Vey rarely padmanabha posts a comment in another thread,I thought he/she is going to open a new thread which talks about Deewali festivities at Trivandrum. Please enlighten us on how Deewali is celebrated by the Royal family of Trivandrum!!!
Mallus' Deewali is generally doing "Shraaddah" to ancestors on Amaavasya, nothing much unlike other parts of India. Rice is not eaten for dinner.
