Reality of IQ Tests

Is results of IQ tests have any reality? how much extent they define anyones mental ability? :?: i also gonna through these type of tests, but not satisfied of them. 8-)

Ya..i too dunno how IQ tests and analysises work!

Maybe we could use this thread to share the results of our IQ tests.

I shall start..I took the Tickle and IQ Laborotary tests.

Both of them gave a result around 120.
120 means just above average..Thank God

Dont tell me that IQ tests are wrong! my IQ tests gives satisfactory results and if it is wrong, it would mean i have been cheating myself :(

I tried the second one. My score was 122 (Average score of other test takers is 100). I answered 24 out of 30 correctly. My score was higher than 94 % of all the people who took this test. :D

To b frank the second one is not much dependable. Bcoz I got 89% score (Percentile score 97%) in Verbal section. But I'm just average in Verbals.
I got equal scores in Verbal and Mathematicals, but the reality is other way round. Compared to Maths, my verbal skills r very low.

gokul sir, the percentile is a comparison with other people, not your own skills. Ur mathematics mite be better than ur verbal skill but apparently you are so good that you rock even in ur relatively weak section :thumbsup: natural talent indeed :thumbsup: :) .

Oof, I tried that third one (tickle.com). IQ score was 129. So in almost everything I'm getting between 120 and 130. I donno how it is calculated. Whether it's for 150 or 200? :?

Mensa online is fairly simple :) If you are really keen on finding out your IQ, apply for the Mensa test and do the actual Mensa test (pen and paper in an exam hall) :)

Hmm... I got 129, same precision processor. I tried 3 or 4 tests. Everything saying same. I think they're telling positive things to evry1 who try their test to attract more visitors for their site. Still I cant beleive some test which said I'm GUD @ VERBAL ENGLISH.

TV, I've now stopped trying those IQ tests. Yellorum poi solranga. :(
