I like that Parry's sugra recent adv... It goes like this

"A little gal and her mom will be there in the kitchen..Phone rings...the little girl picks up the receiver and says Shoba Aunty..her mom askes her to tell that shez not there, with actions..the cute little girls says 'Amma sonnanga avunnga veetula illeynu'"

Then the adv ends with the quote "Parrys sugar kuzhanthayin manadhai pola thooimayanadhu"

Its not funny but looks gr8 in the screen

I also like this HDFC ..Childrens plan adv...In which a small gal will stand in the stage in a fancy dress comp..and forget her dialogues...Her dad helps her to tell those dialogues ...Nice one

I liked the new Surf ad too, where the little boy and girl walk and the girl steps into a puddle and starts crying... Some one sent it to me as an attachment and I found it really cute :)

I heard the latest ad by Lux stars Shahrukh Khan, endorsing the product! Has anyone in India seen it? Surely, seeing Shahrukh Khan in a bathtup filled with roses is one FUNNY COMMERICAL!!!

I luv the mentos ad where the guy comes late to his class...the master sends him out when he tries to sneak into the class... He then puts a mentos & tries to enter the class in a reverse motion... :lol: The master thinks that he's trying to sneak out of the class & says 'sit down'... it's really funny to watch...

Theres another ad that I saw recently and I really liked..
It shows a small boy gobbling up gulab jamums..and his dad just back from work says hmmm..gulab jamuns wow!!whats the occasion?His wife who looks very pleased says our boy came second in a race.The hubby taking a gulab jamun says second??Not bad Not bad and asks how many people were there in the race. (by this time theres only jamun left)the kid hurriedly takes the last one ,says 2 people :lol: .That was clever and funny I thought.

Ssanjinika: Between me posting the link and you checking it, things have changed on the page! Some of the ads on the page were directly hitting at Dell... and some of them were not publishable for other reasons!

Anyways, I am not sure if the rest of the world gets to see the same Carlsberg ads that we get to see, I think they are one of the best series. Followed by Hieniken and Stella Artois :)

The latest Amstel ad (New World) is hillarious too....

They show Christopher Columbus in his boat and a few other boats around in 1462, in the middle of the sea...

Christopher says "I think we are lost".

Then in one of the boats there are four Irish men, one of which goes "Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" Till one of the four stands up and goes, I see land and then shouts out to the other boat "Chris, I see land there".

The next shot is Columbus on his knees in the land and the four guys go, "will we have a drink?"

As they are having their amstel, one of them goes "Do you think Chris will name this place after "US" because we found it first?" As one of the guys rights "US" on the condenstation in his beer glass the other guy goes "Eh (A), I don't think so" :)

I guess you have to see the ad to see how funny it is....

I like this ad of a biscuit where the 2 guys would be playing chess.

A small boy would hint one of the players for a clever move only to be check-mated. He would later find out the boy
is the other player's son and conned him out. Sweet enough to show brainy stuffs

(Though how biscuits alone can make someone brainy I wonder..
may be it would just add extra smartness)

The other ad is KURKURE.... where the whole family is silly fun loving and laughing out major problems. One would wish eating KURKURE would ease out problems with a smile too.

"Ennaa family!" dialogue is too cute and fits in the ad perfectly.

There is a recent ad about 'shrigold'. When the mom goes to explain why the 'shree' and why the 'gold', the door bell rings. Mom says "appa vanthachu" and the little son corrects her promptly saying "shree appa" . Its sweet to watch.

There is this ad for shampoo, which has the mom answering the question "naama thinamum en thalaikku kulikkanam"..

"naan enna azhukka?!" retorts back the child. Very impressive performance indeed.

Later the child checkmates mom, saying "thinamum thaan saami kumbidarom, appo thinamum en thalaikku kulikarathillai?!?"

Hmm, I wonder what the purpose of the Ad is. What does it achieve? I can think of two messages at least...

a) Take an Aircel connection and run the risk of some moron screwing up your life

or

b) Be the moron and screw someone else's life! You don't even have to take an Aircel connection. Simply use the chap's whose life you are out to ruin!

Seriously, do they expect sales to go up? Is the Ad based on the premise that people are plain dumb and will not think beyond Surya and Cellphone?
