RED DEVILS surely shows the so called "special one" how to play total football while winning the matches also.. and boy, we're gonna win d FA Cup too coming May 19 at New Wembley :exactly:
first the credit definately goes to Sir Alex Fergie to built his third generations of players in his glittering career as manager.. hail him.. wat a man, he always wanted to win every single matches and that makes him as one of the best managers if not the best
then, the credit goes to the Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo who with all the 'boos' by opposite fans, shows great sign of determination in playing some breath taking perfomance throughout the season.. 8-)
so to every member of the teams that play particularly well.. :D
this is one of the best moments personally for me after 4 years..

FERGIE THE SPECIAL WON
SO the title is back at Old Trafford after an absence of three seasons.
It has been a victory not just for Manchester United’s relative prudence over Chelsea’s halfbillion pound budget, but in Alex Ferguson’s belief that the beautiful game can still triumph over raw power and aggression.
It also confirmed Ferguson’s dominance in his personal duel with Jose Mourinho.
Over the 10 months, Ferguson had both the man-management skills and self-control that slowly deserted his closest rival.
Like his team, he had class and style when it counted.
Crucially, he had a belief in his team Mourinho clearly never did.
Even before a ball had been kicked, the Manchester United boss had to iron out the ill-feeling between Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.
It seemed at one stage Ronaldo would be on his way out of Old Trafford after his controversial run-in with his United team-mate at the World Cup.
Ferguson got the pair in, appealed to their better nature, reaffirmed his belief they were the two essential pillars of the new United — and let them get on with it.
From the moment the pair set each other up for goals in an opening-day 5-1 thrashing of Fulham, whatever problems there may have been were firmly in the past.
If there was one key to the success that would follow, it was this.
Between them, Rooney and Ronaldo have so far scored 31 Premiership goals between them — and created countless more.
Compare this to Mourinho’s failure to come to grips with the challenge of assimilating Andriy Shevchenko and Michael Ballack into his side.
Yes, these players were foisted on him by owner Roman Abramovich.
Had he had his own way, neither would have been taken on by a manager who was against the superstar culture — and had won successive titles without any need to resort to it.
But, having been landed with Shevchenko and Ballack, it was part of Mourinho’s job to get the best out of them.
However much sympathy you have for him, he clearly failed on this score.
But, as the season went on, this sympathy began to evaporate.
If things went wrong, it was rarely Mourinho’s fault.
While Ferguson had bought well — Nemanja Vidic in defence and Michael Carrick in midfield — Chelsea failed to fill basic holes in the squad.
For one reason or another, they were unable to provide Didier Drogba with a goalscoring partner while, at the back, Mourinho quickly bemoaned a lack of cover for John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho. Even when Khalid Boulahrouz arrived, Mourinho let it be known the player wasn’t his choice.
But, surely, the Chelsea manager must have been responsible for something in the transfer market?
Paulo Ferreira or Shaun WrightPhillips, perhaps?
Mourinho, though, never referred to their shortcomings.
Arjen Robben didn’t escape, either, with Mourinho questioning his ability to string more than a handful of appearances together.
All this squabbling added to behind-the-scenes friction and the already strained relationship between Mourinho and Abramovich.
Ferguson, typically, never once questioned the players under his command.
Even when they struggled for results at times, he provided reassurance rather than pointing the finger.
He showed loyalty to all his players — and got it back in return.
As such, he was able to say after Saturday’s 1-0 win at Manchester City: “What you saw today was human courage. It wasn’t a great performance but we got through it.”
A few days earlier, he had held his hands up and admitted United were very much second-best after their 3-0 whipping by AC Milan. Here was another field in which Ferguson heavily outscored Mourinho. Class in adversity.
Mourinho, on the other hand, came up with the preposterous nonsense that the best side had lost the other Champions League semi-final. He should listen to his own fans sometimes.
Yet, by this time, Mourinho was heading off the rails.
He saw conspiracies everywhere and responded with a scatter-gun attack on anyone who caught his eye.
Worst of all was his highly-personalised criticism of fellow countryman Ronaldo. A man who himself was brought up amid wealth and a certain opulence, had the temerity to refer to Ronaldo’s lack of intelligence and poor upbringing.
Ferguson, ever the Govan-raised Socialist, nailed Mourinho with the words: “There are people from very poor backgrounds who have principles.
“Whereas there are others who are educated but have no principles at
all. That, without question, is the case here.”
Finally, Ferguson was again the winner when it came to the football produced by the two sides.
Chelsea won their first title in 2004-2005 with 72 goals and a style with which few could quibble.
But over the last two seasons it has grown increasingly grim.
Recently, it has been little more than Route One. United, though, have stuck to their traditional values.
Ferguson, always a romantic, has got his team playing the sort of football admired throughout the game.
And yet you felt for Chelsea at the Emirates yesterday.
With Boulahrouz red-carded after conceding the penalty that gave Arsenal the lead just before the break — more confirmation of Mourinho’s initial judgment on the defender — Chelsea produced one of their most spirited second-half displays of the season.
With a bit of luck, they could have taken the title race into Wednesday’s game with United at Stamford Bridge.
Ferguson, who watched the last 15 minutes on TV, admitted as much and congratulated Chelsea on making such a good fight of it.
Mourinho, though, couldn’t bring himself to admit United had proved themselves the best.
He said only the statistics said that — and went into another one of those self-justifying diatribes about how the fates had conspired against him and his team all season.
At times like this you need a bit of style. While his team went out like champions, Mourinho didn’t.
He’s better than this.
VIVA UNITED  [/tscii:757c0f8fa9]

Haha...come on Kimi.. They won the games and collected points. If we talk about deserving in terms of playing quality football, then it would hurt their fans. But they had luck in their side with no big injuries. I would anyday prefer Man utd winning EPL over Chelsea's hattrick! Moaninho has proven he could be worse than Fergie with his silly rants and mind games. And Finally, Rooney and ronaldo had a great season.
But hey, Lets hope Liverpool win the UCL. :D

I have to say im glad Utd won (not just because i support them) they play more interesting and exciting football and even though they were eclipised by Milan in the second leg they still played more exciting football then Chelsea did over the two legs in their semi final. I am never one to run around gloating about a "great victory" or the ner ner na ner ner they won thing because it usually comes back in your face. At the end of the day i think its the passion which won the league money helps of course but the drive and determination of players like Rooney and Scholes is invaluable. I also think some of the way Chelssea spends money mirrors how Real Madrid have, buy up all the talent and you will win. I realise that Chelsea havent failed on anything like the same scale as RM have but it shows money doesnt always make you the best. The only thing i think is a disappointment is MU wont get to beat Chelsea at home for the league like Arsenal did to us a few years back, ah well its a hard life
If Mourinho sorts out his issues with Abramovich and Chelsea keep the spine of their team fit, next seasons title race could well be even closer. If United are going to defend their title I think they need another striker and some more cover in central midfield and central defence (Owen Hargreaves perhaps???......

To tell that Manutd had no big injuries is abit too far-fetched...i think the character and perseverance despite msising the whole first-team defence and losing most of their reserves leading to a over-stretched squad is worthy enough of the title.
That chelsea had big injuries is assumed...they lost john terry and they had a bad run of draws which ultimately outdid them...they only started losing their best player drogba after the liverpool semifinal second leg clash...and their midfield with the exception of ballack has always been intact...sour grapes rather than proper credit i guess :D

Possible. But the kid should reduce his showboating.
Something which Messi can do while being effective. But he is injury prone.
Something which Kaka doesn't need to play effectively.
Of course, Ronaldo can improve. I hope he doesn't end up being a failure. He might actually be a rightful successor to Portugese legends like Figo and Rui Costa.

THREE GAMES TO JOIN MAN UTD
source:thesun.co.uk
MICHAEL OWEN has three games to clinch an £11million move to Manchester United.
The Newcastle striker must prove his fitness with England this summer.
United boss Alex Ferguson will monitor Owen when he plays for England B against Andorra next Friday.
The little hitman will be in the squad for the friendly with Brazil at Wembley on June 1.
Then comes the big one — the Euro 2008 qualifier in Estonia on June 6.
Despite reports to the contrary, Owen’s get-out clause from Newcastle is £11m.
Owen, 27, has had horrendous injury problems since signing for Newcastle for £16m from Real Madrid in August 2005.
The former Liverpool striker broke a metatarsal on New Year’s Eve — and made only one more appearance for the Toon that season, at Birmingham in April.
He still went to the World Cup but damaged knee ligaments and was sidelined again until last month.
Owen’s Toon tally is 14 games, with seven goals. Newcastle are furious their star man is prepared to exercise his escape clause after such a poor return.
New boss Sam Allardyce has also made it clear he wants talks with Owen as soon as possible in a bid to keep him.[/tscii:946bf959a6]

United plan £39m Berba bid
MANCHESTER UNITED are planning to table a massive offer of £27.5million plus Louis Saha for Tottenham’s Dimitar Berbatov.
On the day Owen Hargreaves completed his Old Trafford medical, the Reds were set to launch an incredible move worth £39m.
United hope they can persuade Spurs to release their star man by offering £11.5m-rated Saha plus the huge cash sum.
Spurs paid Bayer Leverkusen £10.9m for the Bulgarian international last summer.
Yesterday, Berbatov’s agent Emil Dantchev refused to confirm the player would be at White Hart Lane next season.
Dantchev said: “In football you do not know what will happen tomorrow.”
Spurs are trying to get Berbatov to sign a new six-year contract, doubling his £22,000-a-week deal. United could more than treble it to £70,000 a week.
Berbatov, 26, was a sensation in his first Premiership season, hitting 23 goals and winning rave reviews.
He also has 26 goals in 44 games for Bulgaria.
Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo hit 46 between them for United but boss Alex Ferguson believes Berbatov would be the ideal frontman for the pair to play off.
Hargreaves has played for Bayern Munich against Berbatov in the Bundesliga.
He said: “This season Berbatov has been a breath of fresh air in English football, he just makes the game look so easy at times.”

United splash £31m on whizkids
MANCHESTER UNITED splashed out an amazing £31million on two superkids yesterday.
The Premiership champions signed Brazilian Anderson, 19, for £17m from Porto and Sporting Lisbon’s Nani, 20, for £14m.
A United statement read: “Terms are agreed with both players and an announcement will take place once a medical and other procedures are done.”
A day of drama started when United No 2 Carlos Queiroz and chief executive David Gill met with Sporting directors yesterday morning and offered £10m for Portuguese winger Nani, 20.
The Old Trafford contingent then left for Porto believing they had all but agreed the transfer.
They went on to complete the move for striker Anderson, 19.
United then learned Sporting met with Spurs sporting director Damien Comolli three hours after they had left.
Spurs believed they had nicked Nani with a bid which equalled his buy-out clause of £14m.
But, crucially, Nani’s agent, Jorge Mendes, did not meet with Comolli.
Mendes is also Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent and, coincidentally, also represents Anderson.
Mendes is believed to have travelled to Porto to complete the Anderson deal. Porto announced the £17m fee to the Stock Exchange. But United would not be beaten on Nani, either.
After learning of Spurs’ bid, they matched the offer and a deal was struck.
Nani had made it clear he would only sign for the Old Trafford club.
Hitman Anderson has been one of the most sought-after young talents since he was crowned player of the tournament in the 2005 World Under-17 Championships.
He was recently named in Brazil’s preliminary squad for this summer’s Copa America — but not tomorrow’s friendly with England at Wembley.
United manager Alex Ferguson also expects to wrap up the signing of Bayern Munich’s England midfielder Owen Hargreaves, 26, this weekend for £17m.
This would take Fergie’s summer spree to £48m — and he still wants to sign another striker.
Sources close to Fergie say he will play a 4-2-3-1 formation next season — using Ronaldo, Anderson and Nani as his three attacking midfielders behind Wayne Rooney.

I know, plus he is a winger. What we want is a central midfielder who can score 10 + goals

[tscii:f6653da2bc]Lyon keeper Hugo Lloris is at the top of his wanted list at a cost of £15m - and Ferguson is considering making a bid before the World Cup in order to avoid the Frenchman's value sky-rocketing on the back of a successful tournament.
Schalke's Manuel Neuer is an option with United goalkeeping coach Eric Steele making a personal check on the German international recently. But Ferguson will be wary of entering an auction for the highly-rated 24-year-old, who is also a target for Bayern Munich.[/tscii:f6653da2bc]

[tscii:54701382df] Manchester United move in for Cole as Chelsea talks grind to halt
Manchester United are planning a shock move to sign Joe Cole on a free transfer next month as Chelsea prepare to let him leave for nothing at the end of his contract.Chelsea have not made contact with Cole’s advisers to discuss a new deal since the end of the season, leaving the England midfield player to conclude that he is no longer wanted at Stamford Bridge.
Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool have also expressed an interest in signing Cole, but the prospect of joining United would be difficult for him to turn down, despite his inclination to stay in London. Sir Alex Ferguson, the United manager, has followed Cole’s progress since he was a teenager, when he came through the ranks at West Ham United under Harry Redknapp, now the manager of Tottenham.
