No doting, fussing mom at hand on location. No over-bearing managers. Nayantara is one heroine who can hold her fort on her own. The never ending shooting of P.L.Thenappan’s Vallavan continues at the Prasad studio in Chennai. The red-hot title song in the film Vallavaa Vallavaa… was picturised on Simbu and Nayantara by choreographer Brinda.
Top fashion designer Chaitanya Rao has designed Nayantara and Simbu’s costumes. The pretty actress was wearing a skimpy asymmetrical skin coloured single piece halter neck. Nayan looks vivacious as she has lost almost 8 kilos and she was pretty confident to wear tight fitting clothes.

Simbu was wearing blue jeans with a skin coloured sleeveless vest. Later, like Salman Khan he discarded the vest as he sizzled with Nayan to the tunes of Yuvan Shankar Raja. Choreographer Brinda urged Nayan to look sexier as cameraman Priyan canned the shot. All the songs in Vallavan are said to be outstanding.

This title song is sure going to be a highlight of the film and Simbu is taking all care to make it different. Brinda seems to be inspired from the dancing classic “Dirty Dancing”, the musical and romantic film featuring the hunk Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey. Who can forget that lovely song in the film- “Have the time of your life….”

Well truly, Simbu and Nayan are having the time of their life making Vallavan.

Beg to differ. It was not NAYANTARA who overacted in KK. It was SJS who overacted to the core in KK and spoiled the film.. esp the scene in which he explains his condition and his views on the love of NAYANTARA to her father and that too in his shop was overacting to the core :banghead:

There is a burning hot rumour that Simbu and Nayantara are in love. Simbu adds fuel to it by taking more efforts to teach Nayan the dialogues of the film. About nayanthara not being able to act...i have a strong opposition to that...the girl may not be a very flamboyant actress...but she does have the ability to act..although there are not many films where there are a varied number of expressions...the part where she gets angry at SJ Surya for misbehaving with her in kalvanyn kadhali showed that she has some potential...her expressions are quite good...its just that her body language is so amateurish that spoils her acting talents.

A kulfi ice cream for Nayantara May 20, 2006

We have already said that Simbu prefers to work in the night rather than in the day. Much of the shooting of Vallavan is taking place in the night. Recently, while they were canning a shot, Nayantara looked tired and whispered something to Simbu. It is not a big secret; she wanted some Gulfi ice cream. When Nayan asks would Simbu wait? He instantly beckoned his assistant and sent him around the city. The assistant went around Chennai until he could spot one vendor.

He packed a few dozen Kulfi pieces and rushed to the shooting spot. Nayan was immensely pleased with Simbu’s way of cooling her down. By the way Vallavan is almost completing and the happiest man on the set is none other than the producer Thaenappan.
