Best Actress
Bollywood not only has the most glamourous and pretty dolls, but many of them can give their men a run for their money in the field of acting. If only they were given half the chance.
Voted as one of the most beautiful women around, Aishwarya Rai, was one of the contenders for this award. Notwithstanding her controversial lip to lip lock in Dhoom2, this pretty lass broke many hearts with the annoucnement of her engagement a few days ago.
Others in the contest are: Bipasha Basu (Corporate), Kajol (Fanaa), Kareena Kapoor (Omkara), Priety Zinta (Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna), Priyanka Chopra, Rani Mukherji (Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna), Soha Ali Khan (RDB)and Vidya Balan (LRMB).
And the winner is......

Best Actor
What does it take to become a top actor in Bollywood?
The ability to act?
The ability to dance?
A famous father?
Killer looks?
A muscled torso?
Colgate smile?
The nominees for the Hub Awards for Best Actor in Hindi Films have at least one of the above. But who will make it to the top?
Will it be Aamir Khan (RDB) or Anupham Kher (Khosla ka Ghosla)?
Will it be the dream boy Hrithik Roshan (Krishh,Dhoom2) or will it be John Abraham (Zinda)
Will it be "chocolate boy" Madhavan (RDB) or Saif Ali Khan ( Omkara )?
Will it be the King Khan Shah Rukh Khan (Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna) or will it be Siddharth (RDB)?
You have decided it is going to be.....
great

It is time to announce best movie of the year under Hindi Films section. It was indeed a very good year
for bollywood. Lots of high revenue colleting movies like Krish, Dhoom2, Don, RDB, Fanaa came in the year 2006.
But collections never been a scale for deciding best movies. Then what else?
What are the points hubbers considered before voting? We dont know that. But let us see the nominations..
1. Fanaa :
With the first time pair of Aamir and Kajol, the movie did met expectation to certain level.
Kajol as blind girl stole the show. Music is the high light of the movie.
2. Krishh :
Krrish is a path breaking film which shows that Indian films can also match up to Hollywood special effects and that too at a much lower cost. Hrithik as Krrish gave a splendid performance.
Hrithik is the biggest plus for the movie.
3. Lage Raho Munnabhai :
The sequel to Munnabhai MBBS too made a greater impact at the audience. Like its predecessor, LAGE RAHO MUNNABHAI is a sparkling example of qualitative cinema. Sanjay Dutt and Harshad Varsi were Superb. Vidya balan was getting better with her every movie..
4. Omkara :
OMKARA, is an adaptation of Shakespeare's OTHELLO. We cannot take our eyes from the main characters. Ajay, Oberoi and Saif had given wonderful performance. A must watch movie.
5. Rang De Basanti :
A splendid movie indeed. From Direction, cast selection, Music everything rocked. Rang De Basanti has a story that entertains you, makes you think and stirs you deep inside in the end. If anyone missed the movie better go watch and feel it.
Your choice is one among these..
It could be easier to predict. Better stay tuned for the official announcement

Rang de Basanti - paint it yellow - this quote runs chill down the spine of any indian....the words uttered by the great "krantikaaris" like Bhagat Singh,Chandrashekhar Azad who sacrificed their lives for our freedom....... ......their sacrifice, vision is unparalleled and our struggle for independence is one of the most ferocious in the world history.....
this movie shows that we are still, not 100% free.......the battle for freedom and independence is a never ending process
Oscars didnt deserve RDB to be in their list..... :poke:
