Ok, Goel had a contemporary who went through the same fate as him despite excelling for his Ranji side. He didnt finish above Goel but he was quite high in the list and his name is always taken with Goel in the context of "one of the best bowlers to have not played for India". Name him.
Kanwaljeet Singh, Azhar's weapon in Hyderabad?

1. Century in both innings in Aussie soil - in the first match they played in Oz
2. All of them "Mankaded" some non-striker in their career. Mankad gave his name to such dismissals

I deliberately avoided the other names to make it a little difficult. Initially added Amre and Surinder Amarnath but removed later.
AA Kripal Singh's son Arjan has a triple century in Ranji, I think. Bonus trivia.
Ok, one more Ranji questio. Like Goel, Shivalkar, on the batting side there were quite a few biggies in domestic scene who died down their career without ever playing for India. Some of them were desparately unlucky. Name this 80's stalwart who scored mountains of runs in Ranji and forced his way into the Indian ODI side - only for the match to be rained of in Srinagar I think - and he never got another chance.

Out of 9 World Cup final matches, 7 were won by the side batting first. Uff the pressure of chasing in such a big match. No wonder India lost the 2003 final.

why was Kapil dropped from the test against eng in calcutta in 1984?
after winning the 1 st test in bombay, india were in a very strong position at the 2nd test in delhi. during the 4th day the score was not bad and gavaskar and amarnath were cruising nicely and it looked as if the game would end in a draw. suddenly gavaskar was out 65 and india was leading with 61 runs with 6 wickets in hand. on the way to pavillion he met kapil who was coming out to bat and instructed him to go slow and play cautious. kapil was not happy wirth this advise and promptly started to hit from the word go. after hitting a 6 he was caught trying to hit another 6 the very next ball for 7 runs. That triggered the collapse and India lost the match as the english were able to score the required 125 runs easily.
The selectors were mad with kapil making him the reason for the lost match. So he was not selected for the next test in calcutta. Initially the reason given was lack of form but after a maddened kapil informed that he will end his career, they made it as a punishment for 1 test due to disciplinary actions. Even though Sunil tried to mend the damage by proclaiming no Kapil, no Test Kapil was rested for the match. The public were so angry with the selectors and Sunil and he faced a very hostile crowd in Calcutta, who threw banana peelings at him and abused him very much. A very agitated Sunil vowed that he would never play again in Calcutta and he kept his word till his retirement.

That instance of dropping Kapil was another of Sunny's manipulative streak. The best part was "No Kapil No test" stunt later.
Much similar to Shastri's U-turn on Muralitharan after being signed up by Murali's agency. I guess that was an astute move by Murali's PR agency.

Not sure in Tests. In ODIs I remember once:
It happened in the 1999 World Cup in SAfrica v Englad match. S Every SA players were involved in atleast one dismissal. That was the only thing memorable in the match. It was the day before India-Kenya match where Sachin made a century.

the same team again had used 11 players at least in a dismissal to take 9 wickets in 4th innings. this also happened in 2000s. and the match was drawn.

A,B debuted in the same match.
A - Picked up the wicket of C and hung on to save the test match.
B - Did not play any other test match. Though he picked up 3 wickets in the first innings, he didn't bowl in the second innings.
C - Registered his highest score and picked up 4 wickets in the 2nd innings to push his team towards the brink of victory.
D,E - Scored unbeaten centuries in this match

A and B shared a century partnership in this match (a sort of rare occurrence between debutants)
B never played another Test match despite an unbeaten half-century
A was dismissed by C while closing in on his century
D and E were the captains

Clue:
Only twice have all 11 players had roles in taking the wickets in a Test innings and both matches involved this team. The first time was against West Indies in Jamaica in 2001, when the hosts were dismissed for 301 in the second innings. More recently, however, all 11 players played a hand in at least one dismissal against England at Newlands in 2010, and yet they managed only nine wickets in a thrilling draw.

Take a few "South African Opening Batsman" and wash them. Cut a few "English Medium Pacers". Take flour made out of an uncapped South African all-rounder and mix it in the SA Opening batsman washed and kept aside above with Water.
Now "English Opening batsman" it on a tawa. If applicable, perform a "Indian Wicket keeper" "English multi-sport all-rounder".
Now, you have an Indian opening batsman-part time wicket keeper ready!

In Cricket, what unique record is held by Jack Macbryan? Guess before googling
Is this the guy who never got to bowl or bat in the only test match he played, hubla than intha info padicha nyabagam
ungaLukku 66% mark (2 / 3). He had also not taken a catch in tests (aadunadhE oru testdhaan). Paavam, that test had only 66.5 overs due to rain and he never got picked again.

He is also a Olympic Gold medalist in field hockey. Not sure if any other cricketer has achieved this.

Might be a trivial question but I'll ask it anyway..
In 1997 the fastest recorded ball in ODI was bowled and it was neatly flicked for 6 over square leg. Name the bowler and batsman?

Yeah, I've been to MRF Pace foundation and from what I've seen, the speed guns are not fool proof :?

Yes Plum.
Self :hammer: . What I should have asked was - When Raina made a Test century on debut he emulated the rare feat of only 3 other batsman. What is the feat and who are they?
Answer: 100 in all 3 formats of the game.

Is the record about the Beer drinking in the plane? or is it Cricket related?

I'm guessing this could be it - David Boon once drank 52 cans of beer in a flight journey, 52 is the number of tests Sir Don Bradman played

Didn't one of the current gen English cricketers attempt this feat and got stopped by the coaching staff? IIRC it was Flintoff, not sure.
