poo, nila, iravu, pagal or even the word kaadhal. On any day- I would say 'Anthimazhai' remains a master piece in all aspects - be it lyrics, music, singers or the movie :) :D

I strongly disagree.........IMHO VM has lost his miraclous touch after the 80's.His last "Urupadi" was Roja.....later May Madham and Duet.Till date -

You see people tend to repeat things,So is VM.I can quote several verses of the poem there which he had used before and after.That disqualifies him from being called "One who imagines great and carves them on paper"....

"இடம் மாறும் இதயம்" என்பது அவருக்கு மிகப் பிடித்த சொல்லாடல்.நேற்று வந்த "வாஜி வாஜி வாஜி என் ஜீவன் சிவாஜி"யில் கூட இந்த உவமை இடம் பெறுகிறது.மேலும் ராக்கிதேவாவின் அபிமான பாடல் "பனிவிழும் மலர்வனத்திலும்" இதயம் இடம் மாறுகிறது.வைரமுத்துவுக்கு வார்த்தைப் பஞ்சம் ஏற்படும் போது இந்த தொடரைப் போட்டு என்னை தேவையில்லாமல் இம்சிக்கிறார்.மேலும் இதே போல் சில மீண்டும்களை நாம் விரிவாக அசை போடலாம்.)

thanks venki for sharing your thoughts and impressions on VM.

i used to have a soft corner to kannathaasan for his poetic flow and fluency, compared to vaira, but after being to this thread and having heard many friends quote him, i accepted vaira as a great poet, but probably not as the best lyricist. but he is far better than many others in this commercial world, with time constraints and forced thoughts. atleast he is adapting his own imaginations?!

but, I have heard and appreciated abdul rahman as more acclaimed poet.

But i suppose they are poets of different strengths. may be its like comparing veena and sitar. and if you were going to talk about people who break their essays in to poems, but still share beautiful imaginations and thoughts, may be we are talking about totally different genere like tabela and mruthangam.

so, does it matter what name we give them.. as long as it's good music that we could personally enjoy.

but i see valid points in your discussions with other learned people in the link that you have given. (as an amateur, i used to write rhythmic verses with traditional analogies and imaginations. during my time in hub, i changed my style to what was more common. but now, i rarely write and having reading the bits, makes me wonder am i even capable.)

very interesting to read to all the discussions in the link given. kind of addicting.. to read all, but i had to go back to my assignment ( in my night shifts).

i have enjoyed reading your thread on different poets as well, sometime ago.

sorry that i'm not adding any firm points for discussions, as I come here to learn and nothing i have learned to share. i leave that to other equipped people. and i easily succumb to others opinions too, when i realise my knowledge is limited.

வைரமுத்து 'தவணை முறையில் தருவது' பற்றிப் பற்பல படங்களில் எழுதியதிலிருந்து அவர் கடனட்டை தவணை செலுத்தாமல் ஏதொ பாதிப்புக்குள்ளானாரோ என்று கூட சந்தேகிக்க வைக்கும்.

ஆனால் அவர் சூழலைப் பாருங்கள். புதுமையான சப்ஜெக்டு சார்...உழைக்கும் வர்க்கத்தின் பிரதிநிதியான ஒரு மூதாட்டி வடையை சுட்டு முடித்த மாத்திரத்தில், சுரண்டல்காரனின் கருநெஞ்சின் உருவகமாக வரும் ஒரு காகம் அதைத் தூக்கிச் செல்கிறது....என்று கதை சொல்லும் ஒரு உலகம்.

இல்லாத கதைகளில் வரும் முழுமை பெறாத அந்த பாத்திரங்களுக்கு பாட்டு எழுதுவது என்பதே பெரிய சாதனை. ஒன்றுக்கொன்று சற்றும் மாறாத சூழ்நிலைகளுக்கு ஷிஃப்ட் போட்டு எழுதும்பொழுது, உருவகங்கள் திரும்ப திரும்ப வரத்தான் செய்யும்.

இத்தகைய சூழளில் எத்தனை அழகான வரிகளை அவர் எழுதியிருக்கிறார் என்று பார்த்து ரசிப்பதே சாத்தியம். அவரின் நயத்தையும் தரத்டையும், நான் கேட்ட வரையில் யாரும் நெருங்கியதில்லை.

காற்றில் எங்கும் உன் வாசம், வெறும் வாசம் வாழ்க்கையில்லை :clap:
காதல் என்றாலே தரையிலிருந்து குறைந்தபட்சம் பத்து செண்டிமீட்டர் பறந்துகொண்டிருக்கவேண்டும், அவ்வாறு பறக்கவிட வேன்டியது கவிஞனின் வேலை என்ற சிந்தனைக்கு இடையில், வாழ்க்கையின் உண்மைகளில் இருந்த விடுபட முயலாமல் உள்ளிருக்க சொல்லும் வரி. பஆடலின் தொனியை நிர்னயிக்கும் முதல் வரியைக் கேளுங்கள்: 'கண்ணில் ஒரு வலி இருந்தால், கனவுகள் வருவதில்லை'. ஒரு கவிஞனுக்கு எழுதுவதற்கு உண்மையை விட கஷ்டமான விஷயம் இருக்க முடியுமா ?

வைரமுத்துவை பெருங்காய டப்பா என்பது போல பேசுவது சரியல்ல.

எனக்கு அவர் பேசுவதை கேட்கப் பிடிக்காது. ஒரே அலட்டலாக இருக்கும். அவர் தனது கவிதைகளைப் படிக்கத் தொடங்கினால் நான் சேனலை மாற்றி இந்தி சீரியல் பார்க்கக் கூட தயார் ஆகி விடுவேன். அவர் தனிக் கவிதை திரட்டுக்கள் , ரோஷனையும் முரளி ஸ்ரீநிவாஸையும் கவர்ந்ததுபோல என்னைக் கவரவில்லை.

ஆனால் இசைத்துணையுடன் வரும்பொழுது அவரை அடித்துக் கொள்ள ஆளில்லை. ஒரு பாடலுக்கு எந்த இடத்தில் எவ்வாறு சொல்லை வைத்தால், மெட்டும் சேர்ந்து அது சோபிக்கும் என்றறிந்த வல்லவர் வைரமுத்து.

கீழ்வரும் வரிகளை (பார்த்திபன் சொல்வது போல) ஒன்றன் கீழ் ஒன்றாக எழுதி கவிதை என்று சொன்னாலேற்றுக்கொள்ளத் தயங்குவேன். ஆனால் இசையுடன் சேர்ந்து இவை நிற்கும் இடமே வேறு:
கள்ள விழிகளில் கண் கொத்தி சென்ற்ராயே
கன்ன குழிகளில் உயிர் மூடி வைத்தாயே
பின்பு யாரோ போல் தள்ளி நின்ட்ராய்
நட்பு உரவில்லை என்றாய

நான் இங்கே “காதலித்துப்பார்” கவிதையை பதிப்பித்தது முரளி சார் அவர்கள் குறிப்பிட்டிருந்த கவிதையில் உள்ள் வரிகளை நண்பர் பாலா குறிப்பிட்டு வியந்ததாலும் - ‘காதலித்துப் பார்” கவிதையை அவர் படித்ததில்லை என்று சொன்னதாலும் ஆகும். அது ஒரு நல்ல கலந்துரையாடலுக்கு வித்திட்டதை நினைத்து மகிழ்ச்சியே :D


நீங்கள் குறிப்பிட்டதுபோல் வைரமுத்து அவர்கள் - ஒரு சில சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் ஒரே அர்த்தம் தொணிக்கும் வரிகளை அவரது பாடல்களில் திரும்ப திரும்ப உபயோகித்திருப்பார். அதேபோல், அவரது கவிதைகளிலிருந்தும் பல வரிகளை உபயோகித்திருப்பார். கவிதையில் இருந்து தழுவும்போது அது, பல சந்தர்ப்பங்களில் இயக்குனர்களின் வேண்டுகோலிற்கிணங்கியதாகவே இருந்திருக்கிறது. ஷங்கரின் விருப்பத்திற்கேற்ப ‘காதலித்துப்பார்’ கவிதையை ஆதாரமாககொண்டு எழுதியதுதான் “என்னவளே...” என்ற காதலன் படப்பாடல். சமீபத்தில்கூட ‘தம்பி’ படத்திலும் அதை பயன் படுதியிருக்கிறார். இதுபோல் அவரது பல கவிதை வரிகள் – இயக்குனர், இசையமைப்பாளர் விருப்பத்துக்கேற்ப பாடலாக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன. உதாரணத்திற்கு சொல்வதானால் - அமர்க்களம் படத்தில் – சத்தம் இல்லாத தனிமை கேட்டேன் ( ஒரு சில வரிகள் கவிதையிலிருந்து – மிகுதி புதிதாகவும் எழுதப்பட்டது) , மேகங்கள் என்னைத்தொட்டு போனதுண்டு ( எல்லா வரிகளும் கவதையிலிருந்து), பூவெல்லாம் உன் வாசம் படத்தில் – தாலாட்டும் காற்றே வா , முதல்வன் படத்தில் அழகான ராட்சசியே, என் சுவாசக்காற்றே படத்தில் வரும் சின்ன சின்ன மழைதுளிகள், ஆய்த எழுத்தில் வரும் ஜன கன மன மற்றும் யாக்கை திரி , வரலாறு படத்தில் தீயில் விழுந்த தேனா போன்ற பாடல்கள் உட்பட இன்னும் பல பாடல்களில் அவரது கவி வரிகள் உபயோகிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன். அதற்காக அவரை பாராட்டதான் முடியுமே தவிர இகழ முடியாது – ஏனென்றால் நல்ல கவிதைகள் பெரும்பான்மையோருக்கு சினிமா பாடல் வழியாகப் போய்ச்சேர்வதை ஒரு நல்ல விஷயமாகவே நான் கருதுகிறேன். பூவெல்லாம் உன் வாசம் படத்தில் அவர் எழுதிய கவி வரிகளைக் கண்டு அசந்துபோய் மெட்டுக்கு வரி என்றில்லாமல் – வரிகளுக்கு மெட்டமைத்ததாக வித்யாசாகர் ஒரு பேட்டியில் கூறி இருந்தார். மெட்டுக்குத்தான் பாட்டு என்று இருக்கும் இந்த காலகட்டத்தில் எத்தனை பாடல் ஆசிரியர்களால் இப்படி சாதிக்க முடிகிறது.

மேலும் கவிப்பேரரசு அவர்கள் இதயம் இடம் மாறுதல், நிமிஷம் வருஷம், தவணை முறை போன்ற வரிகளை “தவணை முறையில்” பயன்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார் என்பதை நான் மறுக்கவில்லை. அவர் எழுதிய ஆயிரக்கணக்கான பாடல்களில், லட்சக்கணக்கான வரிகளில், நூற்றுக்கணக்கான கவிதைகளில் – மறுபடியும் உபயோகித்த வரிகளை விரல் விட்டு எண்ணிவிடலாம். மேலும் அத்தகைய “தவணை முறைகளை” எல்லா கவிஞர்களும் அந்தந்த கால கட்டங்களில் பயன்படுத்தியிருக்கிறார்கள் – கண்ணதாசன் உட்பட (விரல் விட்டு எண்ணக்கூடிய அளவுக்கு பாடல்களை எழுதிய கவிஞர்களை இந்த கணக்கில் சேர்த்துக் கொள்ள முடியாது). அதில் தவறேதும் இருப்பதாக எனக்குத்தெரியவில்லை. பிரபு ராம் குறிப்பிடதுபோல் “ஒன்றுக்கொன்று சற்றும் மாறாத சூழ்நிலைகளுக்கு ஷிஃப்ட் போட்டு எழுதும்பொழுது, உருவகங்கள் திரும்ப திரும்ப வரத்தான் செய்யும்”. ஒரு பேட்டியின்போது – குத்துப்பாடல்களுக்கு மெட்டமைப்பதைச் சாடி வித்யாசாகரிடம் கேள்வி எழுப்பப்பட்ட போது – “நான் என்ன செய்ய முடியும்.. அதைத்தான் எங்களிடம் எதிர்பார்க்கிறார்கள். –னக்கும் கஷ்டமாகத்தான் இருக்கிறது. ஆனால் அவ்வப்போது “காதல் வந்தால் சொல்லியனுப்பு உயிரோடிருந்தால் வருகிறேன்” என்ற அற்புதமான வரிகளோடு வைரமுத்து சார் போன்றவர்கள் வருபோது முழு திருப்தியுடனும் உற்சாகத்துடனும் மெட்டு போடுவேன்” என்று கூறியிருந்தார்.

இதற்கு “emotion” ஏதும்போட முடியாது – ஏனென்றால் “emotion” – களை தாண்டிய அதிர்ச்சி இது. ஒன்று நீங்கள் சினிமா பாடல்களை ஆரவ்த்துடன் கேட்காதவராக இருக்க வேண்டும் அல்லது வைரமுத்துமேல் அதீத வெறுப்பு கொண்டவராக இருக்க வேண்டும். அதுதான் இப்படி “பெருங்காய டப்பா” என்று சொல்லாமல் சொல்லி இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

பிரபு ராம் கேட்டிகொண்டதிற்கிணங்க வைரமுத்து அவர்கள் ரஹ்மானின் மெட்டுக்கு எழுதிய மிகசிறந்த வரிகளை பட்டியலிட நினைத்தேன், ஆனால் அவற்றை விடியும் வரை எழுத வேண்டியிருக்கும் என்பதால் 90-க்கு பிறகு அவரின் மிகசிறந்த பாடல்கள் இடம்பெற்ற படங்களின் பெயர்களை தருகிறேன். நீங்கள் குறிப்பிட்டிருக்கும் திரைப்படங்களின் பாடல் வரிகளை விட சிறந்த வரிகளை இந்த பட்டியலிலுள்ள திரைப்பாடல்களில் நீங்கள் காணலாம்.

இது வெறுமனே ரஹ்மானுடன் இணைந்து தந்த படைப்புக்கள் மட்டுமே. தேவா, வித்யாசாகர், பரத்வாஜ், மற்றும் புது முக இசையமைப்பாளர்களுடன் தந்த அற்புதமான பாடல்களின் பட்டியல் தனியாக உண்டு. மேலே குறிப்பிட்ட படங்களில் மூன்று (சங்கமம், ரோஜா & கன்னத்தில் முத்தமிட்டால்) அவருக்கு மூன்று முறை தேசிய விருதினை வாங்கிக் கொடுத்திருக்கிறது. ரோஜா பட பாடல்களின் வரிகளை நீங்களே பாராட்டியிருக்கிறீர்கள். மற்ற இரு தேசிய விருதுகளை வாங்கிக்கொடுத்த பாடல்களான் - முதல் முறை கிள்ளி பார்த்தேன் மற்றும் ஒரு தெய்வம் தந்த பூவே பாடல்களில் செறிந்து கிடக்கும் அற்புதமான , அதிசயமான கவி வரிகளை வியக்காதவர்கள் இருக்க முடியாது .


அவர் ஒன்றும் இங்கு நம்மூரில் பாராட்டும் அளவிற்கெல்லாம் இல்லை.மு.மேத்தா என்று ஒருவர் இருந்தார் தெரியுமா?அவரை நம் ஆட்கள் கண்டுகொள்ளவேயில்ல.அவருடனேயே "வானம்பாடி"யாக இருந்தவர் தான் இவரும்.வைரமுத்துவின் எந்த கவிதைத் தொகுப்பும் கண்ணீர்ப் பூகளுக்கு ஈடாகாது.சத்தியமாக அப்துல் இரகுமானின் கவித்துவம் வைரமுத்துவிடம் கிடையவே கிடையாது


மு.மேத்தாவின் ‘கண்ணீர் பூக்கள்’ சிறந்த தொகுப்புதான். அதேபோல் அப்துல் ரஹ்மானின் பால் வீதி, நேயர் விருப்பம் இன்னும் பலவும், மிகச்சிறந்த தொகுப்புக்கள்தான். ஆனால் வைரமுதுவின் எந்தக் கவிதைத்தொகுப்பும் அதற்கு ஈடாகாது என்று நீங்கள் சொல்வது கொஞ்சம் அதிகப்படியாகவும் வேடிக்கையாகவும் இருக்கிறது. மேலும், மு மேத்தாவும் ஒரு காலகட்டத்தில் சினிமா பாடல் எழுதியவர்தான் – ஆனால் அதில் அவரால் சோபிக்க முடியாமல் அடிபட்டுப் போனது மறுக்கமுடியாத கசப்பான உண்மை.

வைரமுத்துவின் தண்ணீர் தேசம், கள்ளிக்காட்டு இதிகாசம், கருவாச்சி காவியம் – போன்ற அற்புத படைப்புக்களை பேசுவதாக இருந்தால் – நாட்கள் வாரங்கள் போதாது.

கவிப்பேரரசு நம்மூரில் பாராட்டும் அளவிக்கு இல்லை என்று ஏதோ போகிற போக்கில் சொல்லிக்கொண்டு போகிறீர்கள். அப்படியென்றால் அவரது திரைப்பாடல்களுக்காக ஐந்து முறை தேசிய விருது கொடுத்தவர்களும், அவரது கவிப்பணிக்காக “கவிப்பேரரசு” பட்டமும், பல விருதுகள் கொடுத்தவர்களும், அவரது ‘கள்ளிக்காட்டு இதிகாசம்” நாவலுக்கு ‘சாகித்ய அகாடமி விருது கொடுத்தவர்களும் என்ன முட்டாள்களா? திரைப்பாடல், கவிதை, கதை, என மூன்று துறைகளிலும் அரிய சாதனைகளை நிகழ்த்திக் காட்டிய அவருக்கு பாராட்டுக்கள் வந்து குவிவதில் ஆச்சர்யபடுவதற்கோ, வருத்தப் படுவதற்கோ, முறையிடுவதற்கோ அவசியமில்லை ( பொறாமை படலாம் அவ்வளவுதான்). அவர் இன்னும் சாதிப்பார் என்பதில் சந்தேகமும் இல்லை.

இரவு பகல் வருவதில் சிலருக்கு உடன்பாடு இல்லாமல் இருக்கலாம்
அதற்காக அதை அவர்களால் மறுக்க முடியாது


அதுபோன்றதுதான் கவிப்பேரரசுவின் சாதனைகளும் !!

I kindly request you to go to the relevant thread and read it in detail before making such harsh and incorrect statements. He made no connection between Anthi Mazhai and a friend's love marriage, instead he was referring to a "romantic" poetry of VM and the friend, whom the post was addressed to understood it well and was appreciative about it.

Anthimazhai was explained from a different context. And each individual has his own right to voice his/her own opinion based on his/her own likes and dislikes and hope we all are mature enough to understand that and agree to disagree.

as you said, bharathi is poet with great vision. he was quite scientfic in his imagination too.
his poems, especially this one expresses his dreams about his nation and how he wanted it seen integrated.
in my opinion, it's a great thing for a south indian poet to express, as often they feel disintegrated from the rest of the nation - so is the belief. but unfortunate thing is such great works and sacrifices from the south have only been less acknowledged at a national level, further not encouraging our fellows from the south. so, we are seen often as separatists (?is that a right word). that often comes from our clear views about 'rashtrabasha' which is not often understood properly.
let me leave the contraversial topic, here.

Don't feel bad about not remembering the full song. Most of the current generation does not seem to know Bharathiyar that well.
A few years back I opened our annual musical evening at my home with the Bharathiyar song 'veLLai thaamarai poovil iruppaaL'. At the end of the party one youngster in his early thirties came up to me and asked how I knew that song! I told him about my days in elementary school when we started and ended the day with Bharathiyar songs. Obviously they don't do that anymore ! :(

Each one feels the same about their generation. I remember my granny telling my dad, how bad is this theatrical era where young boys and girls HUM movie songs.

Thankfully my mom or dad never comments about these days taste or music and never did even when I was a teen.

I do however feel, sometimes, I CANNOT enjoy some weird so called music these days after listening to IR of late 80z.

This incompatibility to admire trends and fashions after middle age passes on from generation to generation.

Some of us who enjoy IR, and latest AR, also enjoy bharathi's songs and old kvm music or msv music where lyrics were AUDIBLE and made sense.

Some of us enjoy ANY SONG starting from 1960. Go with the tempo or bharathi when u listen to bharathi's song and go with the tempo of ballelakka when u listen to shivaji.

I remember how I smile when I look at old movies when the elders talk of the next generation (the generation of hero/heroine usually) and how they dress.
Just taking the dress code as an example...
What was modern dress in old movies (salwar, chudidhar .. borrowed from north) has become a norm now a days. And the clothes the heroines wear now a days would be shortly our future trends too, I can't imagine :( In fact, the difference between filmy costumes and normal costumes in our society is narrowing down.
I was amazed to see the variety of clothes (lots of decent ones too) and change in fashion (far better than here), when I visited shopping centres in chennai with my wife (a few months ago). Life is really getting more lively backhome, especially in cities, I believe.
When I was in college (not many years ago), our friends (girls) generally would wear Jeans and shirts/T-shirts (the modern clothes those days) only when we go out on a college trip. So, trends do change, but much faster these days.
I suppose some of these trends used to cycle around (especially) in terms of clothes in the past.. like the sleeves of ladies' jacket which comes right down to wrist and go back up to shoulders, and the bottoms of gent's trousers which tends to wide out to bells and then narrow down to tights!
Lets honour the differences and enjoy the similarities.. would be my attitude.. towards generation gap, considering myself younger generation still :lol: But even people who have such attitudes to the general society tend to have differnet attitudes towards their own kins, especially in our culture... especially because we make our own standards of scales. As we feel protective about them and care for them. Sometimes, it's better to let go!

I don't think there's any Malayalam mix at all in the Srivilliputhur Thamizh. (BTW, I had spent a couple of months during my school years in SVP with my mom's uncle)...

BTW, per my observation, MalayALam is the Thamizh maNipravALam put into a language format (i.e with new script and other formalism)...All the vocabulary is from Thamizh, Sanskrit and other languages...again IMO...That way, kuttan is from Thamizh. (Kutty is also from Thamizh, though the original meaning is no longer used in Thamizh...It's still used in the same meaning in phrases like "puLLa-kutti". However, when used alone, it denotes young one of an animal and not a human child...also used to simply mean "tiny" or "young" (for e.g. "kuttippAppA"):-)

we had been on a short package tour to europe (with our parents). i will share my experience soon. been busy since then, trying to keep my parents engaged in the weekend. poor them.. they are feeling imprisoned at our flat. the only entertainment is sun TV/CITV and short walking they go on each day.

I'm having a great time.. nice food each day. been travelling to work for 1 1/2 to 2 hours each day.. just to reach home and have some good food and watch TV. vinayaga chathurthikku ellurundai already ready!

still have to find a flat to share near my work place (back to birmingham from leicester).

happened to watch an episode of vijay aathiraj programme in Jaya TV where Naresh Iyer was the guest. It was a pleasure to watch his programme. Humble and good screen presence. Apart from just pitch, beats and baavam, he gave lots of professional tips for various songs. Many of his songs were rendered by himself and participants.. and i felt he was so versatile, despite the limitation with the intensity of his tone!

i could see jaya tv is adapting lots of western programmes - with participants' comments as interludes.
