Can someone tell me the ideal batter for frying boiled Eggs(a tea-time snack) The last time, I tried with Besan, the batter did not stck to the egg and came out as a separate peel.

Hi Niranjana,
Try this
Besan flour 2 measures
White rice flour 2 measures
Sodium Bicarbonate 2 pinches
Chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
Salt
grated ginger paste 1/4 teaspoon
Asefoetida 1 pinch
Make a thick batter, dip and coat boiled eggs and fry to golden brown in hot oil.

hi niranjana,
u could also try this.
make the batter my soaking channa dal (kadalai paruppu) for 2 hrs
and grind with chilli powder and salt(no water pls). split the egg and soak it in the batter and make bajji.
