Tamil Literatures that can be made as films


I have read most of the works of KALKI many times. After having seen LOTR, TROY, GLADIATOR etc I felt that many historical novels, stories and most of the gems in tamil literaturs can be again made as films.

Suggest ur opinion on the same. You can suggest whom u would like to see playing the respective characters.

I will post on this more later

nice topic........i always have this doubt and i now got a chance to ask :P

well..there r 5 novels in 'Ainperumkaapiyangal' rite....and i know Silapadhikaaram was made into a movie. how about other novels like manimekalai, etc....Are there movies based on them? :D
