Nagarjuna: Words can’t match to describe the ultra modern look and charm of Yuva Samrat. He is romantic with his charm, rocking with his outlook, ravishing with his costumes, magnetic with his screen presence and superb with his styles. Nag''s charm cast magic spell and bowled all the 5 heroines on the screen and steal the show.
Nag’s characterization can be defined with 4Ms.
M for Management: The way our BOSS manages his people and business with his wit n wits and wlk n tlk
M for Mass: The way he dances, comics and fights with super display of histrionics
M for Macho: The way he graces the screen with his styles, looks and appears
M for Manmadhudu: The way he charms and romances all the five beauties on screen
Nayana Tara: Nayana as Anuradha is the correct match for Nag in this corporate backdrop movie. She performed with ease. Her histrionics are perfectly twined with her characterization. Nayana Tara is at her best and won the hearts with her outstanding performance
Poonam: Poonam as Sruthi is glamorous and her performance as new secretary is fine filled with fun. Her pranks with Nayana are enjoyable.
Shriya – Shriya as Sanjana won the hearts once again. Her character is short, simple and sweet. She looks bubbly and remains you of Bhanu in Santosham.
Direction: Direction by Aditya is sensible. It seems he inspired a lot from Manmadhudu and Santosham but at the same time took utmost care in injecting the freshness. His sensitivity is very clearly visible in weaving the scenes such a way that they establish and elevate each character.
Portraying Gopala Krishna alias GK (Nag) character as blend of today’s vibrant boss and most caring man justifies all his acts and deeds. GK character exhibits ‘Guts’ n ‘Kaleja’ in running business and shows ‘Geera’ n ‘Kovvu’ in ego satisfaction. Not only this GK also treasures ‘Gjnapakalu’ and ‘Kannelu’ for his loved ones. The way GK runs his business with mind and care his members with heart reflects striking balance, which every Boss should possess.
Projecting the Anuradha (Nayana) as a woman of great self respect. She loves herself much than any as she was a deprived child, who lacks love. Reasons for her resignation and the stand she took were well justified by establishing her character in right way. If Sonali as Abhi’s colleague in Manmadhudu represents smart working class lady from high class urbane, Nayana as secretary to Boss represents a sincere, loyal and hard working woman from middle class.
He narrated first half in Manmadhudu style and second half in Santosham style with a predictable climax inspired from Manmadhudu and Nuvvu Vasthavani
Music & Choreography: Music Team lead by Kalayani Malik contributed a lot to the movie. All the songs are very apt to the situation and elevated the mood. All the songs are highlight and holds repeat value. Anoop did a splendid job in background score which elevated the mood of the movie.
Duniyane Dunnesey: This song comes first in the movie. Nag set the screen on fire with his gorgeous looks, trendy costumes and stylish dance movements. Saloni added fuel to the fire. Choreography is worth mentioning.
Andagadu Muttukunte: Nayana dreams this duet with his Boss in foreign locales. Song sounds folky but choreographed with cool and class steps.
Edo Tamashaga: This is the Highlight song in first half. This is very situational and carries some fun. Throughout the song only one set of costumes are used. Nag and Nayana’s dance movements in Malaysia are racy and romantic. It strikes well with masses.
Jeeley Jeeley: Highlight song. Choreography is very well blended with lyrics and expressions. Nag and Nayana teases each other in a modern dancing Kawwali style. Nag dances with full of josh and joy. This is a treat. You can’t resist from tapping your foot. This is the only duet shot in indoors with a nice backdrop.
Hello Bossu:. Situation demands this song. Excellent locations and photography besides sizzling dance movements. Nag’s costumes in this song are going to be racy among youth. Nag n Poonam pair is feast for fans and treat for masses.
Veluthunna & Vasthunna: Intertwined with story. Veluthunna goes along with Nayana whenshe walks out from Nag’s life and Vasthunna comes with Nag coming into Nayana’s life. This reminds you of ‘Ne tolisariga’ from Santosham and ‘Patala pallaki lo’ from Nvvuvasthavani.
Anaganaga: Picturised on Nag and Nayana in cool locales of Austria. Good song placed at wrong time.
Boss Remix : Remix song at the end is trendy and funny. It is a like signature at the end for the movie
Dialogues: After songs it is crisp & catchy dialogues that entertained much as they are intertwined well within the story line. Dialogues are energy to the movie as they were well said by apt characters at right time with good timing and punch. Dialogues are well laced and placed by Chintapalli Ramana thereby generating comedy between the main characters instead of having a separate track. It’s either commonsense or comedy sense of the characters on which the humor mill was run.

Production – Producer Siva Prasada Reddy should be commended for high production values with lavish backdrops and technical brilliance - Camera by Shiva, Editing by Marthand Venkatesh, and Art by Anand Sai. Siva Prasada Reddy succeeded well in projecting his Friend and Favorite Hero as Boss. Being a Nagfan, his judgement is 100% correct to come with a Feel good movie like Boss (in the lines of Santosham and Manmadhudu) targeting family audience after the devotional epic Sri Ramadasu
Boxoffice Analysis:
First half Manmadhudu, Secondhalf Santosham and Climax loosely and closely inspired from end climax of Nuvvu vasthavani and Manmadhudu
First half filled with entertainment and 2 highlight songs, Second half holds heart and soul besides 3 highlight songs. Climax stretched and is easily predictable. Anaganaga song is wrong placement.
Songs, Dialogues and Fun makes feast for fans, masses, youth and families. Emotions, relations and family values in the second half appeals well with family audience.
Definitely BOSS is going to lure family audience and rule the Box-office for next 100 days.
