The key to everything is patience. You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.
Life is a journey, not a guided tour.
When you lose do not lose the lesson.
Time is the coin of life. It's the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful, lest you let others spend it for you.
Talent is God-given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful.
Yesterday is already a dream, and tomorrow is only a vision, but today, well lived, makes every yesterday a dream of happiness and every tomorrow a vision of hope.

FIVE DON'TS when you are sleeping
DON'T SLEEP WITH WATCH
Watches can emit a certain level of radioactivity. Though small, but if you wear your watch to bed for a long time, it might have adverse effects on your health.
DON'T SLEEP WITH PHONE
Putting the phone beside your bed or anywhere near you is not encouraged. Though some of us will use phones as alarm clocks, but please put the phone as far as possible. Scientists have proved that electrical items including mobile phone and television sets emit magnetic waves when used. These waves can cause disruptions to our nervous system. Therefore if you need to put your mobile phone near you, switch it off first.
DON'T SLEEP WITH MAKE UP
People who sleep with make up might have skin problems in the long run. Sleeping with make up will cause the skin to have difficulty in breathing and problem in perspiring. You will also need a much longer time to go into deep sleep.
Applies to men who use make up too.
DON'T SLEEP WITH BRA
Scientists in America have discovered those that wear bras for more than12 hours have a higher risk of getting breast cancer. So go to bed without it.
Mostly applies to women and maybe some men?
DON'T SLEEP WITH OTHERS' WIFE
You may never wake up again.
Mostly applies to men, but then again, who am I to say?

If you want to have a fantastic life, never engage yourself in these 7 deadly habits that incompetent people do by Michael Lee .
NUMBER 1 - They Think, Say, & Do Negative Things.
Yup. They see problems in every opportunity.
They complain that the sun is too hot. They cursed the rain for ruining their plans for the day. They blame the wind for ruining their hair.
They think that everyone is against them. They see the problems but never the solutions.
Every little bit of difficulty is exaggerated to the point of tragedy. They regard failures as catastrophes. They become discouraged easily instead of learning from their mistakes.
They never seem to move forward because they're always afraid to come out of their comfort zones.
NUMBER 2 - They Act Before They Think.
They move based on instinst or impulse. If they see something they like, they buy at once without any second thought.
Then they see something better. They regret & curse for not able to take advantage of the bargain.
Then they spend & spend again until nothing's left. They don't think about the future. What they're after is the pleasure they will experience at present.
They don't think about the consequenses. Those who engage in unsafe sex, criminality, and the like are included in this group.
NUMBER 3 - They Talk Much More Than They Listen
They want to be the star of the show. So they always engage in talks that would make them heroes, even to the point of lying.
Oftentimes they are not aware that what they're saying is not sensible anymore.
When other people advise them, they close their ears because they're too proud to admit their mistakes.
In their mind they're always correct. They reject suggestions because that will make them feel inferior.
NUMBER 4 - They Give Up Easily
Successful people treat failures as stepping stones to success.
Incompetent ones call it quits upon recognizing the first signs of failure.
At first, they may be excited to start an endeavor. But then they lose interest fairly quickly, especially when they encounter errors.
Then they go & search for a new one. Same story & same results. Incompetent people don't have the persistence to go on and fulfill their dreams.
NUMBER 5 - They Try to Bring Others Down To Their Level
Incompetent people envy other successful individuals. Instead of working hard to be like them, these incompetent ones spread rumors and try every dirty trick to bring them down.
They could've asked these successful ones nicely. But no, they're too proud. They don't want to ask advise. Moreover, they're too negative to accomplish anything.
NUMBER 6 - They Waste Their Time
They don't know what to do next. They may just be contented on eating, getting drunk, watching TV, or worse, staring at the blank wall with no thoughts whatsoever to improve their lives.
It's perfectly fine to enjoy once in a while. But time should be managed efficiently in order to succeed. There should be a proper balance between work & pleasure.
NUMBER 7 - They Take the Easy Way Out
If there are two roads to choose from, incompetent people would choose the wider road with less rewards than the narrower road with much better rewards at the end.
They don't want any suffering or hardship. They want a good life.
What these people don't know is that what you reap is what you sow. Efforts & action will not go unnoticed.
If only they would be willing to sacrifice a little, they would be much better off.
Successful people made it through trials & error. They never give up. They are willing to do everything necessary to achieve what they aspire for in life.

Anger is a silent killer. Here are some basic dos and don'ts to keep in mind when you are feeling angry:
Do speak up when an issue is important to you.
Obviously, we do not have to address personally every injustice and irritation that comes along. To simply let something go can be an act of maturity. But it is a mistake to stay silent if the cost is to feel bitter, resentful or unhappy. We de-self ourselves when we fail to take a stand on issues that matter to us.
Don't strike while the iron is hot.
A good fight will clear the air in some relationships, but if your goal is to change an entrenched pattern, the worst time to speak up may be when you are feeling angry or intense. If your fires start rising in the middle of a conversation, you can always say, "I need a little time to sort my thoughts out. Let's set up another time to talk about it more." Seeking temporary distance is not the same as cold withdrawal or an emotional cutoff.
Do take time out to think and clarify your position.
Before you speak out, ask yourself the following questions: What is it about the situation that makes me angry? What is the real issue here? Where do I stand? What do I want to accomplish? Who is responsible for what? What, specifically, do I want to change? What are the things I will and will not do?
Don't use "below-the-belt" tactics.
These include: blaming, interpreting, diagnosing, labeling, analyzing, preaching, moralizing, ordering, warning, interrogating, ridiculing and lecturing.
Do speak in "I" language.
Learn to say, "I think..." "I feel... "I fear..." "I want..." A true "I" statement says something about the self without criticizing or blaming the other person and without holding the other person responsible for our feelings or reactions. Watch out for disguised "you" statements or pseudo"I" statements. ("I think you are controlling and self-centered.")
Don't make vague requests.
("I want you to be more sensitive to my needs.")
Let the other person know specifically what you want. ("The best way you can help me now is simply to listen. I really don't want advice at this time.") Don't expect people to anticipate your needs or do things that you have not requested. Even those who love you can't read your mind.
Do try to appreciate the fact that people are different.
We move away from fused relationships when we recognize that there are as many ways of seeing the world as there are people in it. If you're fighting about who has the "truth," you may be missing the point. Different perspectives and ways of reacting do not necessarily mean that one person is "right" and the other "wrong."
Don't tell another what they think or feel or "should" think or feel. If another person gets angry in reaction to a change you make, don't criticize their feelings or tell them they have no right to be angry. Better to say, "I understand that you're angry, and if I were in your shoes, perhaps I'd be angry too. But I've thought it over and this is my decision." Remember that one person's right to be angry does not mean that the other person is to blame.
Don't participate in intellectual arguments that go nowhere. Don't spin your wheels trying to convince others of the "rightness" of your position. If the other person is not hearing you, simply say, "Well, it may sound crazy to you, but this is how I feel." Or, "I understand that you disagree, but I guess we see the problem differently."
Do try to avoid speaking through a third party.
If you are angry with your brother's behavior, don't say, "I think my daughter felt terrible when you didn't find the time to come to her school play." Instead try "I was upset when you didn't come. You're important to me and I really wanted you to be there."
Don't expect change to come about from hit-and-run confrontations. Change occurs slowly in close relationships. If you make even a small change, you will be tested many times to see if you .really mean it." Don't get discouraged if you fall on your face several times as you try to put theory into practice. You may find that you start out fine but then blow it when things heat up. Getting derailed is just part of the process, so be patient with yourself. You will have many opportunities to get back on track...and try again.

THE SOLUTIONS TO LIFE'S 10 Biggest Problems
Every day clients tell me about their problems, often in great detail, and I've noticed patterns that show up over and over. For many people, life's problems are viewed as "not enough money" or "not enough time".
For couples, the problems are often around "communication" or "parenting" . They think if they only had more money or more time or a better job, things would be wonderful.
But it doesn't work that way, because these things are not the BIG PROBLEM. From my experience, I suggest life's really big problems are:
1. Tunnel Vision. The tendency to focus only on the immediate crisis or sore spot.Under stress, things look worse or more complex than they really are.
The solution: Perspective. Ask if it will matter in 6 months. Ask what else is going on? How did I create this situation and, in an ideal world, what would I like to do about it?
2. Fear. The anxiety or terror that things will go badly, that we will fail or be embarrassed.
The solution: Humor and Curiosity. Modern life has very few saber-tooth tigers. The situation is rarely life or death. Ask, What's the worst that can happen? What's the best? What can I learn? What would I do if I had no fear?
3. Confusion. The sense of being lost or unclear about our direction. The sense that we don't know our own priorities anymore.
The solution: Responsible Choices. Choose your values and priorities and set your own path. Your life is yours. Check your moral compass, pick a direction and do something extraordinary!
4. Guilt. The belief that we have hurt or failed or sinned and deserve punishment.Guilt is either accurate, because sometimes we do behave badly, or it is false and simply an illusion.
The solution: If we have transgressed, we must make restitution, ask forgiveness, learn from our error and move on. If it is false guilt, set it down as an unnecessary and irrational burden.
5. Shame. The belief that we are worth-less than others, that we have a terrible, incurable flaw. It is not that we have done
something wrong (guilt), but that we are bad or wrong.
The solution: Clear, rational thinking. Everyone has behaved badly, but no one was created badly! Any flaws only serve to make you stronger, more heroic or more compassionate toward others.
6. Loneliness. The belief that no one loves us, that no one cares and we must desperately cling to anyone who finds us attractive or acceptable. This creates dependency, not intimacy.
The solution: Accurate Self-Assessment. Not everyone will love you, but many people will if they meet you, get to know you, and spend time working/playing along side you.
7. Resentment. Holding anger and refusing to move beyond real or imagined mistreatment in the past. Some people spend their whole lives as "victims", nurturing a terrible event in their past.
The solution: Let go! Life is not fair and people do not always behave well or kindly. Use your trauma to make you wise, kind, gentle, and strong. Holding anger will not work.
8. Self-Doubt. The repeated, endless questioning of your own abilities, opinions or actions. The inability to take a stand, to act boldly, or to follow-through.
The solution: Action! Think clearly, then take action and follow-through. Start small, but do it! You are the world's expert on your
life! Use your wisdom to live well.
9. Stubbornness. The refusal or inability to re-assess a situation, change your mind, or admit you were wrong.
The solution: Wisdom and Humility. Only a fool stays on a course that is headed for disaster! Search for new and better information, remain flexible, open and creative. When the situation changes, adjust accordingly and set a new course.
10. Addiction. Humans become addicted to drugs, but we also become addicted to our jobs, our opinions or our lifestyle. We can be addicted to people and need them rather than love them.
The solution: Take a vacation! Periodically, walk in someone else's shoes. Break your habits, re-arrange your schedule, delegate those things that only you can do "right". Use habits and traditions to set you free, don't let habits enslave you!

A person needs only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and it shouldn't, use the tape.
When baking, follow directions. When cooking, go by your own taste.
The five most essential words for a healthy, vital relationship: "I apologize" and "You are right."
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
When you make a mistake, make amends immediately. It's easier to eat crow while it's still warm.
If he or she says that you are too good for him -- believe it.
I've learned to pick my battles; I ask myself, "Will this matter one year from now? How about one month? One week? One day?"
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another chance!
Living well really is the best revenge.
Being miserable because of a bad or former relationship just proves that the other person was right about you.
Be really nice to your friends because you never know when you are going to need them to empty your bed pan and hold your hand.
Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect; it just means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

FROM A FATHER TO HIS SON'S TEACHERS
"He will have to learn, I know, that all men are not just and are not true. But teach him if you can, the wonder of books.. but also give him quiet time to ponder the eternal mystery of birds in the sky, bees in the sun and flowers on a green hillside. In school, teach him it is far more honorable to fail than to cheat.....
Teach to have faith in his own ideas, even if everyone tells him he is wrong.
Teach him to be gentle with gentle people and tough with the tough.
Try to give my son the strength not to follow the crowd when
everyone getting on the bandwagon...
Teach him to listen to all men; but teach him also to filter all he hears on a screen of truth, and take only the good that comes through.
Teach him, if you can, how to laugh when he is sad...
Teach him there is no shame in tears. Teach him to scoff at cynics and to be beware of too much sweetness.. Teach him to sell his brawn and brain to highest bidders, but never to put a price on his heart and soul. Teach him to close his ears to a howling mob.. and stand and fight if thinks he is right.
Treat him gently, but do not cuddle him, because only the best of fire makes fine steel. Let him have the courage to be impatient.. Let him have the patience to be brave. Teach him always to have sublime faith in himself, because then he will have faith in humankind.
This is a big order, but see what you can do. .
He is such a fine little fellow my son!

1. Don't think of problems as difficulties.
Think of them as opportunities for action.
2. After you've done your best to deal with a situation, avoid speculating about the outcome.
Forget it and go onto the next thing..
3. Keep busy. Keep the 24 hours of your day filled with these three ingredients: work, recreation, sleep.
Don't allow yourself time for abstract thinking.
4. Don't concern yourself with things you can't do anything about.
Armchair generals don't win battles, but they do have nervous breakdowns.
5. For the time being anyway, eliminate daydreaming completely.
Stop building air castles.
6. Don't procrastinate. Putting off an unpleasant task until tomorrow simply gives you more time for your imagination to make a mountain out a possible molehill. More time for anxiety to sap your self-confidence. Do it now, brother, do it now.
7. Don't pour woes and anxieties to other people. You don't want their sympathy...it'll merely make it easy for you to feel sorrier for yourself.
8. Get up as soon as you wake up. If you lie in bed, you may use up as much nervous energy living your day in advance as you could in actual accomplishment of the day's work.
9. Try to arrange your schedule so that you will not have to hurry.
Hurry, a blood brother to worry, helps shatter poise and self-confidence, and contributes to fear and anxiety.
10. If a project seems too big, break it up into simple steps of action. Then negotiate those steps-link rungs in a ladder...one at a time. And don't allow yourself to think about the difficulties of step number two until you've executed step number one.

HOW A SON/DAUGHTER THINKS OF HIS/HER DADDY AT DIFFERENT AGES:
At 4 Years
My daddy is great.
At 6 Years
My daddy knows everybody.
At 10 Years
My daddy is good but is short tempered
At 12 Years
My daddy was very nice to me when I was young.

My daddy is getting fastidious.
At 16 Years
My daddy is not in line with the current times.
At 18 Years
My daddy is becoming increasingly cranky.
At 20 Years
Oh! Its becoming difficult to tolerate daddy. Wonder how Mother puts up with him.
At 25 Years
Daddy is objecting to everything.
At 30 Years
It's becoming difficult to manage my son. I was so scared of my father when I was young.
At 40 Years
Daddy brought me up with so much discipline. Even I should do the same.
At 45 Years
I am baffled as to how my daddy brought us up.
At 50 Years
My daddy faced so many hardships to bring us up. I am unable to manage a single son.
At 55 Years
My daddy was so far sighted and planned so many things for us. He is one of his kind and unique.
At 60 Years
My daddy is great.
Thus, it took 56 years to complete the cycle and come back to the 1st. stage.

A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $ 100 note.
In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $ 100 note?".
Hands started going up.
He said, "I am going to give this note to one of you but first let me do this.". He proceeded to crumple the note up.
He then asked, "Who still wants it?".
Still the hands were up in the air.
"Well," he replied, "What if I do this?".
And he dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe.He picked it up, now all crumpled and dirty.
"Now who still wants it?"
Still the hands went into the air.
"My friends, you have all learned a very valuable lesson.
No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $ 100/-.
Many times in ur lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way.
We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
You are special Don't ever forget it!
Never let yesterday's disappointments overshadow tomorrow's dreams.

The 8 Secrets to a Rich and Fulfilling Life
Life is not a dress rehearsal. You have this one opportunity to live an extraordinary life that you love. You have this one body, this one mind, and this one soul. Each moment of life is extremely precious because this exact life will never be repeated and it could be our last. We never really know how long we will be a part of this planet.
When you live your life fully without holding back or holding on, you automatically manifest more prosperity because you are open and ready to receive new opportunities. You can easily move forward and take inspired actions everyday instead of procrastinating because you're so excited you just can't help it! When you jump on to the playing field of your life you become very attractive (like a magnet) because you're not just watching life from the sidelines. You are consciously participating in life! Everyone is attracted to this type of energy because deep down they too want to be engaged, inspired, and actively participating in their life. Making this choice to participate energizes you, sending out a strong manifesting vibration to the Universe.
Here are 8 secrets that will reconnect with the fullness and richness of life you deserve!
1. Do something this week that you have always wanted to do, yet have
previously feared or resisted doing. For instance, you could take a pottery class,
learn to belly dance, go skiing, fly a kite, write a poem, meet someone new, start learning a foreign language, etc..
2. Create time everyday to connect with people, nature, and yourself. As a society we are either working or entertaining ourselves. We rarely take time out from our busy lives to connect deeply with ourselves, and have a NEW experience of this world we live in. When was the last time you walked outside in nature, and connected with the trees, the sky, the flowers, etc.? When was the last time you spent quality time just hanging out sharing inspiring stories, having fun and laughing with your spouse or children? Quality time means we are truly ALIVE and happens only when we are engaging in a meaningful d real dialogue without the distractions of the TV, newspaper, or the cell phone.
3. Call a friend or family member and tell them how much you love them, and how they have enriched your life.
4. Forgive somebody who has wronged you in the past. Grudges only drain and harm you, while forgiveness brings you peace and joy.
5. Clear out some space in your busy calendar so that you can enjoy life today,
instead of waiting for a better tomorrow to arrive.
6. Just say "no" to activities and tasks that no longer inspire you! Delegate or eliminate energy drains from your life so that you can take time to relax and smell the roses.
7. Take time out to admire the sunset each day. This helps you reconnect with the awe and beauty of the world we live in.
8. Begin manifesting your dreams, instead of dreaming about your dreams. Write down
your dreams and work with a coach, mentor, or trusted friend to make those dreams come true. It often takes supportive partnership to help you overcome the obstacles blocking you from manifesting your dreams and desires.
And always remember this famous
"For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today -- well-lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day!
Such is the salutation of the dawn!"

Conform to fashion norm when in corporate world
By S.S. YOGA
IN the corporate world, you should not stand out when it comes to dressing. You should follow the norm.
Now, that's a surprise as in the dog-eat-dog world of business, one would think you should do anything to give yourself the extra edge.
Well, that was the advice that style guru Tan Su Cheng (who is an interior designer by profession) was dishing out to selected guests at the Raoul/Men's Folio workshop on grooming for men recently at a swanky hotel in Kuala Lumpur, recently.
He first told the audience that to dress for success, one must have a personal style and image, in essence be unique but be true to oneself.
Tan said a best-dressed man looks outstanding but people don't really know why.
He said in the conservative corporate world like banking and finance, one must be subtle in the dressing and not stand out too much.
"The suit should be grey or blue or even with subtle pinstripes of dark-shades, of charcoal. The tie should be conservative. It's all in the attitude for the mindset is to be a winner," said Tan.
For short people (or the politically correct vertically-challenged) the advice is to wear more colour and stronger tones.
Be careful when choosing your tie. While for those taller in stature should go for neutrals and grey unless one is the host or a speaker and should stand out a bit.
As for suits, Tan advises those with shorter stature to have the suit just barely covering the buttocks and the lapels pointing open, to frame the face better, have tighter shoulders and use a three or four button jacket.
There should be a gap of 1.25cm between the suit cuffs and the shirt cuff (which should be exposed).
As for the material - wool, wool, wool - nothing else will do.
Those of medium height are advised to go for four- or six-button, double-breasted jacket.
For those taller - say more than 1.83m (that's 6 feet for you older folks out there) - the suit should be much longer and heavier.
Again, it should be double-breasted with four buttons instead of six.
Tan likens the suit to good armour for it makes one look stronger or those who are of heavier built, slimmer.
Oh, another tip from Tan - never button the last button on your jacket/suit. Why? He said the style goes back to King Edward VII who was so fatthat he couldn't button up the last one so it became a fashion that just stuck on until today.
And do you know why there is a slit on the back of a suit?
It was to enable one to ride a horse in comfort when it was a mode of transportation in the olden days.
As for shirts, never buy one that makes you look larger and there's no detail more important than the collar.
If you have a small face, don't wear a shirt with a big collar because it will make your face look even smaller.
The seam at the shoulder should not drop more than 1.5cm below the shoulder otherwise it will look too big for you.
The shirt cuff should never cover the hands. Those with small frame, said Tan, should wear stiff shirts, brighter colours and use shell buttons.
"If you are using a stripped shirt, the strip should follow all way down even with a pocket - it should not be disjointed where it meets the pocket in other words."
Be careful with the choice of ties - it should suit the colour of your skin. And ties should always be silk for when you store it away it still retains its shape while with other materials, you will see fold marks and so on.
With a button-down collar or wing-tip collar, the tie should have a single knot.
Tan's advice is to stick to the classics and the knot must be tied tight enough to allow only two fingers inside the collar. More than that, it is too loose.
For those who are in the creative line like architects, designers and advertising people, there is more leeway on how you dress. It should, said Tan, reveal your personality and character.
On the other hand, those in the information technology business have to project trustworthiness. Comfort is also a factor.
Checked shirts, said Tan, seemed to be equated with intellectuals.
And when all else fails, just like the women, one can always fall back to the basic black.
Your shoes should match your belt and the shoes should have leather sole inlay.
So that's a start - are you up to the dress code? Or would you rather be you and go with your own style and rules. The choice is yours.

[tscii:48862fd545]Learn to laugh at yourself. Nothing immunises you both from everyday frustrations more than a healthy sense of humour. Why be uptight and make the ride ahead bumpy?
Let it go already. Relationships are challenging enough without the added burden of keeping past issues alive. Forgive, forget, move on.
Throw away your scoreboard. If you want to guarantee ongoing frustration, keep a score of what you do and your partner doesn’t do. Try the opposite if you want different results.
Be a low-maintenance partner. Guard against being demanding and emotionally needy all the time. Aim at a sanctuary, not a war zone.

[tscii:cb4ad786cd]Tips for Happiness
1. Make mistakes. If you don’t make mistakes, you’re not really doing your best.
2. Do your best.
3. Tell your parents and children at least once a year what you really think.
4. One evening a week unplug everything and turn off the phone. Light candles, drink wine and eat nuts.
5. Buy two hammocks: one for the garden and one for inside your house.
6. Every so often when you’re out walking, put some change in a parking metre that’s nearly empty.
7. Think about how you want to live on in the memories of family and friends. Try to find ways to live up to that image.
8. Let the phone ring a couple of times before answering.
9. Dance in the elevator when you’re alone.
10. Don’t be fanatic about anything. [/tscii:cb4ad786cd]

Maturity is the ability to handle frustration, control anger and settle differences without violence or destruction.
Maturity is patience. It is the willingness to postpone gratification, to pass up the immediate pleasure or profit in favor of the long-term gain.
Maturity is perseverance, sweating out a project or a situation in spite of opposition and discouraging setbacks.
Maturity is unselfishness, responding to the needs of others.
Maturity is the capacity to face unpleasantness and disappointment without becoming bitter.
Maturity is the gift of remaining calm in the face of chaos. This means peace not only for ourselves, but for those with whom we live, and for those whose lives touch ours.
Maturity is the ability to disagree without being disagreeable.
Maturity is humility. A mature person is able to say, "I was wrong." He/She is also able to say, "I am sorry." And when he/she is proven right, he/she does not have to say, "I told you so."
Maturity is the ability to make a decision, to act on that decision, and to accept full responsibility for the outcome.
Maturity means dependability, integrity, keeping one's word. The immature have excuses for everything. They are the chronically tardy, the no-shows, the gutless wonders who fold in the crises. Their lives are a maze of broken promises, unfinished business and former friends.
Maturity is the ability to live in peace with that which we cannot change.

Swami Vivekananda's 15 Laws of Life :
1. Love Is The Law Of Life:
All love is expansion, all selfishness is contraction.
Love is therefore the only law of life. He who loves lives, he who is selfish is dying. Therefore, love for love's sake, because it is law of life, just as you breathe to live.
2. It's Your Outlook That Matters:
It is our own mental attitude, which makes the world what it is for us. Our thoughts make things beautiful, our thoughts make things ugly. The whole world is in our own minds. Learn to see things in the proper light.
3. Life is Beautiful:
First, believe in this world - that there is meaning behind everything. Everything in the world is good, is holy and beautiful. If you see something evil, think that you do not understand it in the right light.
Throw the burden on yourselves!
4. It's The Way You Feel:
Feel like Christ and you will be a Christ; feel like Buddha and you will be a Buddha. It is feeling that is the life, the strength, the vitality, without which no amount of intellectual activity can reach God.
5. Set Yourself Free:
The moment I have realized God sitting in the temple of every human body, the moment I stand in reverence before every human being and see God in him - that moment I am free from bondage, everything that binds vanishes, and I am free.
6. Don't Play The Blame Game:
Condemn none: if you can stretch out a helping hand, do so. If you cannot, fold your hands, bless your brothers, and let them go their own way.
7. Help Others:
If money helps a man to do good to others, it is of some value; but if not, it is simply a mass of evil, and the sooner it is got rid of, the better.
8. Uphold Your Ideals:
Our duty is to encourage every one in his struggle to live up to his own highest idea, and strive at the same time to make the ideal as near as possible to the Truth.
9. Listen To Your Soul:
You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher but your own soul.
10. Be Yourself:
The greatest religion is to be true to your own nature. Have faith in yourselves!
11. Nothing Is Impossible:
Never think there is anything impossible for the soul.
It is the greatest heresy to think so. If there is sin, this is the only sin - to say that you are weak, or others are weak.
12. You Have The Power:
All the powers in the universe are already ours. It is we who have put our hands before our eyes and cry that it is dark.
13. Learn Everyday:
The goal of mankind is knowledge... now this knowledge is inherent in man. No knowledge comes from outside: it is all inside. What we say a man 'knows', should, in strict psychological language, be what he 'discovers' or 'unveils'; what man 'learns' is really what he discovers by taking the cover off his own soul, which is a mine of infinite knowledge.
14. Be Truthful:
Everything can be sacrificed for truth, but truth cannot be sacrificed for anything.
15. Think Different:
All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.

Imagine you're in Kuala Lumpur International Airport. While you're waiting for your flight, you notice a kiosk selling shortbread biscuits. You buy a box, put them in your traveling bag and then you patiently search for an available seat so you can sit down and enjoy your biscuits.
Finally you find a seat next to a gentleman. You reach down into your traveling bag and pull out your box of shortbread biscuits.
As you do so, you notice that the gentleman starts watching you intensely. He stares as you open the box and his eyes follow your hand as you pick up the biscuit and bring it to your mouth. Just then he reaches over and takes one of your biscuits from the box, and eats it!
You're more than a little surprised at this. Actually, you're at a loss for words. Not only does he take one biscuit, but he alternates with you. For every one biscuit you take, he takes one.
Now, what's your immediate impression of this guy?
Crazy? Greedy?
He's got some nerve?! Can you imagine the words you might use to describe this man to your associates back at the office?
Meanwhile, you both continue eating the biscuits until there's just
one left. To your surprise, the man reaches over and takes it. But then he does something unexpected. He breaks it in half, and gives half to you. After he's finished with his half he gets up, and
without a word, he leaves.
You think to yourself, "Did this really happen?"
You're left sitting there dumbfounded and still hungry. So you go back to the kiosk and buy another box of biscuits. You then return to your seat and begin opening your new box of biscuits when you glance down into your traveling bag. Sitting there in your bag is your original box of biscuits - still unopened.
Only then do you realise that when you reached down earlier, you had reached into the other man's bag, and grabbed his box of biscuits by mistake.
Now what do you think of the man? Generous? Tolerant?
You've just experienced a profound paradigm shift. You're seeing things from a new point of view. Is it time to change your point of view?
Now, think of this story as it relates to your life.
Seeing things from a new point of view can be very enlightening.

The 90/10 Principle
Author: Stephen Covey Management Guru
Discover the 90/10 Principle. It will change your life
(at least the way you react to situations). What is
this principle?
10% of life is made up of what happens to you. 90% of
life is decided by how you react. What does this mean?
We really have no control over 10% of what happens to
us. We cannot stop the car from breaking down. The
plane will be late arriving, which throws our whole
schedule off. A driver may cut us off in traffic. We
have no control over this 10%. The other 90% is
different. You determine the other 90%.
How? By your reaction. You cannot control a red
light., but you can control your reaction. Don't let
people fool you; YOU can control how you react.
Let's use an example.
You are eating breakfast with your family. Your
daughter knocks over a cup of coffee onto your
business shirt. You have no control over what just
happened. What happens when the next will be
determined by how you react. You curse. You harshly
scold your daughter for knocking the cup over.
She breaks down in tears. After scolding her, you turn
to your spouse and criticize her for placing the cup
too close to the edge of the table. A short verbal
battle follows. You storm upstairs and change your
shirt. Back downstairs, you find your daughter has
been too busy crying to finish breakfast and get ready
for school. She misses the bus. Your spouse must leave
immediately for work.
You rush to the car and drive your daughter to school.
Because you are late, you drive 40 miles an hour in a
30 mph speed limit. After a 15-minute delay and
throwing $60 traffic fine away, you arrive at school.
Your daughter runs into the building without saying
goodbye. After arriving at the office 20 minutes late,
you find you forgot your briefcase. Your day has
started terrible. As it continues, it seems to get
worse and worse. You look forward to coming home, When
you arrive home, you find small wedge in your
relationship with your spouse and daughter.
Why? Because of how you reacted in the morning. Why
did you have a bad day?
A) Did the coffee cause it?
B) Did your daughter cause it?
C) Did the policeman cause it?
D) Did you cause it?
The answer is " D".
You had no control over what happened with the coffee.
How you reacted in those 5 seconds is what caused your
bad day. Here is what could have and should have
happened.
Coffee splashes over you. Your daughter is about to
cry. You gently say, "It's ok honey, you just need, to
be more careful next time". Grabbing a towel you rush
upstairs. After grabbing a new shirt and your
briefcase, you come back down in time to look through
the window and see your child getting on the bus. She
turns and waves. You arrive 5 minutes early and
cheerfully greet the staff. Your boss comments on how
good the day you are having.
Notice the difference?
Two different scenarios. Both started the same. Both
ended different.
Why? Because of how you REACTED.
You really do not have any control over 10% of what
happens. The other 90% was determined by your
reaction.
Here are some ways to apply the 90/10 principle.
If someone says something negative about you, don't be
a sponge. Let the attack roll off like water on glass.
You don't have to let the negative comment affect you!
React properly and it will not ruin your day. A wrong
reaction could result in losing a friend, being fired,
getting stressed out, etc.
How do you react if someone cuts you off in traffic?
Do you lose your temper? Pound on the steering wheel?
A friend of mine had the steering wheel fall off)
Do you curse? Does your blood pressure skyrocket? Do
you try and bump them? WHO CARES if you arrive ten
seconds later at work? Why let the cars ruin your
drive?
Remember the 90/10 principle, and do not worry about
it.
You are told you lost your job. Why lose sleep and get
irritated? It will work out. Use your worrying energy
and time into finding another job.The plane is late;
it is going to mangle your schedule for the day. Why
take out your frustration on the flight attendant? She
has no control over what is going on. Use your time to
study, get to know the other passenger.
Why get stressed out? It will just make things worse.
Now you know the 90-10 principle. Apply it and you
will be amazed at the results. You will lose nothing
if you try it.
The 90-10 principle is incredible. Very few know and
apply this principle.
The result? Millions of people are suffering from
undeserved stress, trials, problems and heartache.
We all must understand and apply the 90/10 principle.
It CAN change your life!!!

Ten Guidelines From God
Effective immediately ...
Please be aware that there are changes YOU need to make in YOUR life. These changes need to be completed in order that I may fulfill My promises to you to grant you peace, joy and happiness in this life. I apologize for any inconvenience, but after all that I am doing, this seems very little to ask of you. Please follow these 10 guidelines.
1. QUIT WORRYING:
Life has dealt you a blow and all you do is sit and worry. Have you forgotten that I am here to take all your burdens and carry them for you? Or do you just enjoy fretting over every little thing that comes your way?
2. PUT IT ON THE LIST:
Something needs done or taken care of. Put it on the list. No, not YOUR list. Put it on MY to-do-list. Let ME be the one to take care of the problem. I can't help you until you turn it over to Me. And although My to-do-list is long, I am after all...God. I can take care of anything you put into My hands. In fact, if the truth were ever really known, I take care of a lot of things for you that you never even realize.
3. TRUST ME:
Once you've given your burdens to Me, quit trying to take them back. Trust in Me. Have the faith that I will take care of all your needs, your problems and your trials. Problems with the kids? Put them on My list. Problem with finances? Put it on My list. Problems with your emotional roller coaster? For My sake, put it on My list. I want to help you. All you have to do is ask.
4. LEAVE IT ALONE:
Don't wake up one morning and say, "Well, I'm feeling much stronger now, I think I can handle it from here." Why do you think you are feeling stronger now? It's simple. You gave Me your burdens and I'm taking care of them. I also renew your strength and cover you in my peace. Don't you know that if I give you these
problems back, you will be right back where you started? Leave them with Me and forget about them. Just let Me do my job.
5. TALK TO ME:
I want you to forget a lot of things. Forget what was making you crazy. Forget the worry and the fretting because you know I'm in control. But there's one thing I pray you never forget. Please, don't forget to talk to me - OFTEN! I love YOU! I want to hear your voice.
I want you to include me in on the things going on in your life. I want to hear you talk about your friends and family. Prayer is simply you having a conversation with me. I want to be your dearest friend.
6. HAVE FAITH:
I see a lot of things from up here that you can't see from where you are. Have faith in Me that I know what I'm doing. Trust me; you wouldn't want the view from My eyes. I will continue to care for you, watch over you, and meet your needs. You only have to trust Me. Although I have a much bigger task than you, it seems as
if you have so much trouble just doing your simple part. How hard can trust be?
7. SHARE:
You were taught to share when you were only two years old. When did you forget? That rule still applies. Share with those who are less fortunate than you. Share your joy with those who need encouragement. Share your laughter with those who haven't heard any in such a long time. Share your tears with those who have forgotten how to cry. Share your faith with those who have none.
8. BE PATIENT:
I managed to fix it so in just one lifetime you could have so many diverse experiences. You grow from a child to an adult, have children, change jobs many times, learn many trades, travel to so many places, meet thousands of people, and experience so much. How can you be so impatient then when it takes Me a little longer than you expect to handle something on My to-do-list? Trust in My timing, for My timing is perfect. Just because I created the entire universe in only six days, everyone thinks I should always rush, rush, rush.
9. BE KIND:
Be kind to others, for I love them just as much as I love you. They may not dress like you, or talk like you, or live the same way you do, but I still love you all. Please try to get along, for My sake. I created each of you different in some way. It would be too boring if you were all identical. Please, know I love each of your differences.
10. LOVE YOURSELF:
As much as I love you, how can you not love yourself? You were created by me for one reason only -- to be loved, and to love in return. I am a God of Love. Love Me. Love your neighbors. But also love yourself. It makes my heart ache when I see you so angry with yourself when things go wrong. You are very precious to me. Don't ever forget......

HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Try everything twice.
On Madams tombstone (of Whelan's and Madam) she said she wanted this epitaph: Tried everything twice...loved it both times!
2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down. (keep this in mind if you are one of those grouches;)
3. Keep learning: Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever.
Never let the brain get idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's!
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath. And if you have a friend who makes you laugh, spend lots and lots of time with HIM/HER.
6. The tears happen: Endure, grieve, and move on.
The only person who is with us our entire life, is ourselves. LIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love: Whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
11. Forgive now those who made you cry.
You might not get a second time.
And if you don't send this to other people - who cares? But do share this with someone .
If you're going through hell, keep going. J -- Winston Churchill

Attention: These are not Good Advices. They are my personal convictions. Exercise caution before you consider them to be advice.
I Fear the one that freely advises others but fails to keep his or her own advice.
I Follow the one who advises by example and rarely by way of explanation.
I Fear the one that frets with tedious detail in any advice that concerns others but simmers in self-justification when the same applies to himself.
I value a person who eagerly follows the least of his advices with the best of his ability.
I cherish these three: Fear God. Honor your father and your mother. Give more and keep less.
Worked for me all my life.

MOMENTS IN LIFE
There are moments in life when you miss someone
so much that you just want to pick them from
your dreams and hug them for real!
Don't go for looks; they can deceive.
Don't go for wealth; even that fades away.
Go for someone who makes you smile,
because it takes only a smile to
make a dark day seem bright.
Find the one that makes your heart smile.
Dream what you want to dream;
go where you want to go;
be what you want to be,
because you have only one life
and one chance to do all the things
you want to do.
May you have enough happiness to make you sweet,
enough trials to make you strong,
enough sorrow to keep you human and
enough hope to make you happy.
The happiest of people don't necessarily
have the best of everything;
they just make the most of
everything that comes along their way.
The brightest future will always
be based on a forgotten past;
you can't go forward in life until
you let go of your past failures and heartaches.
When you were born, you were crying
and everyone around you was smiling.
Live your life so at the end,
you're the one who is smiling and everyone
around you is crying.

I am God. Today I will be handling all of your problems. Please remember that I do not need your help. If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do not attempt to resolve it. Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for God to do) box. All situations will be resolved, but in My time, not yours. Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in your life now.
If you find yourself stuck in traffic; Don't despair. There are people in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been out of work for years.
Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.
Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed her children.
Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance; Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.
Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't live long enough to get the opportunity.
Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness, ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You could be one of them!

Many people honestly believe they will be happy when they get into a home of their own;
they will be happy when they get all of the little things that frequently convert a house into a home - but they won't.
Then they'll be happy when they ge the mortgage paid- but they won't.
Then they will be happy when they get their second home down at the lake or up on the mountainside- but they won't.
The reason is simple: It makes no difference where you go, where you are.
And it makes no difference what you have, there's always more to want.
Until you are happy with who you are, you will never be happy because of what you have.
~ Happiness is like a kiss. In order to get any good out of it, you have to give it to someone else.

BRAIN DAMAGING HABITS
1. No Breakfast
People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.
2. Overeating
It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.
3. Smoking
It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.
4. High Sugar consumption
Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late is the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done) foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to "schedule."
Because:
Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1am: is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3am: detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5am: detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am: detoxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9am: absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 - 10am rather than no meal at all.
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

If he or she says that you are too good for him - believe it.
I've learned to pick my battles; I ask myself, "Will this matter one year from now? How about one month? One week? One day?"
Never pass up an opportunity to pee.
If you woke up breathing, congratulations! You have another chance!
Living well really is the best revenge. Being miserable because of a bad or former relationship just proves that the other person was right about you.
Be really nice to your friends because you never know when you are going to need them to empty your bed pan and hold your hand.
And finally... Being happy doesn't mean everything's perfect; it just means you've decided to see beyond the imperfections.

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we're kids? If you're less than 10 years old, you're so excited about aging that you think in fractions.
"How old are you?" "I'm four and a half!"
You're never thirty-six and a half. You're four and a half, going on five! That's the key.
You get into your teens, now they can't hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.
"How old are you?" "I'm gonna be 16!" You could be 13, but hey, you're gonna be 16!
And then the greatest day of your life . . you become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony .
YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!
But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There's no fun now, you're Just a sour-dumpling.
What's wrong? What's changed?
You BECOME 21, you TURN 30, then you're PUSHING 40. Whoa! Put on the brakes, it's all slipping away. Before you know it, you REACH 50 and your dreams are gone.
But wait!!! You MAKE it to 60.
You didn't think you would!
So you BECOME 21,
TURN 30,
PUSH 40,
REACH 50
and
MAKE it to 60.
You've built up so much speed that you HIT 70!
After that it's a day-by-day thing; you HIT Wednesday!
You get into your 80's and every day is a complete cycle;
you HIT lunch; you TURN 4:30; you REACH bedtime.
And it doesn't end there. Into the 90s, you start going backwards;
"I Was JUST 92."
Then a strange thing happens. If you make it over 100, you become a little kid again. "I'm 100 and a half!"
May you all make it to a healthy 100 and a half!!
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers.
This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctors worry about them. That is why you pay "them."
2. Keep only cheerful friends.
The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning.
Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. "An idle mind is the devil's workshop."
And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud.
Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen.
Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person, who is with
us our entire life, is ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever.
Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health:
If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it.
If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips.
Take a trip to the mall, even to the next county; to a foreign country but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER :
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
And if you don't send this to at least 8 people - who cares? But do share this with someone. We all need to live life to its fullest each day!!

I've Learned
I've learned ... That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person.
I've learned ... That when you're in love, it shows.
I've learned ... That just one person saying to me, "You've made my day!" makes my day.
I've learned ... That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world.
I've learned ... That being kind is more important than being right.
I've learned ... That you should never say no to a gift from a child.
I've learned ... That I can always pray for someone when I don't have the strength to help him in some other way.
I've learned ... That no matter how serious your life requires you to be, everyone needs a friend to act goofy with.
I've learned ... That sometimes all a person needs is a hand to hold and a heart to understand.
I've learned ... That simple walks with my father around the block on summer nights when I was a child did wonders for me as an adult.
I've learned ... That life is like a roll of toilet paper. The closer it gets to the end, the faster it goes.
I've learned ... That we should be glad God doesn't give us everything we ask for.
I've learned ... That money doesn't buy class.
I've learned ... That it's those small daily happenings that make life so spectacular.
I've learned ... That under everyone's hard shell is someone who wants to be appreciated and loved.
I've learned ... That to ignore the facts does not change the facts.
I've learned ... That when you plan to get even with someone, you are only letting that person continue to hurt you.
I've learned ... That love, not time, heals all wounds.
I've learned ... That the easiest way for me to grow as a person is to surround myself with people smarter than I am.
I've learned ... That everyone you meet deserves to be greeted with a smile.
I've learned ... That there's nothing sweeter than sleeping with your babies and feeling their breath on your cheeks.
I've learned ... That no one is perfect until you fall in love with them.
I've learned ... That life is tough, but I'm tougher.
I've learned ... That opportunities are never lost; someone will take the ones you miss.
I've learned ... That when you harbor bitterness, happiness will dock elsewhere.
I've learned ... That I wish I could have told my dad that I love him one more time before he passed away.
I've learned ... That one should keep his words both soft and tender, because tomorrow he may have to eat them.
I've learned ... That a smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
I've learned ... That I can't choose how I feel, but I can choose what I do about it.
I've learned ... That everyone wants to live on top of the mountain, but all the happiness and growth occurs while you're climbing it.
I've learned ... That it is best to give advice in only two circumstances: when it is requested and when it is a life-threatening situation.
I've learned ... That the less time I have to work with, the more things I get done.

Mottoes For Saner Living
Pain and suffering are inevitable but misery is optional.
Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.
Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either. Just leave me alone.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and a leaky tire.
It's a small world. So you gotta use your elbows a lot.
We are born naked, wet, and hungry. Then things get worse.
No one is listening until you make a mistake.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.
It is far more impressive when others discover your good qualities without your help.
If you tell the truth you don't have to remember anything.
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again; it was probably worth it.
If you haven't much education you must use your brain.
You can't strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
When someone says, "Do you want my opinion?" - it's always a negative one.
The word listen contains the same letters as the word silent.
The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.

Advice for Great Marriages
1- Never forget romance
Don’t underestimate the power of a sweet word or a warm caress, a candlelight dinner accompanied with music, it can work wonders.
So despite of your hectic schedules find the time to express your love and never take your partner for granted.
2- Don’t lose the sense of humor
Trying to lighten up a gloomy situation, looking at the bright side of the things would certainly be the positive and right way to deal with the difficult times.
3- Keep the respect for each other
If you don't have admiration for each other, things will not work. An indication of lack of compassion, good manners and mutual respect especially during heated discussions or difficult situations will be the poison that kills your love and marriage gradually. Don't let anything get in the way of respecting each other.
4- Don’t handcuff your partner
Marriage is not a prison sentence; it's a lifetime commitment of love, companionship and understanding. You both need breathing space, that way love will flourish and grow.
5- Don’t struggle over authority and power
Marriage is certainly not a battle field. You are not opponents, you are companions. In a marriage you must learn to compromise and to let go every once in a while, if you find your partner is getting ready for a big fight, surprise him/her by giving in, then you can find the right time for a comprehensive discussion if necessarily.
6- Be honest
Face your problems, admit that they exist and work on solving them. Hiding behind a screen will not make them disappear, and ignoring them will only build them up into a dormant volcano ready to erupt at any time, pouring out lava of pain, anger and disappointment.
7- Keep the balance between giving and taking
Love is all about giving, but mind you, this does not mean that one party should take advantage of the other; it can't mean endless giving from one partner and endless taking from the other. There is a thin line between the two partners of giving and taking each in his way.
8- It is just the two of you
Keep your marriage details and problems for yourselves and don’t let people influence your marriage. Always remember that anyone
beside you and your partner is a third party even your mother, sister, and best friend.
9- Keep marriage sexually satisfying
Don’t be embarrassed to talk about your sexual needs or fears with your partner, if you are not satisfied in bed or if you feel that your partner has a sexual problem, choose the right moment and discuss it with him.
10- Its takes time
Both of you are used to different things, different habits; how you eat, when you sleep and even when and what to watch in TV, so you have to understand that it is take time and effort from both of you to get used to living together.

Ways to Save Money at the Grocery Store
Don't shop hungry.
Some of the oldest food shopping advice, and some of the best.
Plan ahead.
The more you know about the meals you are going to make in the days ahead, the less extra stuff you are likely to buy, and the less spoilage you should have in your fridge.
Go through the ads.
It's easy to miss a special if you aren't particularly looking for an item. If you use the ads in combination with planning ahead, your meals can be based on what's fairly cheap right then.
Go to more than one grocery store when reasonable.
I have a Henry's and a Vons sharing a parking lot, and Stater Bros. across the street from them. It makes it very easy to shop them all, even though Vons most often has the highest prices. But driving too far can ruin your savings.
Take advantage of coupons for things you would buy anyhow.
Coupons can save you a nice bit of money on the things you need.
Don't buy things you don't need just because you have a coupon.
Buy what you need, not just what is at a good price.
Know the regular prices and what a good sale price is.
Any time you can get something for it's best sale price, you're doing pretty well, and the more you can avoid the regular price on most foods, the better. I also have just general guidelines such as "most fruits and vegetables should be under $1/pound, under $0.75/pound is better". A lot of people keep notebooks so they always know if the price is good. I've seen stores drop a price $0.01 and call it a sale.
Take advantage of your freezer space.
I love keeping meat in my freezer that was bought at cheap prices so I don't have to buy so much when the prices aren't so good.
Check out farmer's markets.
Sometimes the prices are great, sometimes not so great. But know what you have in your area.
Garden.
Not easy for everyone, but if you have the space and are willing to give it a try, you can produce your own food for reasonable prices. Note it may take a while for you to regain your investment. But if you compost your other food scraps you will have a great natural fertilizer, saving one expense as well as concern about chemicals. It may also help your kids to see where their food comes from, and some even eat their vegetables more eagerly.
Make your own mixes.
Spice packets and other mixes can cost significantly more than what the individual ingredients cost. Mixing up your own is pretty easy, especially since many from scratch recipes are readily available online.

Once, there was this guy, who was in love with a gal. She wasn't the most beautiful and
gorgeous but for him, she was everything.
He used to dream about her, about spending the rest of life with her. His friends told him,
"why do you dream so much about her, when you don't even know if she loves you or not?
First tell her your feelings, and get to know if she likes you or not".
He felt that was the right way. The girl knew from the beginning, that this guy loves her.
One day when he proposed, she rejected him.
His friends thought he would take to alcohol; drugs etc. and ruin his life.
To their surprise, he was not depressed.
When they asked him how was it that he is not sad, he replied,
"'why should I feel bad? I lost one who never loved me & she lost the one
who really loved and cared for her."

Good health is something that most people take for granted till the time their bodies start telling them otherwise.
In recent years, more and more people seem to be complaining about ill health, reduced energy levels, poor quality of sleep, and constant fatigue. If you too are troubled by these ills, here are some feng shui tips that can help you to regain optimum health.
There should be no mirrors facing your bed. The element of mirrors is water and if your body reflects in a mirror while sleeping, it can lead to poor health. If it is impossible to change the position of your bedroom mirrors, make sure you cover them with a piece of cloth before going to bed.
Avoid sleeping in any bedroom if the room upstairs has a washing machine or toilet in it. For instance, if your bedroom is directly under a bathroom or the laundry room, you may want to change the location of your bedroom or the other rooms.
If there are any exposed overhead beams in your bedroom, make sure you cover them up. Such beams can give you aches and pains in that area of your body, which is directly under the beam. For instance, if you have constant headaches that you cannot seem to get rid of, and if you happen to have a naked beam over your head, then that could be the reason for your persistent headaches.
Electronics produce a lot of energy even when they are switched off. This energy can disturb your sleep a great deal and poor sleep can lead to various health issues. Thus, you need to ensure that electronic products such as a computer, music system, or a television are not present in your bedroom. The screen of the TV and the computer also act like mirrors when they are off, thereby adding to your health problems. So, avoid having any of these items in your sleeping area and at least cover them all up at night if you cannot get rid of them entirely.
Place feng shui plants in all parts of your home. These help to cleanse the air and add more oxygen to the air you breathe, which in turn improves health. Different feng shui plants are Bamboo Palm, Rubber Plant, English Ivy, Boston Fern and Peace Lily.
Clutter creates a lot of dead energy in your home that can also suck out the good energy from your body. Thus, it is important to de-clutter all the areas of your home. Empty your closets of things that you have not used in the past year; throw away pointless stuff that you keep collecting; make sure your fridge does not have rotting and spoiled items; keep your gas and kitchen counters clean; use natural cleaners instead of chemical ones; make sure the main door is not blocked with any shoe cupboards and other such things.
The East section of your home represents the health area and should be energized at all times. To add positive energy in this part of your home, you should add the dark green colour to this area and keep something made of real wood in the East part of your house. A live plant potted in a real wood pot is a great addition to the east section of your home. So is furniture made from real wood with dark green colour in it.
Do not have any pictures that depict water in your bedroom as this can cause poor health.
Your feet should not face the door of your bedroom when you sleep. If that is the case, make sure you change your sleeping position or the location of your bed.
By following these various feng shui tips, you can bring your energy into alignment with the natural forces around you and create a balanced environment in your home, all of which will go a long way towards reducing your illnesses and improving your overall health.

Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing
malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.
5. Air Pollution
The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air
decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain
efficiency.
6. Sleep Deprivation
Sleep allows our brain to rest.. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the
death of brain cells.
7. Head covered while sleeping
Sleeping with the head covered, increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and
decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.
8. Working your brain during illness
Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of
the brain as well as damage the brain.
9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts
Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may
cause brain shrinkage.
10. Talking Rarely
Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain.

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late
and waking up too late are main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring , and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible
reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil.
Do not consume fried foods when you are tired,
except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming raw (overly done)
Foods also add to the burden of liver.
Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
We should prevent this without necessarily spending more. We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our bodies to absorb and get rid of unnecessary
chemicals according to 'schedule.'
Because :
Evening at 9 - 11
PM : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/toxic chemicals
(detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes).
This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their
homework, this will have a negative impact on health.
Evening at 11pm - 1 am :
is the detoxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 1 - 3 am :
detoxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.
Early morning 3 - 5 am :
detoxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be
a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the detoxification process
had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.
Morning 5 - 7am :
detoxification in the colon,
you should empty your bowel.
Morning 7 - 9 am :
absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you
should be having breakfast at this time.
Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30 am , for those who are
sick. Breakfast before 7:30 am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits,
and it is still better to
eat breakfast late until 9 - 10 am rather than no meal at all..
Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to
4:00 am is the time when the bone marrow
produces blood. Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

Bill Gates recently gave a speech at a High School about 11 things they did not and will not learn in school. He talks about how feel-good, politically correct teachings created a generation of kids with no concept of reality and how this concept set them up for failure in the real world.
Rule 1: Life is not fair - get used to it!
Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
Rule 3: You will NOT make $60,000 a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone until you earn both.
Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss.
Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your Grandparents had a different word for burger flipping: they called it opportunity.
Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you thought you were. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parent's generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers, but life HAS NOT. In some schools, they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as MANY TIMES as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you FIND YOURSELF. Do that on your own time.
Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.

THE PERSON WHO COMPLAINS THAT HE OR SHE NEVER HAD A CHANCE PROBABLY HASN’T THE COURAGE TO TAKE A CHANCE.
Thomas Edison once observed that the reason most folks don’t recognize opportunity when it comes along is that it is often dressed in coveralls and look like work.
Often opportunity involves a great deal of work and a willingness to take a chance on something, the outcome of which may be uncertain. Eventually you reach a point when you must either accept an opportunity with all of its unknowns or else turn your back on it.
No one can tell you when you have reached that point; you alone know when it’s time to make your move, to have the courage to take a chance.

Why Some People Have All the Luck
By Professor Richard Wiseman, University of Hertfordshire
Why do some people get all the luck while others never get the breaks they deserve?
A psychologist says he has discovered the answer.
Ten years ago, I set out to examine luck. I wanted to know why some people are always in the right place at the right time, while others consistently experience ill fortune. I placed advertisements in national newspapers asking for people who felt consistently lucky or unlucky to contact me.
Hundreds of extraordinary men and women volunteered for my research and over the years, I have interviewed them, monitored their lives and had them take part in experiments.
The results reveal that although these people have almost no insight into the causes of their luck, their thoughts and behaviour are responsible for much of their good and bad fortune. Take the case of seemingly chance opportunities. Lucky people consistently encounter such opportunities, whereas unlucky people do not.
I carried out a simple experiment to discover whether this was due to differences in their ability to spot such opportunities. I gave both lucky and unlucky people a newspaper, and asked them to look through it and tell me how many photographs were inside. I had secretly placed a large message halfway through the newspaper saying: "Tell the experimenter you have seen this and win $50."
This message took up half of the page and was written in type that was more than two inches high. It was staring everyone straight in the face, but the unlucky people tended to miss it and the lucky people tended to spot it.
Unlucky people are generally more tense than lucky people, and this anxiety disrupts their ability to notice the unexpected.
As a result, they miss opportunities because they are too focused on looking for something else. They go to parties’ intent on finding their perfect partner and so miss opportunities to make good friends. They look through newspapers determined to find certain types of job advertisements and miss other types of jobs.
Lucky people are more relaxed and open, and therefore see what is there rather than just what they are looking for. My research eventually revealed that lucky people generate good fortune via four principles. They are skilled at creating and noticing chance opportunities, make lucky decisions by listening to their intuition, create self-fulfilling prophesies via positive expectations, and adopt a resilient attitude that transforms bad luck into good.
Towards the end of the work, I wondered whether these principles could be used to create good luck. I asked a group of volunteers to spend a month carrying out exercises designed to help them think and behave like a lucky person.
Dramatic results! These exercises helped them spot chance opportunities, listen to their intuition, expect to be lucky, and be more resilient to bad luck. One month later, the volunteers returned and described what had happened. The results were dramatic: 80% of people were now happier, more satisfied with their lives and, perhaps most important of all, luckier.
The lucky people had become even luckier and the unlucky had become lucky.
Finally, I had found the elusive "luck factor".
Here are Professor Wiseman's four top tips for becoming lucky:
1) Listen to your gut instincts - they are normally right
2) Be open to new experiences and breaking your normal routine
3) Spend a few moments each day remembering things that went well
4) Visualize yourself being lucky before an important meeting or telephone call.
Have a Lucky day and work for it.
The happiest people in the world are not those who have no problems, but those who learn to live with things that are less than perfect.

WAYS TO REDUCE STRESS...
“Never borrow from the future. If you worry about what may happen tomorrow and it doesn't happen, you have worried in vain. Even if it does happen, you have to worry twice”
1. Pray
2. Go to bed on time.
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed.
4. Say No to projects that won't fit into your time schedule or that will compromise your mental health.
5. Delegate tasks to capable others.
6. Simplify and uncluttered your life.
7. Less is more. (Although one is often not enough, two are often too many.)
8. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places.
9. Pace yourself. Spread out big changes and difficult projects over time; don't lump the hard things all together..
10. Take one day at a time.
11. Separate worries from concerns. If a situation is a concern, find out what God would have you do and let go of the anxiety . If you can't do anything about a situation, forget it.
12. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases.
13. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc.
14. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble.
15. Do something for the Kid in You everyday.
16. Carry a book with you to read while waiting in line.
17. Get enough rest.
18. Eat right.
19. Get organized so everything has its place.
20. Listen to a tape while driving that can help improve your quality of life.
21. Write down thoughts and inspirations.
22. Every day, find time to be alone.
23. Having problems? Talk to God on the spot. Try to nip small problems in the bud. Don't wait until it's time to go to bed to try and pray.
24. Make friends with good positive people.
25. Keep a folder of favorite sayings and/or scriptures on hand.
26. Remember that the shortest bridge between despair and hope is often a good 'Thank you God.'
27. Laugh.
28. Laugh some more!
29. Take your work seriously, but not yourself at all.
30. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can).
31. Be kind to unkind people (they probably need it the most).
32. Sit on your ego.
33. Talk less; listen more.
34. Slow down
35. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe.
36. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before.
GOD HAS A WAY OF TURNING THINGS AROUND FOR YOU.

ENJOY The 7 Ups!
1. Wake Up!!
Decide to have a good day.
2. Dress Up!!
The best way to dress up is to put on a smile. A smile is an inexpensive way to improve your looks.
3. Shut Up!!
Say nice things and learn to listen. With two ears and one mouth.. it's meant for us to do twice as much listening as talking. "He who guards his lips guards his soul."
4. Stand Up!!
. . . for what you believe in.
Stand for something or you will fall for anything.
5. Look Up !!
. . . Keep yourself centered. Remember, you are important.
6. Reach Up !!
. . . for something higher.
Trust with all your heart, and lean not unto your own understanding.
7. Lift Up !!
. . . your Prayers.
"Do not worry about anything; instead PRAY ABOUT EVERYTHING."
A POSITIVE THOUGHT
When you worry and hurry through your day, it is like an unopened gift...Thrown away...Life is not a race. Take it slower. Hear the music before the song is over.
"Life may not be the party we hoped for...
but while we are here we might as well dance!"

I got it from my friend… Please read it and think about the standard life

8. THE GIFT OF LAUGHTER...

Success requires a willingness to act
If you want to be successful, you can start at anytime.
But you must start.
Don't make the mistake of not doing anything because you can only do a little.
Do what you can do.
It will always be your attitude at the beginning of any difficult task which,
more than anything else will affect its successful outcome.
To be aware of what you want and not go after it, to spend years wondering
if something could have materialized, and never knowing if it could have been,
is a tragic waste of your life.
The worst thing you can do is not to try.
To reach a port, you must sail.
You must sail, not lie at anchor.
You must sail off in the direction of your dreams, not drift.
A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
Have a good day…………..

Some thoughts for the new year...
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom. We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values. We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life. We've added years to life not life to years. We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbor. We conquered outer space but not inner space. We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul. We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice. We write more, but learn less. We plan more, but accomplish less. We've learned to rush, but not to wait. We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.
These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships. These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes. These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill. It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom. A time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete.
Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever. Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side. Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, "I love you" to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you. Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again. Give time to love, give time to speak, and give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
HOW TO STAY YOUNG
1. Throw out nonessential numbers. This includes age, weight and height. Let the doctor worry about them. That is why you pay him/her.
2. Keep only cheerful friends. The grouches pull you down.
3. Keep learning. Learn more about the computer, crafts, gardening, whatever. Never let the brain idle. " An idle mind is the devil's workshop." And the devil's name is Alzheimer's.
4. Enjoy the simple things.
5. Laugh often, long and loud. Laugh until you gasp for breath.
6. The tears happen. Endure, grieve, and move on. The only person who is with us our entire life, is God & ourselves. Be ALIVE while you are alive.
7. Surround yourself with what you love, whether it's family, pets, keepsakes, music, plants, hobbies, whatever. Your home is your refuge.
8. Cherish your health: If it is good, preserve it. If it is unstable, improve it. If it is beyond what you can improve, get help.
9. Don't take guilt trips. Take a trip to the mall, to the next county, to a foreign country, but NOT to where the guilt is.
10. Tell the people you love that you love them, at every opportunity.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
If you don't send this to at least 8 people.... who cares?

Don't worry
Don't worry about how long it will take, or what others will think of you, or how difficult it will be.
Just get busy and do it.
Instead of wasting your time and energy on worry, use that time and energy for action. Instead of visualizing what you don't want, create what you do want.
Of course there will be challenges, painful mistakes, embarrassing moments and difficult efforts. But instead of worrying about them and making them worse, just go ahead, work your way through them and get them over with.
Worry fills you with doubt, and doubt eats away at your dreams. Choose instead to take action, with so much relentless determination and intensity that there's no room for worry.
Even though there will always be problems, you are truly capable of greatness. Imagine yourself fulfilling that greatness, starting right now from where you are with what you have.
Then jump enthusiastically into the journey. Forget the worries, and bring your best possibilities to life.
Have a good day…………….

A wise man moved to the city of Akbar. No one took much notice of him, and his teachings were not taken up by the populace. After a time, he became the object of their mockery and their ironic comments.
One day, while he was walking down the main street in Akbar, a group of men and women began insulting him. Instead of pretending that he had not noticed, the wise man turned to them and blessed them.
One of the men said:
"Are you deaf too? We call you the foulest of names and yet you respond with sweet words!"
"We can each of us only offer what we have," came the wise man's reply.

Take an active role
There is no scarcity, only the perception of it. Abundance is the true nature of life.
Life is abundant, but that doesn't mean it is free of effort or responsibility. On the contrary, effort and responsibility play key roles in making life's abundance real and accessible.
Your life is incredibly rich, but that doesn't mean you can be lazy and complacent about it. It means that you have something truly valuable to sustain, to express and to continue nurturing.
Your blessings are many, and yet if you fail to put them to productive use they will be of little value to you. Your skills, knowledge, abilities and resources will take you anywhere you wish to go, and yet you must be the one to do the going.
Take an active role in life and you will make it great. There are always countless opportunities for worthwhile effort and responsibility, commitment and competence.
Life has so very much to offer. Offer yourself fully to life, and you'll surely experience its magnificent abundance.
Have a good day………

Very Nice one!
In a poor zoo of India,a lion was frustrated as he was offered notMore
than 1 kg of meat a day.
The lion thought its prayers were answered. When one day a
Dubai Zoo Managervisited the zoo and requested the zoo management
to shift the lion to Dubai Zoo.
The lion was so happy and started thinking of a central A/C environment,
a goat or two every day.
On its first day after arrival, the lion was offered a big bag, sealed
very nicely for b reakfast. The lion opened it quickly but was shocked to
see that it contained few bananas. The lion thought that may be they cared
too much for him as they were worried about his stomach as he had recently
shifted from India.
The next day the same thing happened. On the third day again the same
foodbag of bananas was delivered.
The lion was so furious; it stopped the delivery boy and blasted at
him,'don't you know I am the lion...king of the Jungle..., what's wrong
with your management? What nonsense is this? Why are you delivering bananas
to me?
The delivery boy politely said, 'Sir, I k now you are the king of the
jungle ... but... you have been brought here on a monkey's visa !!! '
Moral of the Story....Better to be a Lion in your own country than a
Monkey elsewhere.

Food as Medicine
HEADACHE? EAT FISH!
Eat plenty of fish -- fish oil helps prevent headaches.
So does ginger, which reduces inflammation and pain.
HAY FEVER? EAT YOGURT!
Eat lots of yogurt before pollen season.
Also-eat honey from your area (local region) daily.
TO PREVENT STROKE DRINK TEA!
Prevent buildup of fatty deposits on artery walls with regular doses of tea. (actually, tea suppresses my appetite and keeps the pounds from invading....Green tea is great for our immune system)!
INSOMNIA (CAN'T SLEEP?) HONEY!
Use honey as a tranquilizer and sedative.
ASTHMA? EAT ONIONS!!!!
Eating onions helps ease constriction of bronchial tubes. (when I was young, my mother would make onion packs to place on our chest, helped the respiratory ailments and actually made us breathe better).
ARTHRITIS? EAT FISH, TOO!!
Salmon, tuna, mackerel and sardines actually prevent arthritis. (fish has omega oils, good for our immune system)
UPSET STOMACH? BANANAS - GINGER!!!!!
Bananas will settle an upset stomach.
Ginger will cure morning sickness and nausea.
BLADDER INFECTION? DRINK CRANBERRY JUICE!!!!
High-acid cranberry juice controls harmful bacteria.
BONE PROBLEMS? EAT PINEAPPLE!!!
Bone fractures and osteoporosis can be prevented by the manganese in pineapple.
PREMENSTRUAL SYNDROME? EAT CORNFLAKES!!!!
Women can ward off the effects of PMS with cornflakes, which help reduce depression, anxiety and fatigue.
MEMORY PROBLEMS? EAT OYSTERS!
Oysters help improve your mental functioning by supplying much-needed zinc.
COLDS? EAT GARLIC!
Clear up that stuffy head with garlic. (remember, garlic lowers cholesterol, too.)
COUGHING? USE RED PEPPERS!!
A substance similar to that found in the cough syrups is found in hot red pepper. Use red (cayenne) pepper with caution-it can irritate your tummy.
BREAST CANCER? EAT Wheat, bran and cabbage
Helps to maintain estrogen at healthy levels.
LUNG CANCER? EAT DARK GREEN AND ORANGE AND VEGGIES!!!
A good antidote is beta carotene, a form of Vitamin A found in dark green and orange vegetables.
ULCERS? EAT CABBAGE ALSO!!!
Cabbage contains chemicals that help heal both gastric and duodenal ulcers.
DIARRHEA? EAT APPLES!
Grate an apple with its skin, let it turn brown and eat it to cure this condition. (Bananas are good for this ailment)

A young couple moves into a new neighborhood. The next morning, while they are eating breakfast, the young woman sees her neighbor hang the wash outside . That laundry is not very clean, she said,
she doesn’t know how to wash correctly. Perhaps she needs better laundry soap. Her husband looked on, but remained silent. Every time her neighbor would hang her wash to dry, the young woman would make the same comments.
About one month later, the woman was surprised to see a nice clean wash on the line and said to her husband: Look! She has learned how to wash correctly. I wonder who taught her this.
The husband said: I got up early this morning and cleaned our windows!
And so it is with life: What we see when watching others, depends on the purity of the window through which we look. Before we give any criticism, it might be a good idea to check our state of mind and ask ourselves if we are ready to see the good rather than to be looking for something in the person we are about to judge.
Wishing you all a fantastic weekend…

WHEN YOU THOUGHT I WASN'T LOOKING
A message every adult should read because children
are watching you and doing as you do, not as you say.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you hang my
first painting on the refrigerator, and I immediately
wanted to paint another one.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you feed a
stray cat, and I learned that it was good to be kind
to animals.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make my
favorite cake for me, and I learned that the little
things can be the special things in life.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I heard you say a
prayer, and I knew that there is a God I could always
talk to, and I learned to trust in Him.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you make a
meal and take it to a friend who was sick, and I
learned that we all have to help take care of each
other.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you give of
your time and money to help people who had nothing,
and I learned that those who have something should
give to those who don't.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw you take care
of our house and everyone in it, and I learned we have
to take care of what we are given.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw how you
handled your responsibilities, even when you didn' t
feel good, and I learned that I would have to be
responsible when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking I saw tears come
from your eyes, and I learned that sometimes things
hurt, but it's all right to cry.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I saw that you
cared, and I wanted to be everything that I could be.
When you thought I wasn't looking I learned most of
life's lessons that I need to know to be a good and
productive person when I grow up.
When you thought I wasn't looking, I looked at you and
wanted to say,'Thanks for all the things I saw when
you thought I wasn't looking."
I AM SENDING THIS TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE I KNOW WHO DO SO MUCH FOR OTHERS,
BUT THINK THAT NO ONE EVER SEES.
LITTLE EYES SEE A LOT .
Each of us (parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, teacher, & friend) influences the life of a child.
How will you touch the life of someone today? Just by
sending this to someone else, you will probably make
them at least think about their influence on others.
Live simply. Love generously. Care deeply. Speak kindly.
Leave the rest to God.

Warren Buffett’s Advice for 2009
Hard work: All hard work brings a profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty.
Laziness: A sleeping lobster is carried away by the water current.
Earnings: Never depend on a single source of income. (At least make your investments get you second earning)
Spending: If you buy things you don’t need, you’ll soon sell things you need.
Savings: Don’t save what is left after spending; Spend what is left after saving.
Borrowings: The borrower becomes the lender’s slave.
Accounting: It’s no use carrying an umbrella, if your shoes are leaking.
Auditing: Beware of little expenses; A small leak can sink a large ship.
Risk-taking: Never test the depth of the river with both feet. (Have an alternate plan ready)

Used vs. Loved
While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures. When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, 'Dad when will my fingers grow back?' The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times.
Devastated by his own actions......sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD' The next day that man committed suicide. . .
Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved, But the problem in today's world is that, People are used and things are loved  ... During this year, let's be careful to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ... Be yourself.....
Have a nice weekend

8 Toxic personalities to avoid
Although we like to think that the people in our lives are well-adjusted, happy, healthy minded individuals, we sometimes realize that it just isn't so. Personally, I've had moments where I'll be skipping through my day, happy as can be, thinking life is grand and BAM, I'll be blindsided by someone who manages to knock the happy wind out of my sails. Sometimes it is easy to write it off and other times, not so much.
Maybe you are a positive person, but when you are around a certain individual, you feel negative. Or, maybe you have an idealistic view of the world and when you are with certain people, you are made to feel silly, unrealistic or delusional. Or, maybe you pride yourself in being completely independent and in control of your life, but when you are around a certain family member, you regress into a state of childhood.
Some of these situations, and yes, these people, can have a tremendously negative impact on our lives. And, although we are all human and have our 'issues,' some 'issues' are quite frankly, toxic. They are toxic to our happiness. They are toxic to our mental outlook. They are toxic to our self-esteem. And they are toxic to our lives. They can suck the life out of us and even shorten our lifespan.
Here are the worst of the toxic personalities out there and how to spot them:
1. Manipulative Mary: These individuals are experts at manipulation tactics. Is a matter of fact, you may not even realize you have been manipulated until it is too late. These individuals figure out what your 'buttons' are, and push them to get what they want.
Why they are toxic: These people have a way of eating away at your belief system and self-esteem. They find ways to make you do things that you don't necessarily want to do and before you know it, you lose your sense of identity, your personal priorities and your ability to see the reality of the situation. The world all of a sudden becomes centered around their needs and their priorities.
2. Narcissistic Nancy: These people have an extreme sense of self-importance and believe that the world revolves around them. They are often not as sly as the Manipulative Marys of the world, but instead, tend to be a bit overt about getting their needs met. You often want to say to them "It isn't always about you."
Why they are toxic: They are solely focused on their needs, leaving your needs in the dust. You are left disappointed and unfulfilled. Further, they zap your energy by getting you to focus so much on them, that you have nothing left for yourself.
3. Debbie Downers: These people can't appreciate the positive in life. If you tell them that it is a beautiful day, they will tell you about the impending dreary forecast. If you tell them you aced a mid-term, they'll tell you about how difficult the final is going to be.
Why they are toxic: They take the joy out of everything. Your rosy outlook on life continues to get squashed with negativity. Before you know it, their negativity consumes you and you start looking at things with gray colored glasses yourself.
4. Judgmental Jims: When you see things as cute and quirky, they see things as strange and unattractive. If you find people's unique perspectives refreshing, they find them 'wrong'. If you like someone's eclectic taste, they find it 'disturbing' or 'bad'.
Why they are toxic: Judgmental people are much like Debbie Downers. In a world where freedom rings, judgment is sooo over. If the world was a homogeneous place, life would be pretty boring. Spending a lot of time with these types can inadvertently convert you into a judgmental person as well.
5. Dream Killing Keiths: Every time you have an idea, these people tell you why you can't do it. As you achieve, they try to pull you down. As you dream, they are the first to tell you it is impossible.
Why they are toxic: These people are stuck in what is instead of what could be. Further, these individuals eat away at your self-esteem and your belief in yourself. Progress and change can only occur from doing new things and innovating, dreaming the impossible and reaching for the stars.
6. Insincere Illissas: You never quite feel that these people are being sincere. You tell a funny story, they give you a polite laugh. You feel depressed and sad and they give you a 'there, there' type response. You tell them you are excited about something and you get a very ho-hum response.
Why they are toxic: People who aren't sincere or genuine build relationships on superficial criteria. This breeds shallow, meaningless relationships. When you are really in need of a friend, they won't be there. When you really need constructive criticism, they would rather tell you that you are great the way you are. When you need support, they would rather see you fail or make a fool of yourself.
7. Disrespectful Dannys: These people will say or do things at the most inappropriate times and in the most inappropriate ways. In essence, they are more subtle, grown up bullies. Maybe this person is a friend who you confided in and uses your secret against you. Maybe it is a family member who puts their busy-body nose into your affairs when it is none of their business. Or maybe, it is a colleague who says demeaning things to you.
Why they are toxic: These people have no sense of boundaries and don't respect your feelings or, for that matter, your privacy. These people will cause you to feel frustrated and disrespected.
8. Never Enough Nellies: You can never give enough to these people to make them happy. They take you for granted and have unrealistic expectations of you. They find ways to continually fault you and never take responsibility for anything themselves.
Why they are toxic: You will spend so much time trying to please them, that you will end up losing yourself in the process. They will require all of your time and energy, leaving you worn out and your own needs sacrificed.
All of these personalities have several things in common. 1) the more these people get away with their behavior, the more they will continue. 2) Unfortunately, most of these people don't see that what they do is wrong and as a result, talking to them about it will fall on deaf ears, leaving you wondering if you are the crazy one. 3) Most of these people get worse with age, making their impact on you stronger with time.
Frankly, life is too short to spend your time dealing with toxicity. If you can, avoid spending mucho time with people who are indicative of these behaviors and you'll feel a lot happier. Have you encountered these personalities? What have you done? Any personalities you would add?

[tscii:8480eade68]Right perspective
The train has started moving. It is packed with people of all ages, mostly with the working men and women and young college guys and girls.
Near the window seated an old man with his 30 year old son. As the train moves by, the son is overwhelmed with joy as he was thrilled with the scenery outside.
"See Dad, the scenery of green trees moving away is very beautiful"
This behaviour from a thirty year old son made the other people feel strange about him.
Every one started murmuring something or other about this son."This guy seems to be a krack...” newly married Anup whispered to his wife.
Suddenly it started raining... Rain drops fell on the travelers through the opened window.
The Thirty year old son, filled with joy" said see Dad, how beautiful the rain is .."
Anup's wife got irritated with the rain drops spoiling her new suit. Anup," cant you see its raining, you old man, if your son is not feeling well get him soon to a mental asylum. And don't disturb public hence forth"
The old man hesitated first and then in a low tone replied "we are on the way back from hospital, my son got discharged today morning , he was blind by birth, last week only he got his vision, these rain and nature are new to his eyes.. Please forgive us for the inconvenience caused…..."
The things we see may be right from our perspective until we know the truth. But when we know the truth our reaction to that will hurt even us[/tscii:8480eade68]

It's another morning..
...... Again I have to go to office.
Ohh, this is me... I shouted having a glance on my snap in today's newspaper. But what the HELL is it doing in the death column??
Strange...
One sec... Let me think, last night when I was going to bed I had a severe pain in my chest, but I don't remember anything after that, I think I had a sound sleep.
Its morning now, ohh..... It's already 10:00 AM, where is my coffee? I will be late for office and my boss will get a chance to irritate me.
Where is everyone...??? I screamed.
"I think there is a crowd outside my room, let me check." I said to myself.
So many people..... Not all of them crying...But why some of them crying...
WHAT IS THIS??? I'm lying there on the floor...
"I AM HERE" ... I shouted!!! No one listen. "LOOK I AM NOT DEAD" ... I screamed once again!!!
No one is interested in me. They all were looking me on the bed.
I went back to my bed room.
"Am I dead??" I asked myself.
Where is my wife, my children, my mom-dad, my friends? I found them in the next room, all of them were crying... still trying to console each other.
My wife was crying... she was really looking sad. My little kid was not sure what happened, but he was crying just coz his mom was sad.
How can I go without saying to my kid that I really love him, I really do care of him. ?? How can I go without saying to my wife that she is really the most beautiful and most caring wife in this world..?? How can I go without saying to my parents that I m ... just because of u ?? How can I go without telling my friends that without them perhaps I would have done most of the wrong things in my life... thanks for being there always when I need them... and sorry for not being there when they really need me..
I can see a person standing in the corner and trying to hide his tears... Ohh... he was once my best friend, but a small misunderstanding made us part, and we both have strong enough ego to keep us disconnect.
I went there.. And offered him my hand, "Dear friend... I just want to say sorry for everything, we r
still best friends, please forgive me." No response from other side, what the hell?? He is still
preserving his ego, I am saying sorry... even then!!! I really don't care for such people.
But one sec.... it seems he is not able to see me!!!! He did not see my extended hand. My goodness... AM I REALLY DEAD???
I just sat down near ME; I also felt like crying... "OHH ALMIGHTY!!!! PLEASE JUST GIVE ME FEW MORE DAYS..."
I just want to make my wife, my parents; my friends realize that how much I love them.
My wife entered in the room, she looks beautiful. "YOU R BEAUTIFUL" I shouted. She didn't hear my words, in fact she never heard these words coz I never said this to her.
"GOD!!!!" I screamed... a little more time plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..I cried...
One more chance please... to hug my child, to make my mom smile just once, to feel my dad proud of me at least for a moment, to say sorry to my friends for everything I have not given to them, and thanks for still being in my life....
Then I looked up and cried!!!! I shouted....
"GOD!!!! ONE MORE CHANCE PLEASE!!!!"
"You shouted in your sleep," said my wife as she gently woke me up. "Did you have a nightmare?"
I was sleeping.... Ohh that was just a dream....
My wife was there... she can hear me... This is the happiest moment of my life... I hugged her and whispered.... "U R THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND CARING WIFE IN THIS UNIVERSE....
I can't understand the reason of the smile on her face with some tears in her eyes, still I m happy.... :)
"THANK YOU GOD FOR THIS SECOND CHANCE."
So, Now it's not late.. Forget your egos, past..........., and express your affection to others.......... Be friendly................ keep smiling and be happy for ever....... Cheers

This is something we should all read at least once a week!
Written By Regina Brett, 90 years old, of The Plain Dealer, Cleveland , Ohio
"To celebrate growing older, I once wrote the 45 lessons life taught me. It is the most-requested column I've ever written.
My odometer rolled over to 90 in August, so here is the column once more: "
1. Life isn't fair, but it's still good.
2. When in doubt, just take the next small step.
3. Life is too short to waste time hating anyone.
4. Your job won't take care of you when you are sick. Your friends and parents will. Stay in touch.
5. Pay off your credit cards every month.
6. You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
7. Cry with someone. It's more healing than crying alone.
8. It's OK to get angry with God. He can take it.
9. Save for retirement starting with your first paycheck.
10. When it comes to chocolate, resistance is futile.
11. Make peace with your past so it won't screw up the present.
12. It's OK to let your children see you cry.
13. Don't compare your life to others. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
14. If a relationship has to be a secret, you shouldn't be in it.
15. Everything can change in the blink of an eye. But don't worry; God never blinks.
16. Take a deep breath. It calms the mind.
17. Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful.
18. Whatever doesn't kill you really does make you stronger.
19. It's never too late to have a happy childhood. But the second one is up to you and no one else.
20. When it comes to going after what you love in life, don't take no for an answer.
21. Burn the candles, use the nice sheets, wear the fancy lingerie. Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.
22. Over prepare, then go with the flow.
23. Be eccentric now. Don't wait for old age to wear purple.
24. The most important sex organ is the brain.
25. No one is in charge of your happiness but you.
26. Frame every so-called disaster with these words 'In five years, will this matter?'
27. Always choose life.
28. Forgive everyone everything.
29. What other people think of you is none of your business.
30. Time heals almost everything. Give time time.
31. However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
32. Don't take yourself so seriously. No one else does.
33. Believe in miracles.
34. God loves you because of who God is, not because of anything you did or didn't do.
35. Don't audit life. Show up and make the most of it now.
36. Growing old beats the alternative -- dying young.
37. Your children get only one childhood.
38. All that truly matters in the end is that you loved.
39. Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
40. If we all threw our problems in a pile and saw everyone else's,we'd grab ours back.
41. Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
42. The best is yet to come.
43. No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up.
44. Yield.
45. Life isn't tied with a bow, but it's still a gift."

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LATERAL AND LOGICAL THINKING
Many years ago in a small Indian village,
A farmer had the misfortune of owing a large sum of money to a village moneylender.
The Money lender, who was old and ugly, fancied the farmer's beautiful Daughter. So he proposed a bargain.
He said he would forgo the farmer's debt if he could marry his Daughter. Both the farmer and his daughter were horrified by the Proposal.
So the cunning money-lender suggested that they let Providence decide the matter.
He told them that he would put a black Pebble and a white pebble into an empty money bag. Then the girl would have to pick one pebble from the bag.
1) If she picked the black pebble, she would become his wife and her father's debt would be forgiven.
2) If she picked the white pebble she need not marry him and her father's debt would still be forgiven.
3) But if she refused to pick a pebble, her father would be thrown into Jail.
They were standing on a pebble strewn path in the farmer's field. As they talked, the moneylender bent over to pick up two pebbles. As he picked them up, the sharp-eyed girl noticed that he had picked up two black pebbles and put them into the bag.
He then asked the girl to pick a pebble from the bag.
Careful analysis would produce three possibilities:
1. The girl should refuse to take a pebble.
2. The girl should show that there were two black pebbles in the bag And expose the money-lender as a cheat.
3. The girl should pick a black pebble and sacrifice herself in order To save her father from his debt and imprisonment.
Take a moment to ponder over the story. The above story is used with the hope that it will make us appreciate the difference between lateral and logical thinking.
The girl's dilemma cannot be solved with Traditional logical thinking. Think of the consequences if she chooses the above logical answers.
What would you recommend to the Girl to do?
Well, here is what she did....
The girl put her hand into the moneybag and drew out a pebble. Without Looking at it, she fumbled and let it fall onto the pebble-strewn path where it immediately became lost among all the other pebbles.
"Oh, how clumsy of me," she said. "But never mind, if you look into the Bag for the one that is left, you will be able to tell which pebble I picked."
Since the remaining pebble is black, it must be assumed that she had picked the white one. And since the money-lender dared not admit his Dishonesty, the girl changed what seemed an impossible situation into An extremely advantageous one.
MORAL OF THE STORY:
Most complex problems do have a solution. It is only that we don't ATTEMPT to think.

In 10th Grade:-
As I sat there in English class,
I stared at the girl next to me.
She was my so called 'best friend'.
I stared at her long, silky hair,
And wished she was mine.
But she didn't notice me like that,
And I knew it.
After class,
She walked up to me and asked me for
The notes she had missed the day before.
I handed them to her.She said 'thanks'
And gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her, I want her to know
That I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
And I don't know why.
When in Junior College:
The phone rang. On the other end,
It was her. She was in tears,
Mumbling on and on about how
Her love had broke her heart.
She asked me to come over
Because she didn't want to be alone, So I did.
As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her Soft eyes, wishing she was mine..
After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, And three bags of chips, She decided to go home.
She looked at me, said 'thanks'
And gave me a kiss
On the cheek..I want to tell her,
I want her to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
And I don't know why.
During Graduation:-
One fine day she walked to my classroom.
'My date is sick' she said,
'hes not gonna go' well,
I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade,
We made a promise that
If neither of us had dates,
We would go together just as 'best friends'.
So we did.
That night, after everything was over,
I was standing at her front door step.
I stared at her as She smiled at me
And stared at me with her crystal eyes.
Then she said- 'I had the best time, thanks!'
And gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
That I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
And I don't know why.
At End of Graduation:-
A day passed, then a week, then a month.
Before I could blink, it was graduation day.
I watched as her perfect body
Floated like an angel
Upon stage to get her diploma.
I wanted her to be mine-but
She didn't notice me like that, and I knew it.
Before everyone went home,
She came to me in her smock and hat,
And cried as I hugged her.
Then she lifted her head from my shoulder And said- 'you're my best friend, Thanks''s and gave me a kiss on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
That I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
And I don't know why.
On the Marriage:-
Now I sit in the pews of the church.
That girl is getting married now.
And drive off to her new life,
Married to another man.
I wanted her to be mine,
But she didn't see me like that,
And I knew it.
But before she drove away,
She came to me and said 'you came !'.
She said 'thanks' and kissed me on the cheek.
I want to tell her,
I want her to know
That I don't want to be just friends,
I love her but I'm just too shy,
And I don't know why.
When Death:-
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin Of a girl who used to be my 'best friend'.
At the service, they read a diary entry
She had wrote in her high school years.
This is what it read:
'I stare at him wishing he was mine,
But he doesn't notice me like that,
And I know it.
I want to tell him,
I want him to know that
I don't want to be just friends,
I love him but I'm just too shy,
And I don't know why.
I wish he would tell me he loved me !
'I wish I did too...'
I thought to myself, and I cried.
HOPE ALL THE LOVERS WILL LEARN A LESSON FROM THIS STORY…JUST BE EXPRESSIVE IN YOUR LIFE…..EXPRESS YOUR HEART , EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS……COZ THERE IS SOMEONE FOR EVERYONE.

Superb one must read it!!!!
A little boy went to a telephone booth which was at the cash counter of a store and dialed a number.
The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:
Boy : "Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?
Woman : (at the other end of the phone line) "I already have someone to cut my lawn."
Boy : "Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price than the person who cuts your lawn now."
Woman : I'm very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting my lawn.
Boy : (with more perseverance) "Lady, I'll even sweep the floor and the stairs of your house for free.
Woman : No, thank you.
With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver. The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.
Store Owner : "Son... I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."
Boy : "No thanks,
Store Owner : But you were really pleading for one.
Boy : No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!"

To all men who are planning to get married....
Tomorrow you may get a working woman, but you should marry her with these facts as well.
Here is a girl, who is as much educated as you are;
Who is earning almost as much as you do;
One, who has dreams and aspirations just as
you have because she is as human as you are;
One, who has never entered the kitchen in her life just like you or your
Sister haven't, as she was busy in studies and competing in a system
that gives no special concession to girls for their culinary achievements
One, who has lived and loved her parents & brothers & sisters, almost as
much as you do for 20-25 years of her life;
One, who has bravely agreed to leave behind all that, her home, people who love her, to adopt your home, your family, your ways and even your family ,name
One, who is somehow expected to be a master-chef from day #1, while you sleep oblivious to her predicament in her new circumstances, environment and that kitchen
One, who is expected to make the tea, first thing in the morning and cook
food at the end of the day, even if she is as tired as you are, maybe more,
and yet never ever expected to complain; to be a servant, a cook, a mother,
a wife, even if she doesn't want to; and is learning just like you are as
to what you want from her; and is clumsy and sloppy at times and knows that you won't like it if she is too demanding, or if she learns faster than you;
One, who has her own set of friends, and that includes boys and even men at her workplace too, those, who she knows from school days and yet is willing to put all that on the back-burners to avoid your irrational jealousy, unnecessary competition and your inherent insecurities;
Yes, she can drink and dance just as well as you can, but won't, simply
Because you won't like it, even though you say otherwise
One, who can be late from work once in a while when deadlines, just like yours, are to be met;
One, who is doing her level best and wants to make this most important,
relationship in her entire life a grand success, if you just help her some
and trust her;
One, who just wants one thing from you, as you are the only one she knows in your entire house - your unstinted support, your sensitivities and most importantly - your understanding, or love, if you may call it.

Madras eye is spreading fast in Chennai. Make sure that you have your coolers on when you go out. Drink a lot of water. Keep your eyes clean. Do not have hand-to-eyes contact before cleaning your hands with antiseptic lotion, soap. Change your bedwraps, pillow covers, towels frequently. Avoid sharing rooms with affected people. If they are your subordinates, approve their leave for 2 days and if it is your boss, better you apply for leave.
If you feel irritation in your eyes, reddishness, formation of mucus, swelling, than apply Microflox lotion every 2 hours. If the problem still persists, consult the doctor and he'l prescribe the same medicine..

Man : I really don't know the reason, but I can prove that I love you.
Lady: Proof? No! I want you to tell me the reason. My friend's boyfriend can

Man : Ok ok!!! Erm... because you are beautiful, because your voice is
sweet, because you are caring, because you are loving, because you

Unfortunately, a few days later, the Lady met with an accident and became a vegetable(Total permanent disability). The Guy then placed a letter by her side, and here is what was written :
Dearest,
Because of your sweet voice that I love you...Now can you talk? No!
Therefore I cannot love you. Because of your care and concern that I like
you.. Now that you cannot show them, therefore I cannot love you. Because of
your smile, because of your every movement that I love you.. Now can you
smile? Now can you move? No, therefore I cannot love you...

POINTS ON HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR LIFE
Personality:
1. Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.
2. Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment
3. Don't over do; keep your limits
4. Don't take yourself so seriously; no one else does
5. Don't waste your precious energy on gossip
6. Dream more while you are awake
7 . Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner of his/her mistakes of the past. That will ruin your present happiness.
8 . Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others.
9 . Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present
10 . No one is in charge of your happiness except you
11 . Smile and laugh more
12 . You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.
Community:
1 3 . Call your family often
14 . Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6
15 . Try to make at least three people smile each day
16 . What other people think of you is none of your business
17 . Your job will not take care of you when you are sick. Your family and friends will. Stay in touch.
Life:
18 . Put GOD first in anything and everything that you think, say and do.
19 . GOD heals everything
20 . Do the right things
21 . However good or bad a situation is, it will change
22 . No matter how you feel, get up, dress up and show up
23 . The best is yet to come
24 . Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful
25 . When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it
26. If you know GOD you will always be happy. So, be happy.
While you practice all of the above, share this knowledge with the people you love, people you school with, people you play with, people you work with and people you live with.
Not only will it enrich YOUR life, but also that of those around you.

The Nine Satanic Sins
1. Stupidity -- The top of the list for Satanic Sins. The Cardinal
Sin of Satanism. It's too bad that stupidity isn't painful.
Ignorance is one thing, but our society thrives increasingly on
stupidity. It depends on people going along with whatever they
are told. The media promotes a cultivated stupidity as a posture
that is not only acceptable but laudable. Satanists must learn
to see through the tricks and cannot afford to be stupid.
2. Pretentiousness -- Empty posturing can be most irritating and
isn't applying the cardinal rules of Lesser Magic. On equal
footing with stupidity for what keeps the money in circulation
these days. Everyone's made to feel like a big shot, whether
they can come up with the goods or not.
3. Solipsism -- Can be very dangerous for Satanists. Projecting
your reactions, responses and sensibilities onto someone who is
probably far less attuned than you are. It is the mistake of
expecting people to give you the same consideration, courtesy
and respect that you naturally give them. They won't. Instead,
Satanists must strive to apply the dictum of "Do unto others as
they do unto you." It's work for most of us and requires
constant vigilance lest you slip into a comfortable illusion of
everyone being like you. As has been said, certain utopias would
be ideal in a nation of philosophers, but unfortunately (or
perhaps fortunately, from a Machiavellian standpoint) we are far
from that point.
4. Self-deceit -- It's in the Nine Satanic Statements but deserves
to be repeated here. Another cardinal sin. We must not pay
homage to any of the sacred cows presented to us, including the
roles we are expected to play ourselves. The only time
self-deceit should be entered into is when it's fun, and with
awareness. But then, it's not self-deceit!
5. Herd Conformity -- That's obvious from a Satanic stance. It's
all right to conform to a person's wishes, if it ultimately
benefits you. But only fools follow along with the herd, letting
an impersonal entity dictate to you. The key is to choose a
master wisely instead of being enslaved by the whims of the
many.
6. Lack of Perspective -- Again, this one can lead to a lot of pain
for a Satanist. You must never lose sight of who and what you
are, and what a threat you can be, by your very existence. We
are making history right now, every day. Always keep the wider
historical and social picture in mind. That is an important key
to both Lesser and Greater Magic. See the patterns and fit
things together as you want the pieces to fall into place. Do
not be swayed by herd constraints -- know that you are working
on another level entirely from the rest of the world.
7. Forgetfulness of Past Orthodoxies -- Be aware that this is one
of the keys to brainwashing people into accepting something
"new" and "different," when in reality it's something that was
once widely accepted but is now presented in a new package. We
are expected to rave about the genius of the "creator" and
forget the original. This makes for a disposable society.
8. Counterproductive Pride -- That first word is important. Pride
is great up to the point you begin to throw out the baby with
the bath-water. The rule of Satanism is: if it works for you,
great. When it stops working for you, when you've painted
yourself into a corner and the only way out is to say, "I'm
sorry, I made a mistake, I wish we could compromise somehow,"
then do it.
9. Lack of Aesthetics -- This is the physical application of the
Balance Factor. Aesthetics is important in Lesser Magic and
should be cultivated. It is obvious that no one can collect any
money off classical standards of beauty and form most of the
time so they are discouraged in a consumer society, but "an eye"
for beauty, for balance, is an essential Satanic tool and must
be applied for greatest magical effectiveness. It's not what's
supposed to be pleasing -- it's what is. Aesthetics is a
personal thing, reflective of one's own nature, but there are
universally pleasing and harmonious configurations that should
not be denied.

Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.
As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.
Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even the dull and ignorant; they too have their story.
Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter;
for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself.
Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.
Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery.
But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals;
and everywhere life is full of heroism.
Be yourself.
Especially, do not feign affection.
Neither be critical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.
Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.
You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be,
and whatever your labors and aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul.
With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy.

Life Is A Gift
Today before you think of saying an unkind word–
think of someone who can’t speak.
Before you complain about the taste of your food–
think of someone who has nothing to eat.
Before you complain about your husband or wife–
think of someone who is crying out to God for a companion.
Today before you complain about life–
think of someone who went too early to heaven.
Before you complain about your children–
think of someone who desires children but they’re barren.
Before you argue about your dirty house, someone didn’t clean or sweep–
think of the people who are living in the streets.
Before whining about the distance you drive–
think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet.

7 Reasons to Stop Proving Yourself to Everyone Else
Sometimes we try to show the world we are flawless in hopes that we will be liked and accepted by everyone, but we can’t please everyone and we shouldn’t try. The beauty of us lies in our vulnerability, our complex emotions, and our authentic imperfections. When we embrace who we are and decide to be authentic, instead of who we think others want us to be, we open ourselves up to real relationships, real happiness, and real success.
There is no need to put on a mask. There is no need to pretend to be someone you’re not. You have nothing to prove to anyone else, because…
1. The people worth impressing just want you to be yourself.
In the long run, it’s better to be loathed for who you are than loved for who you are not. In fact, the only relationships that work well in the long run are the ones that make you a better person without changing you into someone other than yourself, and without preventing you from outgrowing the person you used to be.
Ignore the comparisons and expectations knocking at your door. The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday. Prove yourself to yourself, not others. The RIGHT people for you will love you for doing so, and they will appreciate all the things about you that the WRONG people are intimidated by. Bottom line: Don’t change so people will like you; be patient, keep being your amazing self, and pretty soon the RIGHT people will love the REAL you.
2. No one else really knows what’s best for YOU.
Don’t lose yourself in your search for acceptance by others. Walk your path confidently and don’t expect anyone else to understand your journey, especially if they have not been exactly where you are going. You have to take the steps that are right for you; no one else walks in your shoes.
Let others take you as you are, or not at all. Speak your truth even if your voice shakes. By being true to yourself, you put something breathtaking into the world that was not there before. You are stunning when your passion and strength shines through as you follow your own path – when you aren’t distracted by the opinions of others. You are powerful when you let your mistakes educate you, and your confidence builds from firsthand experiences – when you know you can fall down, pick yourself up, and move forward without asking for anyone else’s permission. (Read Awaken the Giant Within.)
3. YOU are the only person who can change YOUR life.
In every situation you have ever been in, positive or negative, the one common thread is you. It is your responsibility, and yours alone, to recognize that regardless of what has happened up to this point in your life, you are capable of making choices to change your situation, or to change the way you think about it. Don’t let the opinions of others interfere with this prevailing reality.
What you’re capable of achieving is not a function of what other people think is possible for you. What you’re capable of achieving depends entirely on what you choose to do with your time and energy. So stop worrying about what everyone else thinks. Just keep living your truth. The only people that will fault you for doing so are those who want you to live a lie.
4. Society’s materialistic measurement of worth is worthless.
When you find yourself trapped between what moves you and what society tells you is right for you, always travel the route that makes you feel alive – unless you want everyone to be happy, except you. No matter where life takes you, big cities or small towns, you will inevitably come across others who think they know what’s best for you – people who think they’re better than you – people who think happiness, success and beauty mean the same things to everyone.
They’ll try to measure your worth based on what you have, instead of who you are. But you know better than that – material things don’t matter. Don’t chase the money. Catch up to the ideas and activities that make you come alive. Go for the things of greater value – the things money can’t buy. What matters is having strength of character, an honest heart, and a sense of self-worth. If you’re lucky enough to have any of these things, never sell them. Never sell yourself short. (Angel and I discuss this in more detail in the “Self-Love” and “Simplicity” chapters of 1,000 Little Things Happy, Successful People Do Differently.)
5. Life isn’t a race; you have nothing to prove.
Everyone wants to get to the top of the mountain first and shout, “Look at me! Look at me!” But the truth is, all your happiness and growth occurs while you’re climbing, not while you’re sitting at the top. Enjoy the journey by paying attention to each step. Don’t rush through your life and miss it. Forget where everyone else is in relation to you. This isn’t a race. You get there a little at a time, not all at once.
Let go of the foolish need to prove yourself to everyone else, and you’ll free yourself to accomplish what matters most to you. Sometimes you have to remind yourself that you don’t have to always be and do what everyone else is being and doing.
6. The path to all great things passes through failure.
You are an ever-changing work in progress. You don’t have to always be right, you just have to not be too worried about being wrong. Screwing up is part of the process. Looking like a fool sometimes is the only way forward. If you try too hard to impress everyone else with your “perfection,” you will stunt your growth. You will spend all your time looking a certain way, instead of living a certain way.
It’s impossible to live without failing sometimes, unless you live so cautiously that you aren’t really living at all – you’re merely existing. If you’re too afraid of failing in front of others, you can’t possibly do what needs to be done to be successful in your own eyes. You have to remember that it doesn’t matter how many times you fail or how messy your journey is, so long as you do not stop taking small steps forward. In the end, those who don’t care that failure is inevitable are the ones that reach their dreams. YOU can be one of them. (Read The Last Lecture.)
7. It’s impossible to please everyone anyway.
Some people will always tell you what you did wrong, and then hesitate to compliment you for what you did right. Don’t be one of them, and don’t put up with them.
When you run into someone who discredits you, disrespects you and treats you poorly for no apparent reason at all, don’t consume yourself with trying to change them or win their approval. And be sure not to leave any space in your heart to hate them. Simply walk away and let karma deal with the things they say and do, because any bit of time you spend on these people will be wasted, and any bit of hate and aggravation in your heart will only hurt you in the end.
Afterthoughts
You don’t need a standing ovation or a bestseller or a promotion or a million bucks. You are enough right now. You have nothing to prove. Care less about who you are to others and more about who you are to yourself. You will have less heartaches and disappointments the minute you stop seeking from others the validation only YOU can give yourself.
The floor is yours…

ICE என்பது In Case of Emergency.

Don’t just have career or academic goals. Set goals to give you a balanced, successful life. Balanced means ensuring your health, relationships, mental peace are all in good order.
There is no point of getting a promotion on the day of your breakup. There is no fun in driving a car if your back hurts. Shopping is not enjoyable if your mind is full of tensions.
Don't take life seriously. Life is not meant to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here.
We are like a prepaid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends.
Do we really need to get so worked up? …It's OK, Bunk few classes, score low in couple of papers, take leave from work, fall in love, fight a little with your spouse... It's okay.
We are people, not programmed devices..!
"Don't be serious, enjoy Life as it comes."
