Media - Election Forecast - TN General Elections 2006

Hi,

With the TN elections just concluded and DMK alliance back in power, shall we analyse the Opinion poll analysis conducted by different media.
The loyolla college predictions came very close to the reality, the final predictions by many including the reputed CCN, the Hindu, Tuglaq were no where near the reality.
Does these pridictions tell us something more??? Did a section wanted to push JJ/ADMK by hook/ crook??? :roll:

Very True Selva. But couldn't resist the temptation to write this :)

The Press these days (not only in election matters) are very biased and choose to sensationalize some incidents which they believe will promote their paper or channel or magazine. While many other important public issues are in the bin.
We get the press's view of the incident rather than 'the incident'.
Press has become a competitive business rather than mere reporting. This is the age where the reporters image masks the actual report. :(
Its time for a revival. We need real journalist!!!!!!!!!!!!
