The much awaited songs of Shivaa are released.
The main reason behind the expectation may be due to the reasons
1. The names behind the album IR AND Ram Gopal Verma.
2.A bollywood album by IR after a loong time.
Whether the album lived upto expections ??????????
Well the answer to this tricky question is NO becoz
The album is a rip off or rehash of telugu/tamil tracks by IR .
1.Police Police- A rehash of the song Botany from Shiva (Telugu).
2.Josh Mein by Yesudas is a rip off of Vidiya Vidiya Nadanam from Tamil Film Idayathai Thirudaathe with slight variations.
3.Saara Yeh Aalam - A duet version of the classic Aanantha Ragam Ketkum Kaalam from Tamil film Panneer Pushpangal.
4.Shapath-A percussion/mantra style dominated track rendered by Maestro himself is the theme song of the album.
5. Kaise Kahen by Sadhna Sargam & Roop Kumar Rathod is pretty decent
which reminds Ninaivo Oru Paravai from Sigappu Rojakkal(especially listen the start).
6.Dheeme Dheeme- The pick of the album. The solo from the young
nightingale Shreya is classy. If this song reminds any previous work from maestro,Anybody cud comment.(Sorry for my poor memory regardin this track).
Lets hope that BGM lifts the film to greater heights like Telugu Version.
